My funds are gone, others have the same issue. The pool operators do not respond to contact-inquiries in their official thread on bitcointalk or emails. I tried different channels more than a week ago. Link to their official pool-discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721712.msg43162250#msg43162250At this state we have to assume they either exit-scammed us or got hacked.

Preis: 65 €

Hello there,
recently i had to initiate the painful procedure of a manual coinswap for Scorecoin. When i asked about the reasons behind it, i was pointed here. The different threads that come up are all announcements for these swaps. IIRC big names like LTC, ETH, BTC did not have such processes, they however forked around quite a bit- without having to do a swap. Is there more info on the underlying requirements for these coinswaps ?
cheers

ASIC-Mining is an exciting and complex topic which takes time and trial & error to master.
I have offered some help in the past but have decided to focus on other things in the meantime.

Hallo allerseits,

Every now and then i read about issues with ebay with sold ASIC miners on ebay. There are a few questions for that in my mind: - are these problems only for commercial sales (when you do mining as a business?) - are these problems also appearing if you add a disclaimer that you do not provide warranty as a private seller ?
What has really happened to you or someone you know on ebay ?

You can buy my D3 Antminer including the AWP3++ PSU. For 5200$ (4500€) / ~ 1.2 BTC it is yours. It can be picked up in Germany (Saarbruecken or around Walldorf/Sinsheim) or shipped. Payments accepted: crypto, escrow, cash at pickup (with check at bank) Local pickup+crypto pay in BTC/LTC/DASH is preferred. I have one D3 available. Here are some pictures:

Recently i saw an offer for a L3+ with escrow which was 2g2bt (too good to be true) So i was pondering what it could be. Apart from being broken i thought it might have been overclocked. That means the warranty is gone. Is there a way to validate if an antminer was overlocked ? Does Bitmain have a method to see if a broken part was overlocked ? Is there a piece of sw that changes data on a chip ? The method i see is they could see the result of overheating on the chips once they open the miner. But breaking the seals will void warranty for me.

When i looked at the stats of my miner, some questions came up. Googleing them has brought mixed results so i assume i need to look at my cgminer-stats in context of it being an ASIC-miner. Some wrote for instance that discarded shares with gpu-mining are caused by too low power. I doubt that my asic doesn't get enough power.
How is the best difficulty-setting determined ? The minimum diff can be specified via the password-parameter in some pools. Also i am seeing 51.000 accepted shares vs 83.000 discarded shares. Something to worry ?
This is how it looks like atm: Status Diff GetWorks Priority Accepted Nonce# DiffA# DiffR# DiffS# Rejected Discarded Stale LSDiff LSTime alive 49.2K 167 0 1,269 224,435 57,430,016 52,224 0 4 4,061 0 49,152 0:00:35
On other pools like nh (that above is h2c) the discarded exceeds the accepted by far as well.

All that heat mining generates got me thinking a bit... It's a shame that all that hot air is treated like a waste-byproduct. I'd like to use that heat to keep my kitchen warm in the upcoming spring and winter. Since these ASICs are a bit loud i started digging for solutions to reduce the noise. Some people build enclosures and lower the noise a little bit- like this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvzP4g1bfh0 I was thinking about using sound-dampening foam or bitumen-mats.

I was thinking about getting a baikal x11-miner which does 300mh/s One shop which has them in stock is that site - however i cannot read a lot about them so i am unsure. The vendor-page keeps having the "out of stock" message in their shop so i am unsure a bit. Some pages i saw were obvious scams so i am a bit careful who i send some money to Where have you gotten your Baikal-Asics from in the last 1-2 months ?

This morning i was a bit shocked to see a new mail in my inbox claiming there was a successful login attempt. Have changed the pwd but idk it is fishy. My machine is running a proper av and this has not happened on any other account. I have a unique pwd and luckily no funds on it. The support has not responed until now- 9 hours later...
