1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Why is Dogecoin mining so profitable right now? on: February 14, 2025, 12:26:26 PM
So I came across this blog post on OneMiners' website while researching some altcoin mining opportunities, and I have to say—it got me thinking. It breaks down why Dogecoin mining is unexpectedly profitable right now, even compared to some of the big-name coins.

A lot of people write off Doge as just a meme, but the numbers tell a different story. The article goes into details about factors like the latest market trends, mining difficulty, and how the merge mining with Litecoin is actually a huge advantage.

Not trying to shill or anything, but I figured it might be interesting for anyone looking into mining altcoins right now. Check it out here : https://oneminers.com/blogs/news/why-is-dogecoin-crypto-mining-so-profitable-right-now

Curious to hear what others think tho—is Dogecoin mining worth it in the long run, or just a temporary spike?

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Goldshell AE-BOX PRO - COP or DROP? on: February 12, 2025, 08:41:43 AM
So i don't know if you guys have seen it yet, but yet another ALEO miner was released Cheesy GoldShell's AE-BOX PRO with 44MH/s that makes around $32/day.  Grin

ALEO mining on ASICs is here for a few weeks now and it still seems like a very profitable way to mine... As I mentioned many times before you can mine for example ALEO and HODL the profits in BITCOIN (It's really easy with platforms like OneMiners), then you can just withdraw to your wallet if you do not want to HODL it on the platform's wallet Cheesy

With energy $0.05/kWh I think it can be a quick ROI with some nice profits at the end Smiley

What do you think? COP or DROP?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Volcminer D1 Hydro - Thoughts? on: February 10, 2025, 09:30:22 AM
There are already pre-orders available for April, bu it is still a hydro miner... Thoughts?

The price is getting quite high already since dogecoin mining is the mostp rofitable RN and i dont really know wheter it is a nice short term investment or not... But the profitability offers is quite intereseting, ofc the difficulty will increase etc, but the ROI can be still quite fast...

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Hosting centers in Nigeria - Any Thoughts? on: February 06, 2025, 09:16:39 AM
Today I found out that multiple hosting providers are starting to build a hosting center in Nigeria, from what I've seen, the promised price for energies is $0.04/kWh for early investors.

I've seen some good hosting centers in Ethiopia, but this is probably a completely new one, what do you guys think? Will it be worth investing into it as an early investor and locking the low electricity price?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GoldShell AE-BOX - Crazy profits? lol on: January 28, 2025, 12:59:21 PM
HEAR ME OUT...

SO I've come upon this new ALEO miner, which is apparently the first released miner to mine ALEO coin. With power compsuntion of 360W (which is REALLY REALLY LOW) it makes over $20 a day. As you can see it costs around $3,300 and with quick maths I got to Annual evaluation of over 250% which is crazy.

More here: https://oneminers.com/products/goldshell-aebox-37-mh-s?_pos=1&_psq=AE&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Do you think a lot of people are gonna start mining ALEO? It seems almost too good to be true, but I guess I'll give it a shot. What do you think about ALEO coin?

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / How Profitable can Antminer L9 get? - Dogecoin Mining on: January 23, 2025, 12:15:30 PM
Talking about this 17GH/s version: https://oneminers.com/products/antminer-l9-17-gh-s?_pos=2&_psq=L9&_ss=e&_v=1.0

When I used 3rd party calculators i got to $49.37/day with electricity price of $0.05/kWh...

Do you mine Dogecoin? What is your take on Dogecoin mining?

Since Elon Musk literally created a D.O.G.E. (Department Of Goverment Efficiency) Department, I think he has some more plans with it lol.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Is Binance about to list Kaspa? on: January 16, 2025, 12:16:51 PM
So I've been surfing through the twitter for a while now and literally ALL I SEE these days is that BINANCE is about to list Kaspa?

