Someone accidentally deposited some amount of LTC_BSC to my Bybit account, but unfortunately, Bybit doesn’t currently support LTC on the BSC network, so they said the funds were placed under the Pending Asset (whatever that means) but it’s nowhere to be found anywhere in my Bybit balance. Now I wish to refund the asset back to the sender, but since neither the asset or the network are supported in Bybit, there’s currently no option to withdraw, convert or move out the funds from wherever it is. I need help with this, anyone got something for me?

I know everyone views losing streak as the worst thing to happen to a gambler and then winning streak as the real deal, every gambler desires one. But then I was wondering, what if winning streak is just another illusion that the casino gives the gambler in order to draw them all in, gambling with their two feet all in the casino. Because I know for sure that what usually comes after gambler follow a winning streak isn’t usually a smile because you never know when the streak will be over, and when the trend is already stuck in your brain, you’ll want to push it further even after a series of losses, hoping you’ll find yourself back on the winning track again, (which isn’t always the case) and before you know it, your bankroll is completely drained, leaving the gambler with nothing but regrets.
So which is more dangerous? A losing streak, where a gambler understands the trend early and takes a walk or the illusion of a winning streak where the gambler later falls into an endless loop?

E Dey quite unfortunate say both the government and the citizens don kolo finish. Why I talk this thing? Because if no be kolo, I no see any reason wey both government and Citizens for this country go forget the meaning of democracy. Government go wake up one morning, make one law, impose am on citizens, everybody go just keep quiet like say we be dummy.
Yes na House of Assembly Dey pass bill and president Dey sign am, but that no mean say e don automatically become law, except the citizens don accept am, whether na openly or them just keep quiet follow the government for back. Government own na to give law for paper, but na the citizens part now to give am life. This one no be call for violence but na wake up call for everybody to know the power wey them get.
No matter how law strong reach, if people no cooperate or comply, e no fit work. And one thing wey we no know na say to keep quiet na sign say we don accept, even if we Dey complain from now till tomorrow, if we no take the necessary actions, then e mean say we don accept am. But once Nigerians wake up to start to reject some kind laws wey no Dey favour us, either via protest, publicly disagreeing or just refusal to obey am, that law don weak.
History na proof say any law or policy wey people no gree accept go just fall quick quick. Meaning say through power for democracy no only Dey for government hand alone, but also for the citizens hands too. Now from next year, every individual go start to pay tax as long as 800k don enter your aza, and I never see any better thing citizens don talk or do so far, other than to Dey complain. Make we better wake up before we sleep forever.

Hola folks A lot of folk in the gambling sphere claim to gamble for the purpose of fun and entertainment, which I also believe is the right way to approach gambling even though I’ve come across a few people around who have quite the opposite view about this. (That’s not the purpose of this thread though.
Now down to my question. Is it really gambling for fun when folks gamble everyday? I mean, is there no other way they can choose to have fun other than gambling? Because even something that started off as fun could along the way turn into an addiction when it is done too frequently right? So are those who gamble everyday really gambling for fun or is there something else that draws them to gambling every single day?

I have this friend who’s a gambler, whenever he goes to the casino and comes back, you’d always hear him say “damn I’ve just lost $200 today” and sometimes he calls a much higher amount. And this is someone I know too well that he doesn’t have such an amount, someone who could even barely afford two square meal a day. One day out of curiosity, I asked him how he managed to get the huge amount of money that he lost, and it was then I learned that he wasn’t always referring to the initial stake amount but the potential wins. That he’s not always concerned about the initial stake but the potential wins.
Which led me to asking, does anyone also feel this same way? Say in a parlay, one pick resulted to losing a huge amount, which would you regret (the most) losing? The initial stake amount or the potential win?

