1  Other / Beginners & Help / If you're getting tired of BTC and feel like quitting? on: August 06, 2011, 09:05:25 PM
Hey there.

Due to resent developments in the Bitcoin market people are getting a bit frightened that the price will continue to drop and that it'll stay down there in the mud.

If you're one of that people and you're feeling/going to quit mining those 0.05 BTC/day and just give it up, and/or you just don't feel like it anymore, I have to things to say. First, I think you should reconsider, just hang with it until it's more spread and more widely used. Secondly I say, if you think it's lost, don't erase your wallet, or don't just leave them sitting there, give them to someone that actually wants them and will use them, that person will contribute to a Bitcoin currency that might be useful some day.

It is bald of me to ask this I know, but give them to me if not to anyone else. I simply don't want Bitcoin to die out.

Cheers,

2  Other / Beginners & Help / How much BTC are you generating on an average day mining? on: July 16, 2011, 12:08:06 AM
Why hello there!

I thought it would be interesting to see how everybody's doing and if there is a difference between miners with the same hashrate.

The questions are, how much BTC are you generating on an average day mining? Are you pooling? Which pool? What's your hashrate?

I myself make about 0.2-0.35 BTC a day with a hashrate at about 300-420 MHash/s, depending on the time of the day etc. I'm testing different pools, but am currently using Triplemining for a couple of days.

Cheerio,
