3  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / ¿Habrá realmente 21 millones de monedas? on: November 15, 2017, 11:39:05 AM
Si quieren ingresar y dejar algún review, os leo. [CLICK AQUI PARA LEER EL ARTÍCULO]
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Explain bitcoin and blockchain splits like I'm five on: October 24, 2017, 12:51:00 AM
Recently, I was talking with some friends and they were talking about bitcoin and shitcoins. So, in the middle of the conversation I realized that was very difficult to explain the recent events about the splits.

For instance, I know there are three models of bitcoin right now: Bitcoin (original project), Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold (coming soon). My real problem is that I don't know how to explain these divisions with clarity.

How can I explain the bitcoin current status to people in order to understand how these divisions work?  Huh Huh Huh
5  Bitcoin / Legal / Is the BTC-e shut down legal? on: July 31, 2017, 01:14:47 PM
BTC-e is Russia based exchange operator which was accused by the FinCen enforcement law authorities for money laundering and being linked with drug sales, AML and stole bitcoins from MtGox. Their press release says:

Quote
BTC-e also processed transactions involving funds stolen between 2011 and 2014 from one of the world’s largest bitcoin exchanges, Mt. Gox.  BTC-e processed over 300,000 bitcoin in transactions traceable to the theft.  FinCEN has also identified at least $3 million of facilitated transactions tied to ransomware attacks such as “Cryptolocker” and “Locky.”  Further, BTC-e shared customers and conducted transactions with the now-defunct money laundering website Liberty Reserve.

How is that a Russian-based exchange could be shut down by US authorities? What are the basis to do it?
6  Bitcoin / Legal / The legal status of Smart Contracts on: January 04, 2016, 01:36:01 PM
I was investigating the smart contracts and the possible applications in my everyday life. If I want to use it with a company (for example) I need to know how the law protect these documents.

I'm not asking about a specific country but only generically speaking. Is there any country where use the smart contract is legal per se? Or is under the law specifications the use of smart contracts?
7  Local / Servicios / Inversiones con Bitcoin y Forex - Experiencia con 1broker on: December 14, 2015, 10:25:37 PM
Buenas,

8  Local / Mercadillo / Comics digitales en español on: June 24, 2015, 02:25:19 PM

Saludos y estoy abierto a vuestros comentarios.
9  Economy / Economics / Platform to open a fund and sell shares on: June 18, 2015, 07:27:43 PM
I have an investment plan and so far is going really good. But in order to keep growing, I need to do more than a P2P loan, I want to sell shares/bonds to my investors. What platforms are available? I've heard Coinsortium.co but I looked and is offline.

Someone gave me Cryptostocks. Anyone used this? Another options perhaps?

Thanks  Smiley

11  Local / Español (Spanish) / OpenBazaar recibe una inversión angel on: June 11, 2015, 08:14:14 PM

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Difference between a Ricardian contract and other contracts in e-commerces on: January 23, 2015, 09:34:12 PM
I was reading the theoric part of OpenBazaar and frankly called my attention the somehow called Ricardian Contract which is a paper offering a new way to make business.

It's very interesting to read this, so if you read I would like to read your opinions about it.

Greetings.
13  Bitcoin / Legal / Analyzing Bitcoin juridical situtation for paper on: December 17, 2014, 12:08:47 PM
Howdy,

Recently I joined in a economic investigation forum in a national university (in Paraguay) and we talk about international economy. As for me, once they knew I was investing and testing digital currencies, they asked me to write about BTC and I did it. My first publication will be soon available and I will share with everyone. Now, as a second part of this investigation I would like to talk specifically about the legal situtation; now, for an investigation there's a need to talk specficially about one subject; I chose BitLicense. What do you guys think?

Also, I was wondering some help about your expertise in this field in order to help me finding good information about this. Don't worry about good sources because in BTC juridically speaking, I saw a small amount of papers but they also mean nothing because the one who made that, doesn't know what they're talking about.

One last thing I would like to cover is about the price. As we many know, most supported currencies have some backup when a crisis is onborad. Since BTC doesn't, how legally can we define this. How can consumer ask for protection knowing the core of Bitcoin?