I greet all of you my country people. I know there may be a few other topics that emphasizes on the importance of an Emergency fund to an investor. Yes, everybody knows say Emergency funds dey important, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. With the help of this thread I'm aiming to give a detailed and step by step guide on how to simultaneously build an emergency fund while also accumulating Bitcoin. This is to prevent the excuse of having to waste more time building an emergency fund before getting started with one's accumulation journey.
DETERMINING YOUR FINANCIAL PRIORITIES
1. Emergency Fund: An emergency fund like we already know should be at least 3 to 6 months of our living expenses and this is what we should aim for. The final amount usually varies from individual to individual so focus on your financial situation and allocate 20% of your income to a readily accessible savings account. You may also choose to diversify a lesser percentage of your Emergency fund to Bitcoin too. Note that this is by choice and not really necessary. 2. Bitcoin Accumulation: 30% of your income should go to your discretionary spending, you can choose to use all 30% to accumulate Bitcoin or use a lesser percentage, it's totally up to you, but note that it should be a reasonable amount.
I know some people might already be tempted to as where the other 50% of your income should go. Take a chill pill, we'll also come to that. Now, we move to another segment which is...
TIPS FOR BUILDING AN EMERGENCY FUND
1. Automate your savings: sometimes having to manually save money can be very tiring, you might even forget sometimes and before you know it, you've used the money for something else, so automating your savings can be a pretty helpful tip to ensure you stay religious with your savings. 2. Make use of the 50/30/20 allocation rule: 50% of your income allocation should go to taking care of essential expenses and immediate needs. The mistake people often make is neglecting this aspect, forgetting that it is actually inevitable and unavoidable, even when you manage to avoid it today, it'll come back tomorrow bigger, and you'll be forced to still sort them out, thereby messing up your plans. 30% goes to your discretionary income and the other 20% towards your savings and also for debt repayments.
TIPS FOR INVESTING IN BITCOIN
1. Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA): This is a very popular strategy and every true Bitcoin enthusiast should have heard or known this strategy. Now the reason I'm bringing up this strategy is because, if you're to achieve building a portfolio and an emergency simultaneously, then you need to marry this strategy, because it's the only strategy I know that gives you the kind of flexibility to achieve this. So prioritize investing a fixed amount from your discretionary income/spending at a regular interval that sits well with you, regardless of the market's performance. 2. Start small: Starting small is very important, especially if you're a low income earner, don't look at how much you plan to achieve just yet and just start with a manageable investment amount and then you can gradually increase your pace/amount overtime. 3. Diversify your portfolio: for starters, this isn't actually very mandatory but I just wanted to include it because there are some unique situations that may likely arise that may potentially lead to diversifying your investment beyond Bitcoin in order to minimize risk.
BALANCE BOTH GOALS
1. Your Emergency Fund should come first (for now): If you're hoping to achieve both goals simultaneously, then your focus should be more on stacking up that emergency fund FIRST, and then you may allocate more funds to your BTC accumulation. 2. Adjust your allocations: This may not also be very necessary for some, but periodically review your income allocation and should the need arise, make some necessary adjustments in order to ensure you're actually meeting the goals. 3. Be Patient: this is actually the most important one, building an emergency fund and a Bitcoin Stash at the same time takes a lot of time and so requires lots of patience, because sometimes it might look like you're not even getting it right, but as long as you're following the above steps, just keep going and being patient.
These steps may not really look like pretty much but I assure you that these steps and tips can actually help anyone (with a steady income source) to build a robust Emergency fund while also accumulating Bitcoin regularly. And don't forget that staying disciplined, patient and informed is also key to achieving this goal. Pls you can also include other helpful tools if you've got any.

Good evening my people. I been just dey waka for gambling board this evening wey I bump into this thread, and I say I need bring am come here our local board make we also chook mouth inside this matter. As a correct Naija man wey you be, if you actually find yourself for this kind of situation, wetin go be your next line of action? You go give am the money, abi you go freestyle am. I recently view this post from a facebook user about gambling story. I rarely find a gambling story post since I didn’t view gambling stuff on facebook so I became curious. Here’s the content. A man in Uganda secretly took $10,000 from his girlfriend to place a high stakes bet, and won a staggering $100 million. He returned her original $10K, thinking the matter was settled. But she was anything but satisfied, now demanding $40 million of the jackpot, citing betrayal and her “investment.”
Will you share the profit the way your girlfriend demanded it or split it the way the man thinks right which is just returning the money. Remember that if he lose the money, he will just give it back again secretly since there’s no consent for gambling. If only this man shut his mouth right?