I mean With miners like these: https://www.asicprofit.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-ks5-pro-21th

Kaspa still remains as one of the most profitable coins to mine, while some also claim it solvest the thrillema. I also looked at Binance's twitter and it REALLY DO look like they are about to list Kaspa...

Do you guys think it is possible? Do you think it will move the Kaspa's price?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DG Hydro 1 from ElphaPex: To Buy or Not to Buy? on: January 06, 2025, 08:51:15 AM
Hey everyone,

So, the DG Hydro 1 by ElphaPex is set to be released soon, and I’m debating whether or not it’s worth the investment.

According to: https://www.asicprofit.com/miners/elphapex/dg-hydro-1  the miner is expected to launch in March, with a current estimated annual profitability of $18,185/year (assuming an energy cost of $0.05/kWh)https://oneminers.com/pages/ethiopia-hosting-center

Of course, profitability will likely decline as more units hit the market, but if you can grab one in the first wave, there’s a solid chance to make a decent profit. Smiley

That said, I do have one concern. The DG Hydro 1 is a hydro miner, and my past experiences with hydro models haven’t been great—let’s just say they were more trouble than they were worth. 😅 Have these issues improved over the last couple of years? Are hydro miners more reliable now?

What do you think? Are you planning to buy the DG Hydro 1, or are you steering clear of Dogecoin miners altogether? Let me know your thoughts!

Cheers!

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Making Altcoin Mining Profitable – My Two Key Tips on: December 17, 2024, 08:58:29 AM
I’ve been into mining for a while now, and with the way things are changing, I realized that profitability basically boils down to two crucial things:

If you’re in Europe like me, you know how brutal electricity costs can be. Unless you’ve got photovoltaics, some insane off-grid setup, or a magical way to get free power (some people claim they do, lol), hosting providers are becoming the way to go.

Hosting centers offer lower electricity rates and handle everything for you—your miner is running efficiently, and you don’t have to worry about things like maintenance, heat, or noise. I’ve been testing a few platforms that provide solid deals and noticed some with apps or easy-to-use dashboards, which makes everything much smoother. OneMiners tend to throw in free trials or special promos, so you can test the waters first.

OneMiners Hosting: https://oneminers.com/

CircleHash Hosting: https://www.circlehash.com/

If you choose to mine in a hosting center, you also do not have to take care of your miner, because most of the hosting services provide technicians, that are checking on the miner and can repair it on-site in case of any problems.

It’s surprising how many people just set up a miner and forget about checking the market. Honestly, the market moves fast, and you need up-to-date profitability data if you want to maximize returns. I used to rely on old tools like asicminervalue, but recently, I switched to a new tool that updates market data every 15 minutes—way more accurate. They don’t spam you with ads or sell you stuff either, and their calculators make it easy to figure out profitability for different miners and coins.

Website: https://www.asicprofit.com/

Final tip: I recommend you to transfer atleast 50% of your altcoins mined to Bitcoins and hold it here, since altcoins tend to be very volatile. So just make profit on altcoins and hold the profit in more stable coin like Bitcoin! Smiley
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / NEW ElphaPex Hydro ($60/day)- Where to Pre-order? on: November 21, 2024, 11:10:10 AM
ElphaPex DG Hydro 1 is about to launch soon (probably in March 2025) and with the development of Dogecoin's price and its mining power, it should be very profitable...

More here: https://www.asicprofit.com/miners/elphapex/dg-hydro-1

What do you guys think would be the best electricity price since it has 6200W of power consumption?

Where do you usually pre-order to get it ASAP into your hosting/home?  Huh
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Asicprofit dot com - real time data? on: November 07, 2024, 08:27:25 AM
Few weeks ago I came across this website "asicprofit com" and it seems like they have real-time data from the asic market. Can anyone else confirm? It seems it is highly accurate and updates in real-time lol. Also there are some calculators for almost every coin. Which site do you use for checking ASIC profitability? They also do not advertise any seller so it seems really good Cheesy
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Finally a WORKING SITE for MINER PROFIT CHECK on: September 16, 2024, 09:17:11 AM
I was browsing some sites with multiple functions of the miner profit tables since I use them on daily basis and every single one is "working" like half the time.

