1  Other / Beginners & Help / Funds dies when sent to inaccessible addresses. on: June 26, 2025, 09:18:37 AM
There are moments we have regular benefactors and those we may have business transactions on a regular basis with who facilitates on executing transactions without informing the other party first and take them unaware while sends the funds probably could be a usual and successful.

But while the receiver was not informed before the sender sends the funds, there are times we ends up sending the funds into one of those abandoned accounts due to insecurity activities in the Wallet address or those inaccessible Wallet addresses due to lost of seed phrases where the funds there are forever be unclaimed due to inaccessibility of the account.
So there is always a need to request for the recipient (s) to either send you their wallet address or ask to confirm if you can send to the usual address you may have transacted with the person.
This is to avoid getting your funds stuck and we know in the Crypto network especially in the non custodian wallet providers once you have lost you seed phrase and lost access to your wallet, you have lost it all forever.

This happened between an uncle and I during my school days who sent money in my dormant back account.
I am motivated to say this today after a friends cousin recently sent him Bitcoin worth of $6K from abroad and hoped was going to be an exciting surprise to him but as it is, the money has become a waste because the guy has already trashed and forgotten that wallet address the fund was sent to.
The recipient should be blamed too because benefactors or regular
business partners are ought to be notified in cases like that because funds can be sent without your notice at anytime.

How necessary do you find this post?
2  Economy / Gambling / Have some jackpot fun. (Predict to win) on: June 20, 2025, 10:48:07 PM

Okay friends... Let's catch some fun  Grin
I Will be displaying some jackpot games and you will have to predict the 12 listed games currently before hitting the jackpot.
You pick the games while I place the bet at my end here. So you will be risk free since I am betting with my own funds.  Grin

So I will pick 5 users predictions in a random and go by their predictions without taking any of the decision on my own.
Each bet will be wagered @ #100 ($0.064). So no double chancing so that you don't increase the minimum wager value at the $0.064. that means you are only entitled to make a single decision per game.
Example
Correct Event (teams)     1(Home)            X(Draw)           2(Away)

1              USA
               China                         1.8                    3.5                     2.5
.
.
.
.

So you pick one option either Home, Draw or Away. I won't accept user picking more than one option.
So whoever I pick picks will be quoted following proof that I have actually placed the bet as predicted for transparency sake. Don't also forget to keep the games on track to know your confidence.  Grin

Here are the games and compulsory you pick and prediction 12 correct outcome of the games before hitting the jackpot. Though there are still unmentioned prizes for 10 and 11 correct predictions which is made known at the showcase of the outcome.

Note: We have less than 15 hrs 20 mins for the week to wrap up counting from when I made this post. Sorry it came late. Just needed to make the weekend fun.  Grin

Just for the fun so let's ride on... Meanwhile... The jackpot value of #102,530,890 is an equivalent of $6,561,976.96.
And if we are lucky to win, 10% of the profit will be awarded to the predictor and will be sent in the Bitcoin. Don't be skeptic, they don't pay in Bitcoin but I will convert it myself.

However, I remain in position to make changes and gladly Will be updating this thread weekly according to the weekly events.
Don't even bother asking the site name.

Edit: ...
We have less than 8 hours for the week to closed and still we have poor turn up but I will go with the available number of predictors before the time elapses.

3  Economy / Speculation / BTC to hit $600K by 2028 and Passes positive energy to hit $1.5M by 2030 on: June 16, 2025, 09:29:14 AM
Market expert analysts reveals that Bitcoin will experience a $600K
market price by 2028
pointing on what would prompt the impact which are basically focused on the accumulation strategies and long term hodling of Michael Saylor agressive continuity investing more on the Bitcoin market, also the fuse of the Blockchain decentralizations given the community users the privilege of self funds custodian while resisted authoritative regulatory impulsion.

Also pointed that even as gold being unlimited supplies, it could still acquire a market cap of $23 trillion. Which means Bitcoin as a limited supply assets of 21M only existed Bitcoins will do better.