As the development and advancement of the cryptocurrency industry continues to unfold, the problem of security remains acute for investors and enthusiasts of cryptocurrencies. The seed phase is one of the essential security measures that should be adequately taken to protect our digital assets. The seed phrase here is one that grants anyone access the wallet and the amount of money that is available in there as we already know. But the 1 bill I dollars question remains where must be the best and safest place for storing this valuable information?
In a world filled with hacking threats, physical storage vulnerabilities, and technological failures, I've come to a realization: the best place to store my seed phrase is actually in my head. Yes; and now, I walk through the process of memorizing and knowing all my seed phrases by heart.
>THE DANGERS OF PHYSICAL STORAGE
One can keep seed phrases either on paper or in electronic form, and some pay argue that putting the paper inside a safe, or in a locked cabinet may feel like enough security. However, these methods are not reliable as reliable as they may appear to be. Safes can be breached and open, cabinets can be forced opened, papers can be misplaced or destroyed. Further, existing physical storage procedures may face severe challenges such as natural disasters, fire outbreaks, or floods. A very good example is the recent fire outbreak in LA that consumed everything in its path, so imagine someone in that neighborhood has a hardware wallet in his house with the pass phrases hidden in somewhere in the house he considered safe and the fire came and engulfed his house, he’ll literally lose every single thing. Even if the the safe is fireproof, and it’s a flood, everything can be easily displaced.
>THE DANGERS OF DIGITAL STORAGE
Also unsafe are digital storage forms that include copying seed phrases in a computer or phone. Technology malwares, ranked hacking, and general technological disasters can in varying degrees jeopardize digital storage. Also, decentralization of the seed phrase also implies that your seed phrase is only as safe as the device or digital platform you use.
THE POWER OF MEMORIZATION
Eliminating the issues associated with physical and electronic storage is possible since memorizing your seed phrase is 100% possible that even the dumbest person can do it. In this way, your phrase is shielded in a way and you adhere it to your memory so well that no external interuption has a way to penetrate it. In general, your seed phrase will be safe unless there is an exceptionally serious case, for instance, when you suffer a head blow or other health problems that results in amnesia.
I’m not saying it’s an easy thing to do, It needs focus and commitment to memorize a seed phrase. I’ve been able to come up with some helpful tips to help anyone commit their phrase to memory:
1. Break it down: Split your seed phrase into segments to make it easier for you to memorize them if in case you end up forgetting them. 2. Create associations: Connect each word or phrase to individual and interpersonal imagery. 3. Repeat and rehearse: Now and then, repeat your seed phrase to help refresh your memory. 4. Use mnemonic devices: When recalling information use methods such as an abbreviation or creation of a rhyme, just as if you’re learning how to memorize your country’s national anthem.
CONCLUSION
In the current world, where cybersecurity threats and natural disasters and theft are prevalent, the best form of security is doing things the traditional way: memorizing a seed phrase. When you memorize your phrase, you are also free from all the risks that you have with the physical and digital storage. Though it takes time and commitment, But still, you are secure knowing your seed phrase is safe and can be used at any time needed. Therefore, attempt memorizing your seed phrase today; you should start memorizing it today if you haven’t. You’ll be glad you did it for your digital assets.

Can we all just use a few minutes of our busy, valuable and precious time to appreciate all our brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, uncles, aunties, Niblings, friends and everyone we may know (or might have come across sometime) who are in the military and even the Paramilitary. These people are risking their lives every single day just so we all in our various countries can live in peace and without fear of anything, and yet we never really get to appreciate them enough.
Many of them have died already, many of them may have been handicapped in one way or the other, we haven't seen many in months, some get to see many more often but never really get to appreciate them well enough. I really don't know why this thought came into my head but I feel it'll really be a great idea to have this sort of a quick appreciate on the forum, just take out a minute or two, if you have their numbers, give em a call, and if you know somewhere who has their number, give the person a call and request for their number or however way you feel you can reach out to them quickly. Reach them and just tell them how much you appreciate their service to their motherland, and encourage them to keep it going, they can really use the encouragement because some of them are tired and just want quite.
So if you can do this, I'll really appreciate it.

