101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can Bitcoin and Ethereum co-exist? on: June 12, 2017, 04:53:37 PM
This question belong to the Bitcoin discussion because It's mostly for the bitcoiners but feel free to move it If you think It shouldn't be here.

As we can see, Ethereum is increasing rapidly, some might say that the market cap means absolutely nothing as It's based on supply and Ether supply is bigger then bitcoin supply, or the demand is simply increasing because of the ICOs that only accepts ETH as a payment method, others might disagree with all of the above. The question now, do you believe that both BTC and ETH can co-exist or people would switch to ETH If bitcoin ever becomes #2 on CoinMarketCap?
102  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin debit card for Airbnb on: June 10, 2017, 12:18:33 PM
I want something that works for sure because I really don't have money to waste, It should work using the virtual card on Airbnb (UK). I have no problem If the fees are high or the virtual cost a little bit too much as long as It's not Wirexapp because I know the fees are huge. I prefer something that doesn't require any ID verification because I need this ASAP.
103  Economy / Service Discussion / Ledgerwallet shipping on: June 09, 2017, 02:18:49 PM
I decided to buy one, last time I checked the page It was saying that they won't start shipping until July because they had too many orders. I checked today once again since I wanted to get one and now Its worst then ever, they won't ship anything until 1st August. If the days passes, are they going to increase that period? I don't want to spend money If they will delay each time.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What could I mine with the GTX 1080 Ti? on: June 08, 2017, 08:10:05 AM
I was planning to upgrade my PC parts since It's being more then 10 years since I didn't change anything. I'm going to use it for multiple purposes (gaming, 3D modeling etc.) but I was wondering If I could mine something with it that actually worth it? I'm unfamiliar with the mining process or how profitable it is by the way.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / OpenBazaar Raises $200k in New Funding on: June 03, 2017, 06:59:49 PM
OB1, the startup behind the bitcoin-powered decentralized marketplace OpenBazaar, has raised $200,000 in new funding from investment firm Digital Currency Group. Additional details can be found on CoinDesk's article.
OpenBazaar Chief executive also said that the decentralized marketplace knew a steady growth since the last year, I find this hard to believe because I know no one who use the platform. Ironically, the bitcoin community seem to have something against the decentralized projects.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / UASF Activation on: May 28, 2017, 07:00:01 PM
Everyone is talking about UASF activation and how this is going to be huge for the bitcoin community. The date seem to be 1st August If I'm not wrong, is the activation going to take place no matter how much services, wallets, miners and nodes are supporting the proposal or there are some criteria to follow first?
107  Economy / Services / [Hiring] Create/Find Counter Strike 1.6 Server for me on: May 27, 2017, 12:05:20 PM
Please, only apply If you have experience in these things. The machine is running CentOS 7 (x64) and you will be able to connect and run commands using a SSH client such as Putty (If you are using Windows).
I need someone who could install a server for me on my server, the server should accept non-steam players as well.

Its also possible to show me a service where I actually could buy CS 1.6 servers (again, with the ability of having non-steam players), I have tried GameServers.com but only Steam players are allowed to play.
108  Bitcoin / Project Development / A project to make profit and promote bitcoin? on: April 17, 2017, 04:30:09 PM
I was always thinking about doing some kind of project that could result in making some profit whether it's in fiat or bitcoin and also promote bitcoin Itself to people. I was thinking of creating a game, and adding it to both AppStore and Google play. I know the competition is tough but I thought of giving it a shoot anyway, what else could somebody do beside creating a game?
109  Other / Meta / BARADED Spamming on: April 14, 2017, 09:13:46 AM
I didn't download whatever he shared on his Google drive link but I must say that the spam is real and he keep posting the same messages in irrelevant topics over and over, I thought Its best to report the account instead of the posts themselves because there are many.

110  Economy / Service Discussion / UASF for advertising? on: April 12, 2017, 05:11:55 PM
I don't like accusing anyone of anything usually but from the look of it, on reddit, It looks like a lot of services are simply tweeting that they support UASF and just post it on reddit and get several upvotes while there is probably no way to confirm those allegations, that they actually support the UASF proposal. What I'm trying to say here is that they are taking advantage of the current situation simply to get more users.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tether questions on: April 10, 2017, 04:32:16 PM
I have visited Tether.to which is supposed to be the official website, while trying to make account, I figured out that my country is not supported so I have a few questions before proceeding as I don't want to lose money. If I buy through Poloniex or any other exchange, will I need to do any kind of verification while depositing or withdrawing?

