1  Economy / Micro Earnings / What Happened To MellowAds Support? on: August 16, 2017, 04:24:56 PM
After a period of inactivity, I've recently tried to withdraw the bitcoins I've had on my mellowads account, however I don't have access to the email I originally used to sign up anymore. I'm still the same user, and I can sign a message from my wallet address to verify that it's me. I also still have access to my bitcointalk.org account. (Superhitech) This is my personal account that was used to create the announcement threads and promoted the site.

However, I've tried contacting their support through email, and support tickets and have received no reply whatsoever. I've sent them a support ticket since July 26th and they still haven't replied. Do they not provide support anymore? If anyone knows how this can be resolved please post here, thanks.
2  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Prepaid Mastercard/Visa on: February 17, 2017, 03:43:26 AM
I'd like to buy a prepaid mastercard or visa, I'd prefer if it was a vanilla prepaid card but any type of prepaid card will do. Send me a PM if you have one to sell.
3  Economy / Digital goods / Selling An Amazon Gift Card - 18% OFF! on: January 06, 2017, 01:21:55 AM
Hello,

I'm selling an Amazon Gift Card for 18% off. It is worth $6.15 USD But I am selling it for $5 USD in Bitcoins.

The card is 100% legitimate.

I'm selling it because I had some balance leftover in my account, and I didn't really need anything under $7. Instead of buying something I don't need, I decided to try and get some bitcoins for it.

If interested, post here or send me a PM.

5  Economy / Services / Looking for someone to code a login system for my faucet on: November 05, 2016, 05:28:20 AM
Hello Bitcointalk,

I don't have much time right now to work on projects, so I'm hiring someone to code a login system for my faucet. It can be custom, or if someone could refer me to an open source script, that would be great as well.

My faucet has a custom theme I'd like to preserve if possible, or keep some aspects of the theme. The login system should have an ability to save user balance until they hit the withdraw limit.

PM me with your price.
6  Economy / Micro Earnings / Mellow Ads Having Problems Lately? on: June 17, 2016, 05:37:59 AM
I'm not sure if it's just me, but has anyone had problems with Mellow Ads lately? It says that an unexpected error occurred or "this service is not available" when I try to sign in. I'll send an email to support soon, I just want to make sure that it's not just me, as of course, it could be a problem on my end. Has anyone experienced these problems stated above lately?
7  Economy / Micro Earnings / Faucet Owners Against Bots - Discussion and Ideas on: March 01, 2016, 01:52:32 AM
Recently a lot of faucets have been going through bot attacks. This is a thread where you can ask questions and share your knowledge with other faucet owners.

Some basic measures to protect your faucet:

See these threads:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211353.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200700.0

Make sure that your captcha is secure. Turn the difficulty settings of your captcha higher if necessary.

Antibot Links: (Note that antibot is not very popular amongst faucet users, only use if last resort.)

http://bit.makejar.com/labs/anti-bot-links-200/install.php

Recently bots have become a big problem. Share your ideas here with other faucet owners. The best way to contribute is tell us what you do to keep bots away, and provide some code. Let's discuss ways to keep our faucets safe from bots.

10  Economy / Micro Earnings / Need help translating microwallet to faucetbox on: December 26, 2015, 09:55:24 PM
I'm looking for someone who can translate values of the microwallet script to a faucetbox script.

I'm trying to update an older microwallet migrated version of the faucetbox script, but my faucet uses a custom theme that gets messed up when I try to update. The css and the buttons/captcha input values etc. get messed up.

Hence, I want to hire someone who can translate values for me. It shouldn't take too long.

For example, something on the microwallet script would look like this:

Code:
<p class="text-center">Get a reward every <?php echo $view['main']['timer']; ?>!</p>

While on a faucetbox script it would look like this:

Code:
<p class="alert alert-success">Get a reward every <?php echo $data["timer"]; ?> minutes!</p>

Looking to work with a trusted forum member, PM me if interested.

13  Other / Meta / Is it possible to use [td], [center], and [table] in full member signatures? on: July 09, 2015, 09:38:25 PM
I'm designing a full member signature, and I want to know if it is possible to use the table, tr, td, and center tags in full member signatures.
The official signature rules don't say anything about this. I would test it out myself, but I am a senior member now, so I can't check.
(I'm not putting [] around the tags because when I do, it says "INVALID BBCODE: bad table usage")
14  Other / New forum software / Avatar Auto Crop Feature on: May 14, 2015, 05:18:07 AM
I think there should be the feature to auto crop your avatar. Currently, in order to upload an avatar, it has to be a specific size, so people have to crop it manually. I think there should be a feature that crops the photo to the correct size automatically. I've seen this feature in other forums, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement (I could be wrong, I don't make forums)

17  Other / New forum software / The Ability To Filter "Unread Posts Since Last Visit" on: April 06, 2015, 05:57:32 PM
I think it would be a good idea to be able to filter the "Show unread posts since last visit," as I get somewhat annoyed when I click to see some recent topics and see all this stuff from the altcoin section, which I have no interest in. We should be able to block topics from a certain section from coming up in our "unread posts since last visit."
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Unofficial Bitmedia.io Discussion Thread on: March 28, 2015, 01:10:41 AM
I just noticed that bitmedia.io does not have a discussion thread, nor an official bitcointalk thread, so users have no place to ask questions. So I decided to start an unofficial bitmedia.io discussion thread.

Info:

www.Bitmedia.io is an ad network that pays out in bitcoin. They use the CPC model. (Cost per click)

OK, I will start off with the first question. Have you been able to withdraw your balance from bitmedia.io? The past few days, bitmedia.io  has been giving me a message saying "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later." Every time I try to withdraw my balance. Is anyone else having this problem?

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Can you use a new faucet database instead of the old one? What are the cons? on: March 12, 2015, 09:06:16 PM
Does anyone know what happens if you migrate your bitcoin faucet hosting to a new host and create a new database instead of using the old one?

What are the consequences, if there are any? I don't think there will be data loss, as bitcoin faucets don't need passwords, etc, but just wanted to make sure.

I backed up my whole faucet site except my database, which I'm kicking myself for right now. I'm trying to get in touch with my hosting provider, but he doesn't check the forum often, so I'm temporarily migrating to a new host. I can easily back up everything, and set up a new database, but I want to know if there are any consequences in switching a faucet database. Thanks!