Given reference to the significant fall of Bitcoin to $75K in an average beginning of 2025 and lather acquired the positive energies which after the surge to the ATH, it could still hold sustainable values on the range of $100K which as an informal resultant has proved to how store of values the Bitcoin really is which in cordial acknowledgement, has ignited the governments involved on enhancing the regulatory conditions whereas, they (government) oversighted Bitcoin a resourceful hedge for valuable reserve which then contributing to the mainstream whereas encourages macro investors also Investing and hold on it.

With all categorized energies driving these force is why I concur with Michael Saylor that Bitcoin price target from $1.5 million to $2.4 million by the end of 2030. That is believed to be achievable with the force peaked from neighboring peak at 2028 when Bitcoin will be $600K.

This speculation is aimed to predict that investors buying and or hodling even at the current bull market can as well make significant profits in the future even before we get to the next bull market that may give an exciting phase for investors. In other words proves how valuable sustainability Bitcoin could be
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / The more you nurture a strong emotion is the more you increase your risks on: June 09, 2025, 10:53:26 AM
In gambling the more you struggle to control your emotions on expensive looses and keep gambling is the more you nurtures your state of mind to grow harder and undertake more risky decisions.
And where self-control is not adhered is the point of becoming vulnerable to addition and think it is just a passion of us and feel encouraged to keep gambling as long as we bets with affordable amount to loose.

Therefore, same strong hearted built emotions is the one optimizing our risk factors to increase our risk decisions by increasing the rate of stake values contrarily to our "safe budget plans" While it dangers is ignored.
And just by that, you might likely get used to loosing without being bothered and until you realizes the hazards on the ongoing, your inability to be reformed conciously becomes Sorry... because you must have lost you mind and still believe you are in charge of emotions.

So if I may ask, is there some worth negative potential threats in nurturing your emotions to grow stronger just so you don't panic over the outcomes on the game of luck or chances than being just concious of our gambling lifestyles?

6  Other / Beginners & Help / WhatsApp now the new platform targeted to steal users privacies and funds. on: May 26, 2025, 08:55:31 AM
On-line fraudulent and hacking schemes is getting so alarming these days as future scamming schemes becomes unimaginable to us.
The awareness of how sophisticated Links and OTPs has been threatful to our devices as the most tricky way of scammers getting access to our devices to steal our private data's and funds has gone outdated and now comes to where downloading just an image through WhatsApp now becomes the new formate.
WhatsApp has now become a targeted platform because it is known most common means people feel comfortable to communicate and shares informations due it usability and end-to-end encrypted system.

As report to this new trend says, "a resident in Jabalpur who was sent an image by an unknown source (number) has already been victimized with this concept loosing about ₹2 lakh after downloading the malicious image and then it installed the malware tool in the victims device to do the "data exfiltration job" while victim have no ideal if such software is existed in his device".

Meanwhile... Cybersecurity engineers has warned Whatsapp users to exercise "safe online behavior" by not taking just an image too common as you may have think it won't be harmful since it is not accompanied with links or other conventional strategies that we only finds suspicion to override our device and wallets Privacies.

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Self exposure to insecurities on: May 23, 2025, 08:10:51 AM
A friend of mine who we started this crypto race together over trusted his security agency friend by telling him about how he is being Invested on Bitcoin and how he makes daily profits on trading and while that of investment is set for his retirement, the trading provides him the regular expenses.
I asked but why being so transparent to this guy? He said... He is my childhood friend and he has always been there for me when I have issues that has to be resolved my an official or agencies from the State or federal level.
He further said he told him about his engagement on Bitcoin just in case he has a query in that the public or even the security agencies do figures people who participates on Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are suspicion of being scam.
So he (my friend) was like an already made an open entry statement about his engagement with crypto on or before (just in case) he is being probed of illegality so, his friend can always stand to defend him after early notice.

To me, he exposed himself to danger because if we can trust someone for not to had hurt us all the while, some other problems we might encounter in other form might be projected by that same looking innocent friend while the act is being carried by another person and still, that your friend will pretend standing by you while extracting informations from you.
Same time he will be feeding it to the "pawn" or "fall guy" and that means, victimizing you will be easier for them preferably the friend.

So we can imagine if that agency friend decides to compromise the trust, I guess he can easily get his friend on trap if not physically attack to steal his funds, can as well target on scamming him in an undisclosed friendly strategy.
Moreover Bitcoin is not illegal in my country which I think was unnecessary of my friend exposing his alignment with Bitcoin rather scamming is just being too rampant which as the course of online scamming, digital investors are sighted as one of the scammers especially involved with decentralized crypto Blockchains.