For this kyn digital age wey we dey like this, online communities like this one don really help plenty people as e don create avenue for discussion and learning and even to share and exchange information. But regardless of all the advantages wey these online communities dey provide to people, e don also turn playground for scammers wey just dey look for small opportunities to carry deceive and thief from people wey eye no reach ground.
The reason wey I create this thread na because of wetin I don dey observe lately for the forum, I sha no know if na only me don dey notice am but I believe say others dey also notice this thing wey I wan talk like this. E get one mad scammer wey dey on the loose, wey just dey disturb both Bitcoin and Gambling Discussion Board with him spamming posts, although our mods them dey sharp to dey delete these annoying posts, but this relentless spammer just dey bombard the boards with him shady links dey fyn who go click him link.
Despite the Moderators their relentless efforts to dey delete these posts, this spammer just dey persistent, dey clog people Telegram Notifier those endless streams of annoying junk posts. For people like me, this wahala don render my Telegram Notifier almost useless because better post notifications wey I supposed dey follow up go come mix up inside these spam posts and because of this wahala, e come dey difficult for me to follow up some kind meaningful discussions for the forum and this thing just dey piss me off. So I no know if na only me dey observe this problem wey dey disrupt my ability to follow up better discussions, if not, abeg wetin I fit do to stop those notifications?

I don’t know if this topic has been discussed before, if so please pardon me. Within the past few years, the world of gambling has indeed undergone lots of evolutionary stages which has potentially made quite a significant impact on the world of gambling. It is no long news how greatly the emergence of Virtual Sports betting have immensely influenced how people spend their leisure time in gambling and many believe that this has also contributed a lot to the increasing rate of gambling addiction amongst several gamblers. Hence the purpose for this thread, do you believe that virtual games are more addictive than the traditional real life games? Or the opposite.
[Edit] Virtual Sports Gambling, otherwise known as e-sports betting, refers to betting and wagering on some sort of simulated and virtual sports events that are generated by some sort of computer algorithm and offer various types of betting options, almost like the real life sports events.
Virtual games has in multiple occasions proven to be a digital trap to many gamblers, it has completely transformed the world of gambling as it offers immersive and captivating experiences to gamblers around the world. Many believe that Virtual games are indeed more addictive than the traditional real life games due to its qualities and characteristics such as.
1. INSTANT REWARDS: Due to most gambler’s impatient nature, their desires for instant rewards has led them to considerably turning to virtual games as a more preferable option compared to the real life games, research shows that this often releases dopamine in a gambler, thereby encouraging gamblers to play continuously. 2. ESCAPISM: As we already know, the more time a gambler spends on gambling, the more the chances of getting addicted, and we know that one thing the Virtual world is best at is offering an escape from the real world, thereby leading players to spend more time immersed in the game. This and several other characteristics of the Virtual games has the potential of leading gamblers into addiction. Do share your opinion on what you think, are you also of the opinion that Virtual games are more addictive tha real life games, considering the fact that real life games has its own Hidden addictions too.

As one of the low-ranking members of this honourable Bitcointalk community, I've noticed a very disturbing trend. Newbies and other low ranked members are constantly taking offense when a High ranked member tries to correct their mistakes or offer guidance and it's so fucking annoying when I bump into such threads where a newbie or other low ranked members claim to be bullied or constantly picked on. They seem to think that their feedback is a personal attack, rather than a genuine attempt to help them improve.
I wish to make it pretty clear to us, being a high ranker isn't easy. They've worked so hard to earn their status, and they know what it takes to succeed. So Whenever they offer feedback, it's not because they're trying to bully or intimidate us. It's because we want to see others succeed, so I personally view newbies making such claims of being bullied by a High ranker as the greatest aspect of disrespect and this misconceived idea needs to be corrected.
Instead of appreciating the guidance of the High rankers, newbies often get defensive and accusatory. They claim they're being "bullying" or that they're being "too harsh". Newsflash mates, constructive criticism isn't bullying. It's called growth.
If we newbies can't handle a little bit of criticism, then maybe we're not really cut out for this online community thing. The High Rankers are not here to coddle fragile egos or hold hands. They are just here to give their experience and knowledge to us for us to gain from, and use the knowledge to groom ourselves, enhance our skills and strive to be the best.
So, newbies, listen up: if you cannot stand the heat, then get out from the kitchen. And high rankers, keep doing what you're doing because y'all are making a difference, one correction at a time and your efforts are very much acknowledged and appreciated.
Let's all be guided.

