Maybe I just have the wrong impression or maybe it's because of the pandemic that stole all attention but somehow I have the feeling that current Bitcoin price rise over 20000$ didn't get almost any media attention. At least I haven't found any article or news in media in my country, like it's not interesting at all. And it was totally different situation back in 2017 when many media published something about Bitcoin. I also have the feeling that this time people are more cautious than thrilled and excited.
What do you think, what might be the reason or am I maybe completely wrong?

We are all aware that economic crisis is coming as a consequence of COVID pandemic and therefore probably will be deeper and harsher that we thought at first.
Do you think that your country has done everything to cope successfuly and rescue economy, support businesses and most vulnerable citizens or not? What do you think which country in the world will fight the economic crisis best?

After a last update of Mycelium wallet my address book disappeared, it's just empty. I had a lot of stored addresses that I used and now they are gone. Did anyone had similar experience, what could I do?

Yesterday I got the message from Wirex that they are making some changes on the platforme regarding traditional currencies (like Euro) accounts. So IBAN will be changed and similar and this naintainance will take a while. They also said that all other features like exchange services, cryptocurrencies accounts and Visa cards will be functioning normaly Still I'm facing problems with exchange, can't exchange Bitcoin to Euro and transfer it to card. Anyone else maybe having the same problems?

I don't know if you use Bitcoin debit cards but to my opinion there is serious lack of their providers in the market. In one moment we had a flood of such cards that appeared (Xapo, Advcash, Mistertango, Wirex) and when Visa pulled back their services many gave up permanently. Now I think that only Wirex has a properly working card.
To my opinion there are many users interested in crypto debit cards services but still there are no new providers appearing at the market. What do you think that is reason for that and will that change in the future?

I just saw notice on my Wirex app that all Euro exchanges all temporary disabled. So, probably from Bitcoin to Euro and vice versa. Does anyone has some more information? What does that mean temporary and what is the background? Never saw such notice before on Wirex so I hope it's nothing serious.

Since I'm deeply unhappy with Mistertango and their fees and services I would like to know if anyone could recommend working Bitcoin debit card, for Europe but also applicable everywhere else, with resonable fees and limits and good customer service? Bitcoin debit card is a must for me and something that has become a part of my Bitcoin using routine. Looking forward for your experiences.

As we all know, at least those from Europe General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force today. It's the new European Union directive/law that protects personal data from excesive use, abuse and disclosure without justifed cause. It applies to all public and private institutions and companies that deal with personal data. We all know that Bitcoin has lost a great deal of privacy and anonimity from the moment it first appeared due to different laws and regulations that affected exchanges and other services that deal with cryptocurrencies. Do you think that GDPR will change something in favour of Bitcoin users.

It's been a while since Wave Crest and Visa issues have happend and at that moment all debit card providers promised to find a new solution soon. Time has passed but I don't see Bitcoin debit cards appearing on the horizont. Currently the choice is very poor and service very bad and expensive. Does anyone has some information, are there some cards in preparation stage, like those from Xapo or similar?

I can't escape to notice that many users here on forum have terrible rebbelious fear of governments. Like government is some evil devil that will destroy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But is this realy so, do such claims have any reasonable ground at all?
To my opinion the cause for something like that is again ignorance. I think that regulation that is mentioned in many countries is often mixed with centralization which is something that is not natural to Bitcoin because it's functioning totaly different than fiat currencies. Also some warnings to people that Bitcoin is volatile and risky investment that come from national banks are often interpretated as hostile behaviour towards Bitcoin and attempts to make people not to use it.
Is there any hope that Bitcoin users and governments will find the common language and help Bitcoin together to be more accepted in economy, especialy by businesses and to become more "legal" everywhere?

I checked my Mistertango balance and see it's negative. How could this be, this is a debit card and you can only spend the funds you deposit. This amount of negative balance isn't shown on a transaction list and the sum of other transaction also don't fit this sum. I use only Bitcoin deposits to top up the card. Today I toped the card with single Bitcoin transaction but they cut it into two and it's showing like I toped the card twice, which is not true. Also, the amount is not ful but lower for the previous negative balance, which I don't know where is coming from. I contacted customer service but only got email they have big back log of requests and that I don't expect the answer so soon. What is happening, is Mistertango steeling my money??

In the last couple of weeks we could see the problems on world stock exchanges, the fall of Dow Jones etc. Analysts say this will continue in the future too. Although Bitcoin isn't tied to that market directly do you see any influence of this situation on Bitcoin price? What is your opinion?

I'm watching this thread and I can't to notice that there is almost no exchanges at all that hasn't been accused for scam or some serious missuse. Poloniex, Kraken, Bitstamp, Coinbase, Bittrex and many others. It's hard to beleive that this is happening for many of them after many years of legit business. Are they all really so corrupt or is it maybe something in regulation of these exchangers that allow them to freeze or close the accounts and funds when they have suspicious users' activities connected to money laundering, terrorism financing or other criminal activities? Does so many exchangers deserve to end up on a list of shame?

Skrill alows to fund account with Bitcoin and the balance is shown to Euro. I know that this balance can't be withdrawn to Skrill prepaid card but I would like to know if it's possible to withdraw that balance made with Bitcoin to Visa card or bank account. Any experiences?

I've just received email from Xapo that they were announced by Visa they have to stop card support and all Xapo cards in Europe will be immediately deactivated. I just can't believe that they haven't received any previous notice and prepare users for that or give some adjustment period. Very unprofessional from Visa. From this very moment I can't use my card anymore and I'm very angry and disappointed. I know it's not Xapo fault but still they should take immediate action to find new reliable provider.

I’ve got the e-mail warning from Xapo that their web service has been exposed to phishing attacks and users are warned not to give their credentials. Allegdely phishing sites look pretty much authentic so users are easily mislead.I mostly use their mobile app that is safer but this has reminded me that you never can be careful enough and that all security measures that you can take are needed. Does anyone here has such negative experience, that he got to the phishing site and lost the Bitcoins and what did Xapo do about that?

Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?

Many users are selling different digital and other goods for Bitcoins as their way to make some coins but also to get rid of stuff they don't want or don't need. I wonder what was the most expensive thing you have sold for Bitcoins and how was your experience? Is there some kind of goods that people especialy like buying for Bitcoins? I mean the legal stuff not drugs, weapons or something similar.

Does anyone these days have the problem with loging in into Xapo mobile application? Every time I try to log in in the past two days I get the verification code on my mobile phone but at the same time also the message that the code is wrong and can't be verified. On the other hand the Xapo web site is working normal and I have access to my account. What could be wrong with mobile app?