At this juncture, I want us to look at the potential risk by which this my friend has come to expose himself.
Or is there a smart move of him you can commend of him on that?
8  Economy / Exchanges / Coinbase exchange got hacked on: May 17, 2025, 05:32:26 PM
I hope to be pardoned if this information has been brought here before because I have not seen such across the forum and I think it is important sharing it here at by learning about it just recently.

It is another attack on the centralized exchange as hackers has succeeded in hacking the Coinbase the most dominance American crypto exchange.

They hackers have demanded for $20M to be paid in Bitcoin as ransom and threatened that if the exchange fails to comply with the demand, users of the platforms data's will be revealed but the exchange is taking it on controversy refusing to comply with the hackers demands instead, the exchange is only willing to reward the said amount $20M to any source that can lead to the capture of those scammers and bring them forward for conviction.

So do you think the exchange is taking the right decision like toying with it community users Privacies with their stance or suggests they are on the right decision?

For me, I literally don't know of what benefit would it profit those scammers by revealing the exchange users data's.
Perhaps Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is not illegal so I wonder what legal issues those scammers think they would bring to the community by releasing those data except to keep the public aware of individuals holding on the digital assets which apparently would optimize physical and online threats that would basically put those vulnerables (Coinbase users) on insecurity tension.

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/technology/tech-news/americas-largest-crypto-exchange-coinbase-hacked-threatening-to-leak-customer-data-hackers-demand-20-million-in-bitcoin/articleshow/121192755.cms

I also tend to believe that limitation of crypto investors have deviated from keeping their funds in the centralized exchanges after several attacks on the other exchanges before this one which if so, lot of the exchange users funds would be secured basically on the fact they are holding their assets in the self custodial wallets.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Could not find by bet in my bets history on: May 04, 2025, 03:46:50 PM
I placed a future bet on the Barcelona Vs Inter Milan and Arsenal Vs PSG championship match which was played on the 29th and 30th of April, I was not bothered tracking the bet because I don't want to be tempted on the cashout odds but then, i was following up the matches live which at the end I lost it according to my prediction.

Due to the fact I played several games same week, I was glancing on my bets history for other games outcome which then prompted me to just take look on the concluded Barcelona and Arsenal games.
As the case maybe, it was my major game for the week because I wagered it with a very large amount but "I was unable to find the bet history" (Barcelona and the Arsenal) match in my bets history while recent including older games history were all there.

This strange act prompts me to bring this up here asking... If is it possible for an online gambling site to rebel it players by deleting specific bets from their bet history to avoid proof of evidence against legal cases?

Acknowledge: I lost the bet.
Note: Don't ask me what site it is because I won't tell it and as said, it was a strange one of this site and would not want to cause a demarketing for the company on this one course as far as I am aware that I lost the bet.

This incident as I may call it has also ignited me a hard experience that it is necessary to copy and safe my bet codes somewhere else if Incase such scenario reoccurs probably when I wins and the company tends to play over me but other question still stormed into my head "questioning the reliance" of the bettor in a similar case if provided the best code, what is the possibilities that the gambling site will be sincere recognizing or decodes the existence of the bet code in it site?
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / @theymos, say your mind about Satoshi's identity on: April 14, 2025, 03:44:17 PM
Question from a user I recently referred to this platform.

Here: With all the speculations about the claims of revealing (unsealing) of Satoshi's Nakamoto's identity and the arguments in the forum, why not we just direct this questionable request of Satoshi's identity to Theymos since he is one known users who started this bitcointalk forum together with Satoshi as parent pioneers before platforms the hidden gem?

Who knows if there had been communal connections among them with probabilities to had have clue of each other as they may share same vision in the cryptography on Bitcoin and with his(Theymos) profile and influence in the platform being created by Satoshi himself?

The platform operates on pseudonymous users security identity  from it origin which Theymos may not be privileged to know Satoshi as thought.

With no doubt, even some old folks here may be accommodating  same thought as this questionable discretion for long now. Perhaps it got me a deep thought Which would be better come from the horses mouth.