Bitcoin today has become a technology enjoyed by so many, due to its underlying benefits to mankind today. Although different people has different perspectives of what bitcoin really is, some view it as a store of value, some means of exchange, some a way to facilitate their transactions, some know it for its decentralized nature and its transparency. But what's more important is that even with divers viewpoints and perspectives, Bitcoin since its creation till date has been really beneficial to mankind and society in divers ways, and yet not everyone who enjoy these benefits of Bitcoin knows how it all began. Y'all fasten your seatbelt while we go on a little historical rollercoaster ride.
THE FIRST TRANSACTION
On the 12th day of January, 2009, the first ever Bitcoin transaction was made, and this has went down as a revolutionary event in the history of cryptocurrency because that when it all started. On the month of October 2008, the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto published Bitcoin's whitespace, where he promised to give the world a decentralized digital currency that would operate solely on its own without the interference of intermediaries like the bank or other Centralized financial institutions. It took him several months to develop this awesome technology and after several months of development, the Bitcoin Network was finally ready and was launched on the 9th of January 2009, and he mined the first block which was named the Genesis Block.
And then 3 days after the launch, Satoshi Nakamoto initiated the first ever Bitcoin transaction by sending 10 Bitcoins to a programmer who's name was Hal Finney, an enthusiast and also the one who had the same innovative spirit as Satoshi Nakamoto and also collaborated with him in the development of the amazing technology. This first transaction was to test the functionality of the bitcoin network, but it appears that wasn't the only purpose that first transaction served because it went down in the history of Cryptocurrency as the beginning and emergence of a decentralized P2P electronic cash system. This 10 BTC transfer was recorded on the bitcoin Blockchain, a decentralized ledger where all transactions made on the network are being stored and the transaction's block number was 170, and it indeed was marked as a historical event in the history of Cryptocurrency.
The Block 170 has also went down in the history of cryptocurrency as a symbol of Bitcoin's humble beginning as well as it's potential for growth. Bitcoin today can be seen as more than just a digital payment system but has several other benefits to mankind, with millions of global users, Bitcoin is in fact the biggest cryptocurrency asset today with loads of benefits.

Good day Boys and Girls. I really don't know if this the right place to post this, but please forgive me if it's not. A person's browser history tells a lot of Histories about the person, his interests and his routine, as well as other aspects of his life. I was just going through my browser history today and it opened my eyes to so many things I had almost forgotten about myself, things I found really interesting in the past, but due to growth and evolution, I do not find them intriguing anymore, and being reminded of those things has its own special ways of showing you how much you've grown and advanced in your chosen field and also other areas of your life. It's just like going through some old family photos, or group elementary, high school or college photos and you can't just help but smile because you've seen how much you've grown, how far you've gone towards achieving your goal and how close you are to you goals. The reason for this thread is because I would love to share my experience about through my browser history way back to 2020 when I started this crypto Journey. I remember I'd always stay up all night just doing researches about Bitcoin and how it works, how I can become successful through bitcoin, because I've been hearing about it and didn't really understand the modus operandi of Bitcoin. I was a total newbie without anyone to guide me through the process, so I'd always research and gather lots of fact about Bitcoin. It was through one of my random researchs that I learned about this forum, on the 13th of July 2022 I registered an account but wasn't really contributing. I spent months reading threads and learning more and gathering various types of knowledge about Bitcoin but I never contributed because I'm not the kinda person that likes to engage in online community discussions or arguments, the knowledge I was acquiring from here was enough for me and has been quite sufficient to guide me through my bitcoin journey. Months after I registered the account, I left the forum for a while, while I focused on other forms of researchs about Bitcoin. My main focus has always been about the Blockchain Technology. I've been pretty curious from day one to unfold all the potentials that Blockchain Tech has at its disposal and I've learnt quite much, and on my next thread here, I'll be sharing my findings so far about the Blockchain Tech to be discussed here, so it'll be an avenue for learning for me and others who also share the same curiosity and interest as i do. So I bumped across something online that reminded me of the forum few weeks ago and I decided to revisit the Bitcointalk community and also decided to start interacting too... I just got to remember and see just how much I've grown and evolved in my bitcoin journey, and even when I'm not yet gotten to my desired destination, I'm still proud of myself because i know I've come really far and I'm very close to achieving my set goal as a Bitcoiner.
