1  Economy / Lending / I want a 24 hours collateral btc loan. on: August 04, 2023, 03:32:15 PM
I want  24 hours collateral BTC loan.

I want to lend 0.0026BTC and I pay back 0.0030BTC

The collateral I can offer is: Dogecoin or BCH.

I know I have feedback for never ask for a loan.
But I think a COLLATERAL loan  not the same as non collateral, since a scam can't happen.
2  Economy / Reputation / Stop see alt's everywhere you look! on: July 21, 2023, 11:37:01 AM
" Unfortunately I do not have any concrete evidence but I have a strong suspicion that this user is an alt of elmanchez (u=2553198) and ps34 (u=2751022). If dealing with this user, I suggest you trust him no more than you would the other two. If in doubt, use escrow. DireWolfM14 " -

I don't care if you feel that you need to paint on my wall, go ahead and let your emotions run a riot, this "neutral-feedback drama" is so nerdy so I can only laugh.

But I can do you a favor, if you dislike me so much, let's meet and speak face to face, I show who I am and you can show the forum that you actually can back up your worlds.

Yes this is how I talk to myself

4  Economy / Gambling / Where should I play? Asking for recommendations. on: July 14, 2023, 10:48:26 PM
Hello, I been a long time sportsbetting player and have using Stake the last two years, I almost only play sportsbetting, but sometimes I can play maybe Slots & BJ to.
Sine it's impossible to win on Slots & BJ on Stake.. its not an option, but since they had their good monthly bonus so I always got back some money is the reason I did choose and was loyal to Stake.
Now when its more important for them to have Drake streaming and "throwing away money" then give back to their customers I am gonna stop play there and start a journey on another website.
(Since now everything is nerfed on the website I cant even call Stake for a online casino anymore)

Since I been member here for couple of months, you see many sportsbetting website using this "KYC argument" when players want to cash out big winnings, so I don't want a casino that allow me to gamble and deposit but not withdrawal my earnings, be honest and you will get honestly and loyalty from me as a customer.

So now I am asking all people on the forum, where do you play and do you recommend me to play there to? (You can link affiliate is totally OK for at least me) but be honest in your intentions!
I am not a high roller, but I play quite a lot monthly...
5  Economy / Reputation / Are "we" decide who's gonna be on DT list? on: July 10, 2023, 06:24:42 PM
I am sorry for another topic about DT and Feedback stuff, but its a thing I don't exactly understand

I been thinking of a thing some days and maybe it is possible to read about it here on the forum already but then I have missed it. Sorry!
But about the trustsystem and this "DT list" how does it works when admin or whoever chooses who that gonna be on the list?

For example: If I trust member A & B and they already are on the DT list their feedback will be shown to me, so then its no reason for me to add them to my specific trust list. Right?
..OR should I add them to my trust list anyway because two people that I think have good judgment will get more likely to be in the DT list? (Since I seen you can get removed or added on the DT list all the time)

EDIT: Got enough answers to understand how it works, thanks for all replies (locking the thread to avoid spam)

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Whats going on with Bitcoin Cash BCH? on: June 26, 2023, 07:11:44 PM
BCH is going up insane at the moment, I just found it out like 2-3 days ago that it had go up then it was like 40% last 24 hours.
I founded it rare that a common crypto currency go up that much in such so short time. I have never owned any BCH until a couple of days ago I bought some.
Then today when I logged in to see how much is was worth it had go up 16.11% last 24 hours!

"Bitcoin Cash Price Jumps to One-Year High Fueled by Spiking Social Interest, Exchange Support
With today’s 17% gain, BCH has now more than doubled in the week since it was listed on EDX Markets, a new crypto exchange backed by financial heavyweights."

Up around 100% last month.
Up around 67% last five days.
Up around 18% last 24 hours.

Last 24 hour when BTC and other currencies have got minus, BCH just shining like never before.  Smiley
Why this is happening is of course impossible to say, but maybe should we learn something about this for the future, i will check this up for the close future.  Smiley

8  Economy / Reputation / What should I do if I think somebody soon will scam someone? on: June 19, 2023, 06:07:18 PM
Hello.

