1  Economy / Speculation / animated bid/ask history on: February 28, 2012, 10:03:50 AM
I know there is an animated version of the price history for bitcoin (although I cannot find it at the moment), I don't suppose there is an animated bid/ask history for mtgox aswell. it would at least be interesting or maybe give an insight to the tactics of buyers and sellers.
2  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Gigabyte Z68 B3 D3 MB on: February 10, 2012, 04:55:17 PM
I have this motherboard, it has 2 PCIe x16 slots and 3 PCIe x1 slots. currently i have 2 cards in the x16 slots and 1 in one of the x1 slots via extenders, all can be seen in the OS.

if i plug one via extenders into another of the x1 slot it wont show up, i.e. 3 not 4. any idea why this would be? can you only use a certain number of slots at the same time? any help would be appreciated

4  Other / Beginners & Help / GPU fan noise on: July 20, 2011, 10:20:10 PM
Just wondering what everyones experiences are with the fan noises of graphics cards

I have 3 different types

A sapphire 5770 which is in my HTPC which is pretty quite (hence why it is in the HTPC)

An Asus 5850 directCU which is very quite

and 3 XFX 5830 which are incredibly loud but are the most stable and clocks higher than the other cards without a voltage bump

Also any suggestions on quite ones as my wife wants me to build her a PC which I rekon I can put 2 cards in