I found www.asicprofit.com

This one seems to be working every time and also with real time market data, also provides a calculator.

So if anyone is looking for a good table of profit listings, with calculator, etc. Try to check out asicprofit Smiley
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Is new IceRiver machine for Kaspa expected to be released soon? on: July 24, 2024, 08:26:39 AM

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Which altcoin do you mine? on: July 11, 2024, 06:32:36 AM
For me it is ofc Kaspa, but Ive seen few people that are mining LTC/DOGE or Alephium etc.

Is there a point to it?

I mean like kaspa machines are the ones that are the most profitable rn and you can just HODL the profit in btc
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining KASPA Hodling BITCOIN on: June 18, 2024, 06:44:10 AM
So recently on the hosting platform I use (Oneminers.com), they have added an otpion to exchange crypto currencies in the platform's wallet. What I am doing right now is mining with the most profitable ASICs, which are Kaspa ASICS and the I transfer to BTC and HODL it there. This way I balanced profitability and stability lol. Your opinion? Cool
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / MINING KASPA - Whats the optimal electricity price? on: June 04, 2024, 11:58:53 AM
So I've been mining Kaspa for quite a while now, but recently, when I was talking with one of my fellow miners I found out that the prices may really differ especially throghout the hosting services. Iam using OneMiners as te hosting platform for my miners, which lets me to mine for 0.065 USD per kWh.

I find this price really good, but I was wondering if you guys know about anything that can be cheaper? Send links or your experiences down bellow, thanks for helping my research  Grin
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mobile Mining scam? Which site do you use for hosting? on: May 28, 2024, 08:41:42 AM
So from my recent chats, I haev 2 questions.

First of all, from what I've heard, mobile mining is a complete BS that really does nothing except of wasting your time. Here I was told, taht it is completely okay and can make you thousands of USD, your take?

Second I use OneMiners platform for hosting mining, do you guys know any other mining hosting that is not scamming people? And what are their electricity prices?

Thanks in advance for any tips Wink
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / MINING Kaspa HODL in BTC? on: May 20, 2024, 08:15:46 AM
So my strategy with mining so far is to mine as much Kaspa ASAP and then transfer it into bitcoin and HODL it there. So far so good, but I was wondering if someone thinks otherwise? Let me know in the comments, lets discuss! Roll Eyes
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / GoldShell miners look good, but are they reliable? on: April 30, 2024, 09:22:12 AM
I love the way goldshell miners, especially ther small ones are designed so i bought three of them, Iam going to test them out for you guys, but do you think they will be reliable?

If there is anyone with experiences with goldshell miners let me know... I'll let you know in a few days of my results. Roll Eyes
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / So I tried buying a shared miner and results are surprising on: April 25, 2024, 10:59:57 AM
So a month ago, the site that I use for online mining introduced the possibility of shared ASIC. The idea is that you buy for example a 1/2 of an ASIC the other half is owned by another guy and you basically split the reward. In case the other half is not bought yet, circlehash owns the other hlaf. You basically split performance and profitability of the miner. You can also buy like a 1/100 of a miner.

Why I like this is that it enables people to start mining with literally any budget. You can also sell your shared piece of the asic to another user, that is mining on circlehash.

I bought 1/2 of BM-KS-Max with my friend that is also mining on circlehash, and after he mines enough to buy the other half, I'll sell it to him. I was really exited about that, so I had to let you guys know, that you do not have to buy KS 0 PRO if you have low budget, but on this site you can buy a shared performance of an ASIC, that has a next level of profitability. Basically you mine a lot more with the same budget lol. Grin

I'am not mentioning the site's name because i was accused of promoting a company, which is not my reason for writing this at all. If anyone wants to know i can mention it in the comments Wink
