1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Trouble with www.moneypaktobitcoin.blogspot.com on: November 13, 2014, 01:00:25 AM
Has anyone heard of or dealt with this site? www.moneypaktobitcoin.blogspot.com

I'm involved in an extremely protracted attempt to purchase bitcoin from them, they have my money, I've received nothing and I don't think I can trust them now that they're again asking for more money.

Edit 22nd December 2014
This scam site has been cycling through a number of alternate blogspot addresses. Currently one of them is http://payypalexchange.blogspot.com/

They all look fairly similar though.

2  Economy / Currency exchange / Ukash $50 Australian / make an offer on: September 22, 2014, 07:37:38 AM
Make me an offer for my Ukash voucher or if anyone can recommend a trustworthy exchanger.

I know Neteller say they take Ukash but they only allow those funds to be spent at authorised Ukash merchants.

I'm happy to trade first with the right person and even scan the voucher if that's needed.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / How many bitcoin is considered a bulk amount? on: September 16, 2014, 08:21:24 AM
For example, let's say the market rate is $US500/bitcoin, what kind of discount below market rate could be expected in a trade for 10, 20, 50 or 100 bitcoin?

Who deals in those kinds of quantities?
4  Economy / Currency exchange / WTB bitcoin : Have $44 EgoPay on: September 13, 2014, 07:27:40 PM
I will send first but would prefer to trade with a trusted member.

Please post in here with the amount of bitcoin you can offer. I will do my best to respond quickly but please be patient.

I will leave trust feedback and would appreciate the same. Thanks!
5  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTB] Btc & pay with Ukash on: September 09, 2014, 10:25:00 PM
I bought a $100 Ukash voucher, it's in Australian dollars so I'm expecting to have to change it to either US, Euro or other.

Some current Ukash exchange rates for the amount I have are:
$97 Canadian
68.30 Euro
54.8 British Pounds
$88.20 USA

I will send first to a trusted / long established forum member otherwise you can either trust me and send first or we use escrow.

I always leave trust feedback for trades and would appreciate the same from you.

If you're interested, make an offer in this thread.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / SCAM money exchange site auto-xchanger.com on: August 26, 2014, 06:54:24 PM
It is now just over a week ago that I put 2 transactions through the above mentioned site, each of which were supposed to take no more than 3 days to complete. In the last 3 days I've put in 3 support messages (and, just now, a couple of up-yours-you-bastards style messages because I'm fucking over people that fuck with other people's money) clearly identifying myself and the transactions I'm waiting for and all I've got back is a big fat nothing. Their so-called support is just window dressing.

AVOID THESE DIRTY SCAMMING, SCUM-BAGS
7  Other / Meta / Suggestion: new Marketplace child board: Nickle & Dime trades on: August 26, 2014, 06:42:41 PM
Speaking for myself, my time spent scanning through the Currency exchange child board would be better spent if it weren't so full of threads concerned with loose change amounts of proposed trade.

For those agreeing that it would be useful to separate the men from the boys (or should that be adults from children?), where is the line between a worthwhile amount to trade and a nickle and dime trade? For me, the purely arbitrary figure of $100 would be a good place to start.
8  Bitcoin / Pools / Newbie: contracts and pool hopping on: August 23, 2014, 01:57:20 AM
I'll be trying contract mining soon, I've chosen the Slush pool but while I'm experimenting with various shorter contracts, am I going to be seen as a pool hopper? Will I be penalised for this?