If I am almost positive that a person on this forum soon will scam somebody, what should I do?
The problem is that the person has not scammed anyone yet! But I am pretty sure it's just a matter of time.

The account is a newbie account, so of course won't a person that know how this forum works fall for a scam.
But its still bad if a new user get scammed in my opinion.

Not long time ago he (thechin0s) scammed another person (newbie).
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452318.msg62226312#msg62226312

If people look this message : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452318.msg62230136#msg62230136
This person have done this before with many other alts.

thechin0s: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3506957
I think this is thechin0s new account:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3554014 - Madhatters.

Why?
- Same day and time thechin0s got accused for scamming Madhatters showed up.
- And when I look around this Madhatters seems to be able to offer people many things. He answer in many many threads where people is looking to buy stuff.
- They talk the same if you look how their messages.
- From same speaking country
- thechin0s  have sent two merits to Madhatters for random posts.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5447572.msg62259924#msg62259924
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452484.msg62255417#msg62255417

I don't have 100% proof but I think its kinda obvious that this is the same person, of course I can be wrong then I will apologize and remove this instantly.

What should I do? Just leave it? It looks like he have done a lot of scamming on this forum and it would be great if that ended.
Since Madhatters has not scammed anyone yet it's wrong to give any negative feedback, but I want people to be aware and careful.

UPDATE 19/07-23

Now MadHatters got his first feedback, it's negative and a bit strange. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3554014

Seems to have some kind of been with a Full member that in his feedback got accused for some kind of account selling/buying.

Post-Cosmic just did (the one that gave him the feedback)

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC CHANGED MY LIFE - Crypto investor? on: June 18, 2023, 02:36:25 PM
Hello dear forum friends, let me tell little bit about my bitcoin story.

- First time I ever crossed ways with bitcoin was in 2019.

I was in a country for holiday and had lost my wallet and passport, so I was in urgent need of some cash. My family could not send me any money online (at this time I did not know about bitcoin)
BUT.. maybe i don't remember but I had some hundreds of dollars in my PayPal account, so I asked around if anyone wanted to trade PayPal for cash. (People thinking i was a retarded robber maybe  Grin)
Anyway.. When I realised it was impossible i went back to my hotel room and open Google and brain storm and looking all online "How to change PayPal to cash instant".... But only came up to scam webiste's at least what I thinking in the time... Then after an hour I did find out localbitcoins and at that time, my life was gonna to take a huge positive change.
I had a copy of my passport in my phone so with that and do a selfie i created an account on LCB.
Then I checked it out and looked the offers and I was so nervous and skeptical about this  Grin. Anyway! I find somebody that sold BTC with PayPal so I started there.
I bought my first bitcoin ever (for the reason to get cash in a later stage) Everything went smooth, I paid he released and both was happy.
Now my next problem to get the BTC to cash in the country I was in (Thailand).. After just a couple of minutes I find a lot of people buying BTC with the offer "Cash at ATM".
It works like this I open a trade from his offer, I go to the ATM and put in a code and got my money then I release the BTC.
I was so nervous the first time and thinking it will never work  Grin, But it did! I had my cash now and all my panic problems solved. Thanks to bitcoin & localbitcoins.
Thanks to this when I looked around the website I saw the opportunity to actually make money from BTC with "buy for one price sell for another"
I started my "buy&sell BTC" carrier and it went amazing, i started to get quite huge profit relativity fast.
But... I still wasn't in a happy place in life, drank a lot of alcohol, used drugs and was generally not happy and in a dark place, i was just out from prison 2019 and was living my life like its no tomorrow.
And so it did go on until like a year ago, when I decide to stop drink alcohol and using drugs and focus on build up my life and get in touch with my family in a good way again.
So I did...I started to save a lot of money and had a lot of money over now when I did not drink or use drugs. (I been always making good money - but ending up spending it very fast)

I signed up on the forum this year in February and since then I have bought BTC and some other currency's that I store and never touch at any time. I just letting it grow.
Why did I not invest earlier? Because I wanted to understand BTC and crypto currency more before I invested money in it, and this forum is a great way to actually do that.
(THANK YOU TO ALL MEMBERS HERE) - For helping me answer all questions even if them have sounded stupid.  Kiss Kiss Kiss
Anyway.. since February I have started to invest and keep the BTC i earn from my p2p-trading profit instead of selling it and get cash.