Dear @Theymos Sir, may you clear the air on your own view of Satoshi's identity?
I guess it will come as simple as "No, you don't know Satoshi". 😁.

All being seem silly, my humble apology if the thread may carry disapproval contents to you all.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / My lessons learnt in a hard way on: April 06, 2025, 11:39:28 AM
So i had a very bad and horrible experience last week 26 of March after which I rendered help to trade (exchange) Bitcoin to fiat for my cousin brother using the P2P.

How it started was that he (cousin) asked me to help him exchange value of 0.0124 of Bitcoin equivalent to $1015.9320 and approximately #1,555,583.53 in my local currency.

So I asked him where is the origin of the transaction and why can't he trade by himself? He said a friend outside the country who usually send him USD recently finds Bitcoin more convenient to send money home. And he (cousin) said he lost his documents including IDs ought to use in verifying his KYC with the exchange networks during when his apartment was blast on fire accident which I testified he actually encountered a fire outbreak in his home times ago.

After all put to considerations, i was out of sympathy offered to help which I did.
Two days after the federal security agencies came got to my doorstep and asked me to go with them to the station for interrogation.

I was really in a helpless situation as I can't explain myself out to their understanding after it was brought to me that I got involved in a fraudulent act which I got tracked through my exchange transaction which is the exchange of BTC to the fiat I help my cousin about.
But as much as I try to explain it was not making any positive move on my side.

I was asked to provide the seed phrase of the self custodial wallet I have been using to receive the Bitcoins from my victims before transferring to my exchange for further investigation.

At that point I feel doomed and almost regretted my acceptance of DeFi in the first place because I feel I have landed in a trouble of no solution.
I also thought about the aspect of the agencies getting to seize my hard earned acquired Bitcoin if I should give them access to my self custodial wallet where i have been accumulating my Bitcoin for all these years if I should have to prove to them that I am innocent.

Right about some of the agencies threatened me of going to jail but yet I was mute because at that moment, words of excuse can't help it.

While I was in their custody, I alerted my lawyer and my parent which they all rallied round to the apprehension of that my cousin and was brought to the station and was also interrogated about it all.

My savior was that he admitted that he had been involved in some few scamming people which I (myself) have not clue about which followed after I told the agencies before him that he (cousin) sent me some values of Bitcoin to trade for him. So he could not lie before me.
He confessed of using other peoples exchange wallets to trade he Bitcoins for fiat to avoid revealing himself to the public.

So with the roles of my lawyer, I was released on bailed and expected to face more investigation my car and international passport was submitted alongside as part of my conditional release.

On the process of the legal hearing, I submitted my wallet transaction histories in both my self custodial and exchange wallets.

So far so good all my acquired Bitcoins where purchased from the centralized exchanges which proves how legal I have been acquiring my Bitcoins all these while haven followed my transaction histories.

The experience will remain unforgettable because it was out of my Ignorant on process of trying to help that landed me to this bad time.
I also hope it would serve as lesson to others not to fall such victim at the course of helping others to process exchange transactions for them.

I actually find this unnecessary to be updated here on before now but because I have this feelings that some persons may have been engaging on such acts as mine and Scott free may not know the penalties when it goes contrary. So as much everyone should take note be careful when you tends to help with your crypto wallets especially one of the KYCs .
12  Other / Politics & Society / On the dialogue for cease fire, Zelensky unleash invasion on Moscow on: March 17, 2025, 01:43:51 PM
Nothing but the truth with what Donald Trump has said that the  Ukraine’s Resistance Against Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion May Not Survive Even With US Aid.
Without undermining that the US holds the world power with it military edges, Russia has do have it military equipments and strategies over the US which Donald Trump has taken into earlier informed by asking Zelensky to comply with the peace talk following his agreement with Putin because of Ukraine fails to back off with the intenses that they (Ukraine) would always lean on the US military supports, Russia will still defeat them so, there is the insight of Trump asking Zelensky to follow suit of cease fire as the Russian has also been called to order.

