1  Economy / Goods / 175KVA Westinghouse dry transformer on: December 02, 2016, 02:31:04 AM
HI all,

After shutting down my mine a year and a half ago after power costs made it too inefficient to continue operating it, I am selling off some of the equipment. One of the items I have left is a large 175kwa Westinghouse 480v transformer. I bought it refurbished and it was in service for about 4 months before shutting shutting down. It has been in my garage ever since, and I am looking to rehome it.

I am asking for 3btc, or $2000 cash, or trades on something or best offer. I'll consider any offers seriously.

Free delivery anywhere in the Puget Sound, WA area. Or delivery to Eastern Washington, Oregon, or Idaho for a fee.

PM me for details.

2  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Authentic 5 chime Train Horn (Nathan Aurchime K5HL) on: March 02, 2015, 05:55:49 PM
Hi All,
Ive decided to start selling off my collection of train horns and I thought I would try to get some BTC for them and see if there is any interest here on the board. I am asking 4.5 Bitcoin(OBO) for this train horn. It is a 5 chime made by Nathan Airchime with a model # of K5HL, for those interested, i can explain what that means. I have included some pics and a video of what they sound like. I have them mounted on my car and most everyone who sees or hears them think they are awesome. the horn has been restored and refurbished with all clean internals.

The horns use air to produce the sound. they are rated to be as loud as 125 decibels at 90 feet away. they sound good from anywhere between 100 - 140psi. the air inlet on the bottom of the horn is 1/2 inch, and its best to use no less then 3/8 I.D. of air hose and valve to sound the horn. Otherwise, it wont get enough air and wont sound as loud.

here is a video of this horn on my car a few years ago. starts at 2:14