Thank you for your answers! Cheesy
14  Local / Español (Spanish) / Bitcoin en Paraguay on: December 05, 2014, 07:06:59 PM
Hola,

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Destroy Bitcoin Foundation? on: November 10, 2014, 05:18:55 PM
I've been reading a lot but writing few about the Bitcoin Foundation. It seems most of you don't have a good image of this foundation, since they made a lot of mistakes.

I have three puntual questions about it and I would like to hear opinions:

1.- Is Bitcoin Foundation necessary?
(Depending what your answer 1 is)
If yes: why should we support it?
If no: why would you like to destroy it?

2.- What were the mistakes made by the Foundation? Did they do something to fix the errors?
3.- What is your alternative proposition to Bitcoin Foundation? And if it's running, I would like to know what is it?

17  Economy / Service Discussion / Careful with BTC loans on: October 20, 2014, 02:03:22 AM
I'm investing in BTCJam since April 2014 and since then I have been realizing several things about how serious are the ways in case that one loan isn't paid or the things about a fake account and sort of. Anyway, last august I decided to put my BTC in a loan agreement (BTCjam Loan No.16654) with the Creditor for a bitcoin loan in the amount of 0.00101 bitcoins at 9.0% interest every 3 days., says my Award.

I know, is a very small amount but considering that other people put almost 0.8, someone realize is not a joke and you wonder what REALLY BTCJam can guarantee;

The answer is: NOTHING[/i] and let me explain this. When someone is in default, your loan goes to a third-party which make arbitrage take care of your case and they send you an award telling you "person A didn't pay you X amount of BTC and he/she should" but the thing is, wherever the loaner is, BTCJam has no power at all to do nothing; remember they just put the platform and they deliver another company to do the arbitrage. When you think, "Ok but I can do something in order to make the company respond, in the e-mail says, (the black is mine):

Quote
The mechanics are straightforward and explained here on our website: http://www.net-arb.com/FAQ.php#Enforcement. However there are costs involved in that process that may make it impractical. The costs vary depending on several factors including geography as a main factor since court action must be filed in the debtor's jurisdiction.

It may be possible for co-creditors on a particular loan to join together to pursue collection, but you will have to contact BTCJam Support for information about possible co-creditors since the rules of arbitration prevent us from sharing personal information. We advise you to consult an attorney regarding the feasibility of undertaking any collection action before embarking on that path.
[/i]

This is a particular case because the loaner named Marchenry Hernandez (fake account and person I think) since his first message didn't say a word and...nothing. Other dates are the following:

Covina, CA 91722
United States
marcchernandez@gmail.com
https://www.facebook.com/marcchernandez
Phone: 16268234440
Driver's License D7676407

As conclusion now (YES, NOW) I realized loans with BTC are dangerous because no company (so far) can assure you nothing about your return. But if you do this either and you like to do, be careful in people which you borrow money and be aware that is a real person. I don't speak of my experience with Bitbond because they're more honest: they practically tell you if you don't get paid, we will give you all our info about the guy and do whatever you like to do and is for another post. So far, I believe these practices will have more efectiveness when the time move on and also more people still using criptocurrency.

For me is simple: CAREFUL

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is up and people are like... on: October 14, 2014, 04:50:55 PM
I've seen lot of people falling in love (again) with BTC and they're like:

19  Economy / Speculation / Who is behind the flash crash? (Part II) on: October 06, 2014, 01:49:19 AM
Again, a hugh order in Bitstamp take all of us to answer some questions and it's not about the BTC itself but the way people and institutions are taking advantages from the exchanges. First at all, I don't understand how it is possible people to freak out for some order that obviously are just smoke granade. They made a perfect scene because as far as I can see, there was some people who was selling behind the price.

In other forums, people are begin to talk (again) about several groups that is manipulating Bitcoin. I know that manipulating is very hard to do and besides the large amounts of commerces accepting BTC make the price go down becuase there is everytime less speculation.

How can you explain this fall?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will BTC stop using? on: September 18, 2014, 07:18:39 PM
I've been reading people against BTC and one argument of "What Bitcoin will fall" is the subject of people who is saving their BTC expecting the price increase and then sell all.

What is going to happen when almost all the users have their BTC out of circulation and saved expecting to sell when the price increase?

Seriously, I don't think people going to stop using cryptocurrencies as a tool but I didn't answer anything becuase I didn't know what (exactly) to say. Can you help me with this?
