1  Economy / Reputation / Concerns regarding JollyGood and nutildah on: August 08, 2026, 08:22:19 AM
Hello everyone,

I am aware that I am a relatively new member here and that many might side against me, but I kindly ask the community to look at the facts neutrally.

The situation began when I quoted nutildah in a thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5589786.msg67004276#msg67004276

In the following post, nutildah claimed my response was generated by Grok:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5589786.msg67004937#msg67004937

He also stated:

Have fun trying to rank up this account.

Later, while browsing the Wall Observer (WO) thread (which I didn't even know stood for "Wall Observer" at the time), nutildah posted this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg67018502#msg67018502

When Heuristic awarded merits neutrally, nutildah followed up here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg67018867#msg67018867

He then made another post targeting me:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg67019683#msg67019683

I replied to explain my stance:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.msg67020010#msg67020010

However, he created another post against me:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516.msg67021747#msg67021747

To which I responded again:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516.msg67022526#msg67022526

I am clearly inviting everyone check my post history. Check if these are written by AI.

He just gave me a neutral tag without even listening to me. Isn't this a misuse of power? I came to know in WO that he has the power to issue signature bans. I am not saying he is using it incorrectly, but if he is using it for his personal ego, will this be good for the forum?

Regarding JollyGood, he created a thread about my account here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5590543.msg67016825#msg67016825

I provided a detailed response explaining my activity gap and work routine:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5590543.msg67017115#msg67017115

In response, JollyGood stated:
Once again, it has to be noted the level of English has improved from your initial posts. As for the content of your post, that is what I expected from you.
I am not surprised you are trying to insult our intelligence, you are being dishonest because your goal is to build up the Numan467 account in order to monetise it via signature campaigns. If you know how to earn merits in WO then you definitely know how to enroll in signature campaigns.
Anyway, I read the exchange between you and nutildah therefore I will give you some advice and you should take note as it will save you a lot of time.
You may have noticed nutildah has given you a neutral tag referring to your AI posts. On that basis alone you will not be able to enroll in campaigns. As this defeats the object of your modus operandi, you are wasting your time with your Numan467 account.
You can spend the next several months trying to reach 100 merits in the hope of joining a campaign as a Full Member but as soon as that happens you will probably receive a signature ban. When that happens you will think back to this post and recall that your greed took over your common sense as I advised you to stop wasting your time.
Forget this Numan467 account and focus on your other accounts without trying to get them noticed otherwise they will also receive tags.

He is assuming I operate multiple accounts, which is false. Registering an account in 2023 and returning after a break due to work commitments should not automatically mark someone as an account farmer. I have provided honest explanations, yet I am still being treated with suspicion.

I hope you all will see it neutrally.

I don't know if this is right or wrong, but I am inviting @theymos, @JayJuanGee, and other senior members to check if I am actually in the wrong.
2  Economy / Speculation / Iran Deal Hopes Couldn't Save Bitcoin — ColdCard FUD Hit Harder. on: August 03, 2026, 06:53:53 AM
Despite the positive Iran deal rumors, Bitcoin dipped below $63K today. In most cases, world news relief is positive for markets. But this time? Mood was brought down quickly by the theft of coldcard wallets.

This is sign of the weakness of the market confidence at the moment. This hardware wallet mess should not be the only reason for not celebrating the big picture good news, but it did. That is a sign to me that traders are already nervous and looking for a reason to sell out.

I feel like there is phase that we are in. When it comes to good news, it is overlooked. Bad News is made bigger. Classic fear territory.
There is downside to expect if ColdCard turns out to be more of an issue than it is let on. Otherwise, it could be overreaction. Slow and careful, do not hurry.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who Should Regulate Bitcoin Products: The SEC or the CFTC? on: August 01, 2026, 04:09:45 PM
The SEC has decided to review its earlier approval of Nasdaq Bitcoin index options after CME Group challenged the decision. CME believes that Bitcoin is commodity and that products that are directly linked to the price of Bitcoin should be controlled by CFTC, and not the SEC. Until issue is reviewed, Nasdaq approval remains paused.

My View:

The thing that caught my eye is not the delay, it is fact that there is disagreement on who should control Bitcoin-related products. With Bitcoin increasingly entering into main financial world, such questions could be more common.
I believe rule clarity is as important as approval, personally. When multiple regulators claim control over same product, it leaves exchanges, companies and investors instate of confusion. That uncertainty can slow down innovation even in face of strong market demand.

What Do You Think?

Should Bitcoin-related financial products be regulated by the SEC or the CFTC?

Is regulatory clarity now one of the biggest challenges for Bitcoin's institutional growth?
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Who Can Access Your Bitcoin If Something Happens to You? on: August 01, 2026, 03:05:46 PM
Your Bitcoin may become unreachable by your family if you are only individual who knows where your seed phrase is and how your wallet works. On the other hand, if you share your seed phrase with someone during your lifetime, it also creates clear security issues. It is not always easy to find the middle ground between security and inheritance. Experts generally recommend planning both the technical recovery process and the legal side of inheritance instead of relying on memory alone. It is generally agreed that the technical recovery process should be planned as well as the legal aspects of the inheritance process, other than just relying on memory.

In my opinion, the protection of Bitcoin should not only be against hackers and thieves. It should also include ensuring that your family does not end up with unopenable wallet should something unexpected happen. The hard aspect is creating plan that will protect your Bitcoin today and let trusted individuals get it back later. It is likely that there is not one solution that works for everyone, so it is best to consider it before it is needed.

Have you made any inheritance plan for your Bitcoin?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why Is Wall Street Backing Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2026, 05:49:13 PM
Past few months has seen several big financial institutions such as BlackRock, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, and others, supporting suggested bill, the CLARITY Act, that tries to bring more clarity to rule landscape of digital assets in U.S. Key goal of the bill is to show legal scope for digital assets and which governing bodies would have legal power over various parts of the digital asset industry.

Many big financial institutions had been doubtful of crypto or were sitting on sidelines for years, waiting for the legal situation to change. Now, some of the financial world largest names are publicly weighing in on laws that could give industry clear rules.

My View On This

It seems to me that it is more like big institutions want certainty. Creating products or services or investing large amounts of money is hard when the rule landscape is uncertain. Clear rules help the involvement of institutions with lower legal risk and greater confidence.

Meanwhile, it has presented an interesting question to Bitcoin fans. Bitcoin was originally designed as option to the traditional financial sector, but some of the biggest pushes for crypto regulation are from regular financial institutions. In some respects industry is shifting from small market to the mainstream of the financial system.

What do you think?

Wall Street is now on the crypto trend, do you believe that its support is because it now understands long term possibility for Bitcoin or just because it wants some clear rules?

Will tougher regulations drive greater use for Bitcoin, or will they make industry dependent on traditional financial institutions?

Does entry of big companies into Bitcoin help or hinder end goal of the system?

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is Bitcoin Really Becoming a Macro Asset? on: July 27, 2026, 10:02:08 AM
There are several big central bank decisions this week, as well as profit reports from companies that are deeply connected to crypto industry. Many traders expect increased price swings around these events.

https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2026/07/27/interest-rates-in-u-s-u-k-japan-and-coinbase-strategy-earnings-crypto-week-ahead

Surprisingly, Bitcoin was first introduced as an option to traditional financial system, but today, many market players are interested in following interest rates, cash flow conditions and even company profits to figure out what Bitcoin will do next.

Is Bitcoin becoming more and more economy dependent, or is it just a short term trend that won't impact its long term value promise?