With that said. I have bitcoin to thanks for so much. I am happy with my life today, me and my family are much closer and happier and I have a good economy and it all is because of bitcoin!
Thank you bitcoin for giving me this opportunity.

So how look my portfolio look today?
BTC       - worth of 13.200:-
USDT     - worth of  4.800:-
DODGE   - worth of 3.740:-
SOLANA  - worth of 1.760:-
The amount is not in US DOLLARS its DKK.

This is how much i have in my portfolio today.
The more important is the thing that I started my invest journey. The portfolio grows in value every month  Smiley
I know USDT is probably not the invest currency to go, but I bought some because of avoid the problem I had with BTC transfer that happen like a month ago when the fee's was so high.  Smiley

Do I miss some "need to have currency"? or have missed something else?
All tips are welcome!

But one thing I can promise you all, that my BTC/CRYPTO-Journey has just begin and I will go much deeper in this and learn and explore a lot more.
Im still a rookie in the game  Grin

13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Minepi real or fake? on: June 05, 2023, 11:21:29 AM
Hello forum I would ask for your opinion in one thing.

My friend invited me to use https://minepi.com a couple of days ago.
And I checked it out a bit, but really did not understand the thing.

He told me he this:
"Pi is now valued at around 24$/Pi, and will be trade able on Binance soon ! So even if you only mine 1 a day on your mobile that's over 700$/month for no work. Get mining, and get your family on it !"

"A crypto you mine using your phone. I have been doing it for 4 years, and now have quite an amount. It costs nothing. Just use the link to download the app and click once a day to keep mining. It started as an alternative currency for transactions in an alt network, but they are going full crypto now. There are millions of users..."

When I asked how he cashed out the earnings he said "you can cash out once the main net is up. It was planned for 2024 but the coin is doing well so it will be sooner."

For me it looks way to good to be true but I don´t know anything about it. What I for sure know is that my friend don´t trying to fool me in anyway, but maybe he have get fooled and doing this?
For me it sounds to good to be true when you mining with your phone fore free you just need to open the app and click on something once a day and you will be rewarded around $700 each month?!

It really looks legit and everything but it sounds very good to make that amount for such a less effort. Many people in the world does not even make this money for a months work!
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / 63$ Loan defaulted by [Rohan Kotkar] on: June 04, 2023, 07:52:08 AM

25th April 2023 did i lend out  $55 to Rohan Kotkar https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2690537
He also asked me first if he could borrow $100 but I refused and said that $55 is what I can do. (Why just $55? Because I only dealt with money I could afford to lose)
Here is proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5445759.msg62144289#msg62144289

He promised to pay back $61.38 not later then 10/05/2023.
When it was time to pay back i had to message him like "Hello you gonna pay back??", the day after he told me he need more time to pay back and wanted to extend the loan, i said ok no problem you can get two weeks more and then the new amount was $63.38.

...Then when it was time to pay back $63.38 he was in silence and I had to spam him on TG to get a reply that was

"I'm really sorry for being irresponsible. There are some things which came out of nowhere and my salary went like nothing. Please be assured, I will payback the amount no matter what.
You can also add up the interest until & unless I pay the whole amount.
Once again, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience"

And that´s okay.. but then I have see he is online on TG and ignoring me, he also have zero interest in solve this.. he not reply to me or coming up with any kind of solution.

I also offered to him that he could pay back like $20 monthly or something like that, but no reply.

I am pretty sure I will never see this money again, and that´s fine its not an big amount.
But now are everyone else warned to not deal with this user at all! (at least for the moment)

Why did I lend out money to a person that just had come back and been inactive?

