What will you test?You will test the role of the agent (arbitrator) in a disputed escrow contract. You will need to go through the contract chat and arbitrate the case* based on the collected evidence. Step 2. Wait a few hours before we assign you as an agent and invite you to a disputed escrow contract. Step 3. Go back to the Zenland App, and find the contract you’re invited to. Proceed to collecting evidence and arbitrating the case. Step 4. Come back to this thread and post your feedback on your experience. *using a new Metamask address is highly recommended because addresses used in the campaign will be blocked on Zenland and cannot be used in the future.Tips for arbitrating a case1. Review the contract details thoroughly. Look for inconsistencies in the contract creation date, due date, and buyer protection time. 2. Inspect the chat between the buyer and seller. Sometimes it is easy to catch unfairness by how people construct what they say. 3. Pay attention to the sequence of events in the contract log. Unfairness might be evident if the buyer's actions seem rushed or if the seller delays crucial steps without valid reasons. 4. Study the reputation data of both parties involved which you can find on their profile page. 5. If necessary, communicate with the buyer or seller through the contract chat page to gather extra evidence. Uncooperative behavior, aggression, or refusal to provide essential information could hint at unfairness or victimization. 6. Make your arbitration decision by considering the actions and evidence. Aim for a fair split* that reflects the level of wrongdoing or compliance with the contract terms by each party. *depending on the effort put in and the time spent to arbitrate the case, agents can set their fee at 1 to 3% of the contract price, a.i. the agreed amount.Special notice to testersZenland supports 5 major EVM-compatible networks. Since we want to beta-test them all, testers will be randomly selected for different networks. More detailed information will be provided via DM. Make your feedback detailed and on point. Express an original opinion, not based on other reports. Provide screenshots if you encounter a technical bug. There is no fixed turnaround time for running and submitting your reports, however, we expect it to be done within 5 days after we have accepted your application.

We deploy the contract and transfer your reward inside. 5. Sign in back to Zenland, and complete (fulfil) the contract (we will send you native coin of the chosen network to cover the transaction fees). 6. Come back to your OP on this thread and leave the second timestamp that you completed the contract. 7. We see it and release the reward to your wallet address.

How it Works:1. Users submit applications. 2. We post a list of accepted users on 28 August. 3. Accepted users have 48 hours to wear the signatures and avatars. The campaign begins on 30 August at 00:00 UTC. 4. Participants who chose currencies other than BTC will sign in to Zenland and approve escrow contracts for each week on Wednesdays. Participants who chose BTC can skip this step. 5. At the end of each week, those participants get paid through escrow contracts. And participants who chose BTC will get paid to their BTC wallet directly.