Just few days after Trump made the statement Zelensky accused Putin of thwarting Trump’s peace plan. So he HIT Moscow with another major drone strikes.
The attack of the Ukraine in Moscow happened even when Trumps diplomatic representative Steve Witkoff was on ground in Moscow in negotiation of the Trump's craving end of war of the Russian and Ukrainian war which has lasted over 3 years now.

I wanted us to look into this caption "Putin wanted to thwart the Trumps cease fire approach". How was the Putin intension detected by Zelensky if Putin has not realistically made the attempt as allegedly accused?
Also if to be lawfully justified, was Zelensky right or wrong of his action invading Russian while cease fire was on negotiation?
Or is the US (Donald Trump) gaming with this whole peace structures?
So much before I forget, Zelensky recently met with the crown prince of Saudi, does it mean the Ukraine government is making a turn around of aligning with the Saudi for support in place of the US since Trump has sounded not encouraging so they (Ukraine) need to source alternative for military supports Incase the US fails them.

With a deep insight i don't see this war ending soon and the response of Putin might be disasterous acknowledging their nuclear deterrence, artillery and hypersonic weapons which is some Worth reasons they are advantage of the US on hostility.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / When it involves the fiats, how do keep anonymity with our holdings? on: January 25, 2025, 07:22:19 AM
Fellow enthusiasts, I have long been thinking how can crypto users with concious measures completely stay anonymous with their holdings even when transacting with the P2P.

We know the flexibility in using the exchanges for transactions especially the P2P when buying and selling but then, we don't feel safe with it due to KYCs involved but if we considers using the non custodial platforms which does not requires the KYCs, sure it is possible to keep this anonymity but there, the P2P transactions with the non custodial platforms are only possible if the transactions are just within the exchange of cryptocurrencies with no fiats involved.

My emphasis is how to stay a full anonymous with our holding especially when buying and selling of assets.

After being thoughtful on this, it really find it hard to keep this concept a 100%
Now my question is... How can we buy or sell our Bitcoin and still keep our reality profiles anonymous when it involves the fiats to execute the transaction?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Gets logged out on my exchange wallet over & over on: December 29, 2024, 10:06:24 AM
While admitting that it is not a good approach to store your cryptocurrency on the exchanges, I am also approving it that I do still have some of by short term bitcoin portfolio hold there on the centralized exchange due to interpersonal reasons.

But along the lines, I have been noticing that when I stays a few long time before accessing my wallet app, I am Always logged out and then demands to log in again before gaining access.

Subsequently, I have not really lost a cent of my asset on this course but being honest, it is threatening why I would keep getting logged out like someone is instigating or manipulating on how to gain access to that of my wallet.

Basically I am only visiting my wallets regularly when the coinmarketcap showcases attractive market performances of the coin I am holding such as Bitcoin and when the market has not been so encouraging, I am usually off from my wallet because I love seeing my asset growing while overlooks when the market is down.

So I don't know why I am always being logged out that way but then, I am sharing this experience to let some others know that there is a high intensive of threats in holding your portfolio on the exchanges and also, note that while you are asleep. Scammers are awake troubleshooting on how to gain access to your wallet just to steal your coin.
In other means, your crypto asset is not only attractive to be stolen only when you have made a huge amount of value. Perhaps, there are conscienceless and hungry scammers who foresees even a $1 worth as something achievable.

Stay conciously and sure to store your coins in the safe custodial wallets.
15  Other / Meta / OPs should be notified when posts are to be "moved or "locked" by the moderator on: November 13, 2024, 09:29:10 PM
Would anyone agree with me that before moderator (s) should lock ones thread or moves thread to other board section, the OP should be notified on or before taking the action?
I don't mean where the OP should have to give the moderator a "go-ahead" order before the action but It should be as when our post is deleted and we are being notified about it on the message box.
That would so much create a visible awareness about our posts when moderately tampered.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Be careful of your jokes. Arsenal fan stabs Man-U fan to death on argument on: November 05, 2024, 06:15:17 PM
I know that not every game discussion has to do with gambling but it's essential to bring this up here
As gambling related events is concerned, I think it i worth bringing up here for discussion especially sports games as popular as the football.

So for the safety alert surrounding our daily sports events, I summon us a horrible football incident which supposed to be a fun discussion lead to serious argument between and Arsenal and a Manchester United fan happened in the the view center in the recent match between Arsenal and Liverpool football fan.