Yeah I know I did take a risk, but I did not think you could be such a loser so you fooled anyone for $55 (excuse my language) when you had a good standing account that has been around for many years.
But I was wrong!

Please if you gonna reply like "How stupid could you bo lend him money? Blame yourself blabla" don´t reply.
I know its my fault, i know the risk i took. and I hope he will change his mind and pay back. but as it looks now, he has ignored me!
But it would be wrong of me if i did not warn the other people on the forum.

ROHAN IF YOU PAY BACK OF COURSE I REMOVE THIS AND REMOVE THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How much does Bitcoin affect other cryptocurrency? on: May 11, 2023, 08:54:46 AM
Hello. A newbie is wondering some stuff   Grin

I am follow an account on Instagram that shows how much bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency´s are worth every 24 hours. and something I have noticed is almost every time bitcoin goes up many other also go up.
And when bitcoin goes down many other also go down, of course this don´t apply everyday and all currency´s.

I upload a picture of two days how it shows ( https://imgur.com/YYJRX7F this is two different days and it looks like this)

My real question maybe is. If cryptocurrency´s follow each other. whats the difference if you invest in BTC or ETH or USDT for example. If you invest in all three $1000 each.
How will it look at each invest after example 12 months? I understand its impossible to predict something like this, but some guideline.
If they follow each other very often with +/- then the profit/loss should not be a huge difference?

Are cryptocurrency holding each other hand in hand in someway or are they independent. It seems that they share something with each other that I don´t know anything about.

I am far away from an expert on this but I am sure many on this forum is and gladly hear what you guys & girls thinks about it.

Wish you the the best.
Best regards CC!
16  Economy / Reputation / TheChin0s = SCAMMER? on: May 11, 2023, 03:31:54 AM
Everyone should be careful to do any trades with TheChin0s- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3506957 at least for the moment.

Couple of time ago he asked for loans on the forum, he also wanted to trade $500 with me. - I don´t see anything wrong with this... But when I put that together with what happens now.

1. Here OP says he got scammed by TheChin0s : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5452233.msg62226257#msg62226257

2. Then when I asked TheChin0s about this in his thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5451886.40
He straight away locked the thread instead of explaining what have happened.

So he had a opportunity to explain the situation in his thread, but choose instead to go silence and lock the thread.

Then I saw on his profile he got some negative feedback..

I don´t want to throw water on somebody and be wrong or create any kind of drama or be negative & I can gladly remove this if I am wrong.
I only want people to be careful IF trading with him before he have explained the situations.

I haven´t and wont give TheChin0s any negative feedback since I don´t have any proof of a scam, but I just think its very suspicious everything, so people should be aware until some kind of explanation have come out.

I do this for the safety on this forum.

Wish you the best.
Best regards CC!
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Paxful back up and running on: May 06, 2023, 11:43:20 PM
I just logged in at Paxful and saw they were back up and running again.
I wonder what they have changed or solved so they can be in business again?

So now "they" have both paxful & noones up and running, to be fair if paxful is at it was when they shutted down imo noones is a better and much cheaper option to use.
Yes everything is a bit strange, i probably won´t go back to paxful if they open up again its a better option out there at the moment.

This is what shows when you log on to Paxful since yesterday maybe.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I just found out something about BTC transactions on: May 05, 2023, 12:10:28 AM
Last week i downloaded Exodus wallet to my phone, to keep some BTC!
My plane was to send BTC when I had some over from other wallets sometimes every week.
I have made ten deposits there between $10-$25 (total amount 0.00470781BTC $136.01)
Today I wanted to send some BTC to another of my wallets and I saw the transaction fee was $31 (0.00115BTC) of course did i not send any money when I saw that.
I already knew that the transactions fee is very high at the moment! But this was way to high so I asked support why this was so...
And I got a very interesting answer that i had no qlue about and never seen before.

So basically if you have a BTC wallet and you receive BTC worth of $10 x 20 then you have BTC worth of $200.
If you later want to send them to another wallet, it will cost you more then if you had receive $200 x 1 instead.

