1  Other / Beginners & Help / MtGox not processing BTC withdrawal on: November 06, 2011, 10:18:52 PM
so it has been over 24 hours since i requested a 100 BTC withdrawal from MtGox. The Withdrawal has still not shown in the blockchain.

i contacted support 12 hours ago who simply said "we are having some problems have patience and when the transaction is sent it will show in blockexplorer", no explanations as to what is happening or how long this will take.

any body else had trouble or can give an explanation?

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone else find everything about MtGox is going Slow on: August 20, 2011, 09:01:12 PM
Ok so this week i have deposited 2 lots of funds in GBP, usually takes about 24 hours maximum 48 hours
to be credited. Its been 3 days and i contacted support, no response in the last 24 hours.

also the market is hardly moving. Its barely moved more than $0.05 up or down for the last 12 hours.

anyone else noticing this or explain what is happening.
9  Other / Meta / Attn of Admin or Global moderator. missing post data. on: August 19, 2011, 12:30:46 PM
This is really an administration issue but i cant see the admin so if a global mod reads this they could pass this message on.

some of your posts have missing data. example anothe example is two posts down from this in the same thread.

this can happen during a database back up and you will need to convert your database to utf8 through the forums admin maintenance panel.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Other newbs enjoying this rollercoaster market? on: August 07, 2011, 08:47:24 PM
This last two weeks of trading bitcoins has been an epic adventure. any other newbs enjoying this as much as me?

I generated a couple of BTC only about .6 btc but i decide to try and sell them this was about two weeks ago. any way I got a couple of bucks for them and decided to see if i could buy them back cheaper and maybe sell them again. Ok, that worked out alright too.
I funded an exchange with some real money and started trading just as the bottome fell out.

But actually that has been highhly profitable too. I have actually increased my amount of bitcoins and the value of my initial investment. It is just about looking for the right deals.

for example while mtgox is trading for 7.2 dollars per bitcoin, someone on is offering 10 dollars per 1 bitcoin?

any way has any other newbs found they have made more money on the way down turn than when the market was slow?
