1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Russian billionaires invest into crypto on: November 25, 2017, 10:59:34 AM
Curios, but when Russian government does not recognize officially crypto, Russian billionaires like Roman Abramovich and the other guys from Forges actively invest not only into BTC, but into altcoins.
Thus alts have cool future?
2  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Price of Bump Mining Free on Mycelium wallet and others on: October 17, 2017, 03:16:10 AM
Can I change this bumping to different price somehow?
Because I see option only 0.001 and it is quite a lot! About 5.96$.

And secon question.

What exactly doing Rebroadcast transaction. (in Mycelium wallet)
Is it doing inside my wallet something or inside blockchain?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What ways do you know to get new coins? on: September 19, 2017, 08:07:49 PM
So.

What I am knowing.

1. Participating in bounties: signature, twitter, facebook.
2. Maybe some airdrops.
3. Participating in voting at website Wings.ai
4. Receiving some coins from Waves (actually what I need to do to receive coins? Or nothing except having waves?)

So my question is.
What other methods do you know? The most interesting thing for me is getting coins through other altcoins.

Added later 3/10/2017:
5. New trand of receiving altcoins is mining in browser. For example freebitco.in added this feature. And many others websites.
4  Other / Off-topic / Just want to vent. on: April 21, 2015, 08:29:25 PM
No purpose to this post, I just want to vent.

I have been messing around with some Dust coins across different dice games out there.

I found one that has a Auto-bet feature that I found interesting. I pre-loaded the account with 0.011 btc about a week ago, configured the Auto-bet feature so that it starts with a base bet of just 5 sat, If it loses than it doubles and goes again, if it wins it returns to the base bet amount and repeats.

5 Full days this bot ran, Millions and millions of rolls. It dragged itself from 0.011 btc to 0.064 btc, it already exceeded my expectations.

The bot was running 24 hours a day for the full 5 days, I checked on it a couple of times a day just to see how its doing.

Well less than a hour ago I checked on the bot... WHILE I was watching it in real time I saw physics break down, 21 loses in a row....21.
Let me show you what 21 consecutive loses looks like,

0.00000005
0.00000010
0.00000020
0.00000040
0.00000080
0.00000160
0.00000320
0.00000640
0.00001280
0.00002560
0.00005120
0.00010240
0.00020480
0.00040960
0.00081920
0.00163840
0.00327680
0.00655360
0.01310720
0.02621440
Than 1 final losing bet of about 0.0115 to bring my final balance to 0.00000000

Ohhhhhh I hate myself so much now.

I am a bit confused here,
I have been putting a good bit of time into creating this thread and following through with my proposed plans.
4 days old, read nearly 2,000 times, and on the third page of commentary.

Mods,
Can we talk about why this happen. If I was in violation of the ToS, Can I make the appropriate changes and reinstate my thread?

10  Other / Off-topic / Threads Lost in time. CPU to GPU Mining Evolution? <("<) on: September 11, 2014, 08:42:48 PM
Hmmm...
Am I mistaken, Or did I just find the thread containing the very first mentions of the evolution from CPU to GPU mining?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133.0

I really like this comment on the first page lol.

While this is definitely really cool, it won't benefit anyone if you release it. After two weeks, the difficulty system will adjust and we'll be back to generating bitcoins at the same rate but using much more computer power. Although I suppose this will benefit those with fast video cards instead of just fast CPUs.

I'm one of those people, so full steam ahead! Cheesy