I will copy/paste the answer I got from Exodus support after my question to them about the high transaction fee.

"
Hi ______,

Thanks for reaching back out to Exodus Support. Please allow me to step in for ______, who is currently offline.

______, I've read your previous messages and I can see you are being charged really high network fees.

After taking a look at the address you have kindly provided, I understand what is happening. Let me explain, it's going to be a little technical:

______, Bitcoin is a UTXO based asset. UTXO stands for Unspent Transaction Output, and each UTXO refers to each of the payments you have received in your BTC address.

This UTXO model is based entirely on individual transactions, grouped in blocks. We can compare this to people holding certain amounts of cash.

A user that holds 50 BTC might be in control of a single UTXO worth 50 BTC, or a combination of UTXOs (payments) that add up to 50 BTC.
Comparing it to cash, if a user has $50, he might hold a single $50 bill or a combination of smaller denominations of bills and coins.

Just as it is harder to count $50 with a combination of smaller denominations of bills and coins, synchronizing your address to the blockchain becomes much harder when transactions happen more frequently.

Therefore, when you have several payouts received, the Bitcoin miners need to do more work to process your transaction. Then, transactions with more data (such as more UTXOs) are more expensive.

How does this relate in your case?

After looking at your address in the blockchain, it looks like you have 10 recent incoming transactions since April 27, 2023, that you have not spent. In other words, you have 10 UTXOs that altogether make up 0.00470781 BTC ($136.01 at the time I wrote this message). You can see your address in the blockchain here:

    https://mempool.space/address/____________________________________

Unfortunately, transferring these funds is going to be more expensive than usual, simply because of the fact that your transaction would be more complicated to process than any other regular transaction.

If you wait until the fees go lower, the price may be down too, but it's likely gonna be an expensive transaction either way, considering the number of UTXOs you have.

You can try using the custom fees feature and choose your own transaction fees:

How to enable custom fees for Bitcoin?

However, if you set a really low fee, the miners will likely ignore your transaction and process the ones that paid more Sad This would make your funds stuck for a long time until you pay a higher fee.

______, for the future and to prevent any problems when sending BTC, I suggest avoiding receiving many small payments, and instead, it would be a better idea to receive larger payouts not so frequently.

I hope this information is helpful! Please let me know if you need further assistance or if there's anything that you're unsure about.

Kind regards,
______

"

Thanks to Exodus for explaining so good!

EDIT:
But is this also if you want to send for example $15 once. Then this should not be a problem since it dont need to take money from more then "one deposit/transaction"? since atleast one deposit was $25
19  Economy / Exchanges / Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 04, 2023, 03:20:21 PM
The Bitcoin network transaction fees are currently at the highest in nearly three years since July 2021. This indicates that there's a strong demand for the Bitcoin blockchain network.

Last weeks have been a bit crazy, with insane fees one day and very low fees another day. I use Exodus and Blockchain I also got a wallet at Noones (old Paxful)
If i want to send $100 from Exodus its $30 in fees. almost the same at Blockchain a bit lower i think around $20.
But if i want to send from Noones it only cost $0.50. Why is this?

I know Noones just open their business and what to attract customers. But if they are available to have that low fees why is not Exodus or Blockchain?
With fees like this its not worth to use bitcoin as payment method at all.

Do you guys/girls think this will stabilize soon or will we see more like this, with normal fee´s one day and extremely high the next day?

EDIT

Seems to go back to some kind of normal, slow but on the right way.

Unconfirmed  303,547 TXs

Low Priority
46 sat/vB
$1.77

High Priority
51 sat/vB
$1.97

But it goes up and down very fast, but the unconfirmed tx´s go down more and more for time pass by.
I would say it would be more or less back to normal in 48 hours or less.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is going down day after day right now on: April 22, 2023, 04:21:42 PM
Why is BTC going down like it does the last days? Straight down.. Down around 10% (?)
From around 30K to around 27K.

Do you guys think it will turn the other way soon and go straight up again or will it keep going down?
I thinked this year would be a good BTC year and i still think it will be! But I did not see this coming to be honest.