I also want to know what is a real case scenario where someone could use Tether because I suppose I didn't fully get it, from my understanding, It's to maintain the value of your coins? If we assume that the current price of 1 BTC = 2000$ and I exchange that BTC to USDT, It should give me 2000$, If bitcoin price ever drops to, say 1000$ , I will be able to buy 2 BTC using that USDT?
112  Other / Meta / Adding sub-sections at the Digital goods section on: April 10, 2017, 02:53:40 PM
Since we added Invites and accounts to the digital goods before, wouldn't be a better idea to make it even cleaner? We have a lot of people selling domain names and host plans so that should be in another sub section, same thing goes for the digital gift cards while everything else should just stay in the digital goods.
113  Economy / Exchanges / Lowest fees exchanges on: March 24, 2017, 12:40:03 PM
Do we have a list around the forums with the exchanges and their fees? some fees are simply not mentioned in the FAQ or the website until you make an account and see by yourself and I don't want to go through all this painful process. If someone could let me know about the lowest fee exchange, I will be grateful.

I prefer something where no verification is needed and I shouldn't be from a specific country, basically works worldwide without the need of using a VPN.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Community vote for bitcoin code ? on: February 27, 2017, 05:03:05 PM
I didn't start on the early days so I'm not sure really sure how things were before, the miners had the ability to do stuff just like now, being able to approve changes on the bitcoin core code?

I wanted to bring this idea and see what people actually think, instead of waiting miners to approve SegWit why not make the community do so since bitcoin is decentralized and not everyone is really able to run a miner somehow by proving the ownership of a specific amount of bitcoins?
I know, some people might say that this could easily be faked by bots sending bitcoins to each other etc... but something should be developed for this, like locking the bitcoins until the vote finishes.
115  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Amazon GC Cheap rates on: January 29, 2017, 06:53:36 PM
I'm looking to buy Amazon gift cards for rates that are somehow cheap compared to the current market price, before you suggest purse.io then I already know about it and the rates are higher then what I'm looking for.
I clearly don't want to deal with shady newbie accounts that sells carded gift cards, P.M or post your offer below.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fiverr no longer accepting Bitcoin on: January 29, 2017, 04:06:42 PM
I'm not sure how many of you are using Fiverr for doing some gigs there but I just noticed that they are no longer accepting it , I googled to see If they announced anything about it and I found an article about it on Bitcoinist , they claimed that this is a business decision and couldn't give more details about it.
117  Other / Meta / Hardware wallet section ? on: January 28, 2017, 03:25:51 PM
I don't know If this has already been suggested or not but since Mycelium and Bitcoin for android have their own sections now, I find it weird that hardware wallets don't have their own as well. In fact, I think that Paper wallets should have their own sections as well since people are throwing their topics almost everywhere these days and almost no one posts in the alternative clients section.
118  Economy / Exchanges / Instant exchanges on: January 22, 2017, 04:54:07 PM
I want to know what are the instant exchanges out there ? In other words , I want to ability to buy or sell BTC using different payment methods such as Skrill , PayPal , Ukash , CashU and more without the need of waiting time.
I don't care If those features are in different exchanges , If buying is on one and selling is on another fine ,Its totally fine and same thing for the payment methods I mentioned.
119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Gunbot trading bot on: January 21, 2017, 09:24:13 AM
I'm a very active user of Poloniex and I saw this Gunbot BOT and I was wondering how good is it , I may buy it based on the feedback of users around here. I need something that actually makes me make profit while not having a really big amount of BTC . I have no problem running the BOT 24/7 as I leave it running for other stuff .
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / David Seaman Accepting Bitcoin on: January 20, 2017, 06:17:21 AM
I'm not exactly sure on who this guy is but from what I understood , he is a journalist and he was working for the Huffington post.
He was fired for writing an article about Hillary's Clinton health and he got his PayPal frozen for like two times in one single week . If you take a look at the comments , you will see that people are supporting him either with donating or with leaving PayPal too. I found this video by chance cause I was looking for some new videos on bitcoin.