Rules: before application:1.1. Do not have legitimate negative feedback. 1.2. Have at least 5 merits received in the last 120 days. 1.3. Apply from one (real) account. 1.4. Have a Full Member or higher account rank. if accepted:2.1. Wear the signature and never remove it until you stop participating in the campaign. 2.2. Do not change the signature design. 2.3. Make a minimum of 2 eligible posts each day. 2.4. Make a minimum of 10 eligible posts each week. 2.5. Posts must be at least 150 characters long and constructive. 2.6. We have a two-stage dispute resolution mechanism. In the first stage, the parties are given time to discuss (revisions, replacements, etc.) and resolve the issue by themselves. If they are not able to come to a consensus, they can escalate the dispute to the second stage where an agent is invited into the case who will neutrally investigate and decide who will receive the funds (sent to either one party or split between two parties). The role of the agent is taken by Zenland team until we’re ready to launch Zenland DAO. When DAO is formed, agents are picked by the community. Agent fee. Hello Bitcointalk! I've been in the online business for a little over a decade now with everything from e-commerce to blogs to affiliate marketing. I've found flipping sites profitable, but still either risky or overpriced without the right escrow that I want to cover in this tutorial. Zenland is a decentralized escrow service that is a fancy way to say it is blockchain-based (works without an escrow agent or payment processor). Note that it may not be best for physical goods like cars or a luxury watch but it surely works for selling domains or websites for it has no minimum escrow or bank fees. Let's say you want to sell a website with its data, passwords, and Instagram account. Here's how you would use Zenland escrow in this case. 1. You chat with the buyer about the deal (the price, how and when the payment is made, and how the ownership is transferred) and if the buyer agrees ask for his MetaMask wallet address. You can find your own MetaMask address right below your account name (it is in the format 0xbb23...552f82). 2. Then, you login to Zenland app via MetaMask extension (no email or password required) to create a contract and enter the contact details. Connecting your wallet to Zenland is needed to create an anonymous profile with your crypto wallet address. In the form, you first enter your and buyer's MetaMask wallet addresses. This is needed to transfer payment from the buyer's address into the contract and to your wallet address after the deal is complete. You may also name the contract and enter the website specifics like domain name, hosting location, database, website template, etc. in the contract details, or leave it blank since its optional. Next, enter the date and time (can be on the same day) you think you will need to complete the contract requirements. Select the blockchain network (think of it a payment method) and the currency you accept. I mostly choose USDT, but there are other options to choose from. Put in the buyer protection time. It's the time for a buyer to transfer website data to his hosting (usually takes between 3 and 5 hours). If you don't know how much time will be needed for website ownership transfer you may select days) After, enter the price you agreed to sell your website for (let's say it's 1 USDT just for an example). There is also a Zenland service fee that can be paid by you, by the buyer, or split in half. 3. Once the contract has been created, the buyer has to approve its terms. Once he logs in, he should see a notification about a new contract created with him in the top right corner of the dashboard. If disagree with the contract terms, the buyer may edit the conditions before approving. In this case, you, the seller, will see a notification asking you to approve the changes made by the buyer. If you disagree with some of its conditions, you can talk things over in the Contract Chat. It is a secure anonymous chat that automatically records and displays any changes made to the contract and is only seen by you and the seller. 4. As soon as you both approve the contract, its conditions cannot be changed. The next step is to deploy (publish) the contract to the blockchain. This is done by the buyer. When he clicks the "Deploy" button, MetaMask window opens and the buyer must confirm the transaction. But just like any other operation, deployment has two conditions to happen: 1) a buyer must have money in his MetaMask wallet address to pay the deployment gas fee; 2) a buyer/seller (or both users) must have a positive balance on their internal wallet(s) to pay the service fee. 5. Alright, the buyer deployed the contract! Now is time to transfer the agreed payment of say $1 USDT into the contract. For it, the buyer clicks the "Transfer" button and confirms the transaction in the opened MetaMask window. 6. As you see the payment is inside the contract, you send the website login and password to the buyer and press the "Complete" button. It's a blockchain transaction and a gas fee will be paid from your MetaMask wallet. Tip: You can check payment by entering the contract address in the search bar on the official blockchain explorer site (Etherscan, BSCscan, and others). 7. Remember that buyer protection time we've mentioned when filling out the contract form? Once you hit the "Complete' button, the countdown will start. By the end of it if everything is okay with the transfer, the buyer must release the payment from the contract to your wallet address. If he forgets to do so, or simply disappears, the "Release" button will become available to you and you can do it on your own. Think of this cool feature to protect sellers from scams that no other escrow have! 8. Finally, you check your MetaMask wallet address specified in the contract to see if the payment sum has already been transferred to it. The amount will show up under assets.

Unlike traditional escrow services or payment processors, our default escrow contracts are: - easy-to-use: built-in default escrow contract template, contract chat displaying contract log messages, control page to regulate the contract progression, contract notification system, etc. - decentralized: Zenland escrow contracts will only come into effect once deployed (published) to the public blockchain network and can never be controlled or executed by any third party or central authority (including the Zenland team). - anonymous: no personal data that directly identifies a user (no KYC), other than standard browser data, is collected or stored on our server before, during, or after the contract execution. - trustless: neither you nor the other contract participant have to trust any third party including us with the contract amount.