The Arsenal fan took the life of the Man-United fan in a mere argument that the Arsenal fan had to attack the Manchester United fan with a stick leading to the death of the Man-United fan. Arsenal fan stabs Manchester United to death

We all would agree that it takes courage at times not to loose your high temper when someone is triggering your anger in the name of football arguments? This usually occurs when you visits the football viewing centres.
We seriously need to be careful with our jokes because not everyone that maybe able to withstand moments of being defenceless or over looks a common argument and at same time you getting mocked and criticized while your team is loosing.

We just have to be careful even when we visits the physical casinos. Let us also treat cautiously with players/gamblers in the house because your meaningless talks could mean a lot to others.
17  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Be aware of Bybit exchange upgrades which may affect the P2P feature on: October 29, 2024, 04:36:05 PM

I was just processing a P2P transaction on by Bybit and I came across this upgrade notification above.
On reviewing my inputted details in order to finalize my transaction this other one below popped up as a result of refreshing my Bybit exchange app.

I included the both photos Incase of timing misunderstanding to some of us here as Africa man timing maybe concerned.
The actual African time is approximately 2:00 AM just for clarity.

One stated a date of 30-10-2024 and the other states 29-10-2024 which the system upgrade would take place.

I don't know which to go with but for now, I am not panicked and I also wanted to bring to our attention if Incase anyone may encounter some inconveniences on the exchange platform especially on the P2P feature at the specified period of time.
There is no need for panics as the platform is undergoing a system upgrade by then.
Also, the timing differences which one said the technical work would last for 30 mins and the other said 60-90 mins.

We just need to take note of this period when using the Bybit's P2P feature.
If I may ask, did anyone here noticed such notification or changes within this day 29-10-2024? Or probably we await until the other stipulated date 30-10-2024.
18  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Trust Wallet celebrates 7th year anniversary on: October 14, 2024, 12:32:20 PM
This is actually coming late but I think it is worth updated here in our Nigeria Local board regarding how far Nigeria as a nation being globally recognized in the Crypto industry to the extend of being honoured along other five regions which includes Lagos, Paris, Dubai, Bogota and Vietnam as communities connecting together with the decentralized Trust Wallet network.
Congratulations on crypto Trust Wallet as they celebrates their 7th years of service anniversaries and kudos to Nigeria as being one of the famous country in the world being appreciated by the network as a community  where the celebration anniversary also took place.

Though I came across the news just recently when I got up to my Trust Wallet app. I also withdraw any coincidence duplicates of related topic here if currently existed.
Trust Wallet 7th Anniversary Global Celebrations

If I may ask, was any of you here especially those in Lagos able to attend the the concert?
19  Economy / Economics / Increase of taxes requires more job opportunities on: October 07, 2024, 09:43:03 PM
Technically for the government to impose formats of increasing fiscal policies to the account of public funds, that should also demand reviewing of the funding liquidation that generates earnings for the individual masses because the consequences of such development is increments on tax enforcement leading to hike cost of living and while individuals faces stagnation time to survive at its course, it distabilizes the average or less citizens incomes.

Instead of the governments to create infrastructures of job opportunities to also expatiate individual source of earning opportunities to balance the economy being, they would play ignorant about this welfare of the people while technically on the mandate of just concerned in creating more wealth for themselves in disguise of public funds.

So, there should always be necessities of reviewing how the masses would fit in with new developments else the people would perish on hard labours while encountering legal extortions from their governments.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Just made up my mind that there is no betting "Strategies" other than "Lucks" on: September 26, 2024, 11:11:17 PM
The true ethics surrounded gambling is that a winning strategy that may work today is said to be by luck that the bettor was lucky to bet on the streamline at that very moment.

That is apparently to say that... If the winning streamline gets on random then following the forebeing strategy would be invalid to give winning and not until the bettor is lucky enough to catch up with the new trends would he count to win again.

The reality is that... The casinos would never reveal moments of their Privacies as a course to reveal their weakness to bettors.
So ideally, streamers who claims perfection on betting are all formats of scamming.

So I hope everyone stays uncompromised not to be turned ON of winning strategies by the so gambling streamers otherwise "scammers".
