Sentinel Bitcoin Release 2! “Orange Pilled”

Sentinel Bitcoin is back with a second release! Orange Pilled is a full DIY cold storage wallet that doubles as a showpiece and conversation starter to orange pill the people around you. This wallet consists of six different components. One main orange body (the pill), one Bitcoin logo insert, two pieces of glass, one pill capsule, and one tamper proof hologram.

The design features a hole in the side of the Bitcoin logo insert to hide the pill capsule. When completed the pill capsule will house a rolled up paper with the private key you generate. The main body piece will have “hanging marks” due to the anodization process from the manufacturer. As seen in pictures, these are small marks on one side of the piece.

The DIY aspect of this wallet includes a few decisions on the owners end. The two decisions come into play with the tamper proof hologram and the direction you insert the Bitcoin logo piece. As for the tamper proof hologram you can place it directly on the orange body piece in any location you like as seen in the pictures or you can cover the hole with the tamper proof hologram. If you decide to leave the hole uncovered by the hologram (which I believe is preferable for this reason), when the piece is fully sealed by the glass you will be able to angle the whole piece so that pill capsule slides out a little bit ultimately hitting the inside wall of the orange body blocking it from fully falling out (see pictures below) which can then be angled back to slide it in hiding the pill again. The next decision comes when you place the Bitcoin logo insert into the main orange body. You can place it with the Sentinel Bitcoin Logo (SB) on the front side or on the back side depending on your preference. Placing the SB logo on the front side allows the tamper proof hologram to go on the back side in the same position for a clean look.

****The glass will need to be attached with glue. I will attach one piece of glass before shipping unless specifically asked not to. The glue I have found to work well is two very small dots of Clear Gorilla Glue, one at the top and one at the bottom. I can also attach the tamper proof hologram (if placing directly on the orange body piece) upon buyer request.****

Hello, this is an update post on the status of Sentinel Bitcoin. I originally posted these pieces for sale as a fully completed art piece/functioning wallet for a small amount to grow in over time if the buyer wished to do so. After the post it was clear that the market was for DIY due to the safety of key creation. Maybe being a little too anxious I had already fully assembled all the wallets before listing them for sale. After the feedback I had made the decision to try to convert them back to DIY. The problem with this was that the majority of the attempts resulted in a chunk of glass in one of the corners that is extremely difficult to remove without fully damaging the piece. All these pieces are now unusable unless I find a solution. (See example pictures below).

I would love to continue making these and offer different designs as DIY pieces only but I am at a standstill with this set for now. I don't think it will be possible to convert this set back to DIY so I plan to continue selling them as the fully completed version. If successful I will move forward with DIY pieces only. If anyone is interested in a completed version please PM me. These were created with safety as a top priority using open source code and offline devices.

With all that being said, I do have two pieces that were successfully converted back to a DIY option. The pictures below are of the actual pieces. If anyone is interested in them please PM me. Each piece will come with a piece of glass for the back, a fresh hologram sticker, a COA, a bag, and upon request I can print a QR code sticker for a buyer supplied public address.

Hello, I would like to announce a project that I have been working on for quite some time now called Sentinel Bitcoin. I have been a long time user and collector in this forum. As a result of certain pieces that I never had the ability to obtain, I have decided to design my own collectible physical wallet. I wanted a nice piece that would stand out and make a statement. I wanted it to feel luxurious and be a show piece when discussing bitcoin with friends. Lastly, I wanted it to be a functioning wallet. Taking all these ideas into account, I came up with my design for Sentinel Bitcoin. Materials include aluminum, glass, nuts, bolts, tamper proof hologram, and a QR code for the public address (written public address will also be included).

This initial design (combination of surface finish and inner design ring) will be limited to 100 pieces.
