I am handling the signature and avatar campaign for Orocoin. We are looking for maximum of 25 participants for this campaign of which 10 will be members and full members, 10 will be senior members and 5 will be hero or legendary members.

6. You should make a minimum of 10 posts per week, a maximum of 30 posts per week and at least 1 post must be in the official announcement thread

9. Posts made in Local boards, Games & rounds, Off topic, Micro earnings, Investor Based Games, Politics & Society, Beginners & Help and any other signature or social campaign threads (including this thread) will not be counted.
10. If a user gets banned from the forum, receives a negative trust, or is found spamming during the week, then payment will be forfeited.
11. If a user is unable meet the minimum posts criteria for two weeks in a row, then payment will be forfeited and you cannot reapply for the next two weeks.
12. Alt accounts, sock puppets of current participants, and multiple accounts are not allowed to join.
13. Users who are found to be blacklisted in this thread will be disqualified without any payment.

I am running the Twitter campaign for OroCoin. We are paying up to 0.0009 BTC to anyone who qualifies and is willing to tweet about OroCoin and the OroCoin ICO.

Each qualified participant will get a minimum of 0.0007 BTC for making at least 1 unique tweet about OroCoin with the tag "#OroCoin" and "$ORO" and including a link to www.OroCoin.co and retweeting one of our tweets.

Only the first 150 participants will be eligible for payment unless we decide to extend this campaign.

Since MtGox the Regulation Rhetoric has escalated a lot. Duh, I'm stating the obvious.

What I didn't expect to see what people from the BitCoin community begging to make BitCoin into something that is absolutely no different from the Fiat money we already have.

I'm fixing to cash out simply on the basis that, if there's no damn difference anyway, why bother? We're talking about ushering in a new tier of professionals... Really? This debacle has made BitCoin grow up...? Seriously?

This is total self destruction much, much worse than what MtGox did... There is no substitute for freedom. 5 years into the experiment that was BitCoin, they all cried out in unison for the warm blanket of slavery to take care of them, because the bumps and bruises were too much to learn from.

Sent BTC to Blockchain.info wallet address. Everything worked fine.

12 hours later a new address has been created in that wallet which I did not create. The BTC that was previously attached to the original address, is now attached to this new mystery address and they won't confirm...

I'm looking at my money, but I can't touch it...

Plenty of places sell them for FRNs via Credit/Debit. I'm looking for someone who is willing to buy them via that method (or whatever, I really don't care), and let me pay them in BTC.

Will be fairly large chunks of money... Between $2,000 and $30,000. ESCROW WILL BE USED. Prefer someone who has done this sort of thing before, and has a reputation for it.

I can direct you on specific part numbers and sources if you are unfamiliar with this sort of product.

Also, if there is a seller of LiFePO4 Cells that accepts BTC that I have overlooked, any info would be appreciated.

I couldn't find it, maybe I'm searching with wrong words... But somebody out there has to offer the service of buying stuff in exchange for BTC. There's got to be some trusted members of the community doing this, I just can't imagine such a vacuum going unfilled.

I've got some stuff I want to to buy, but there is no source that accepts BTC which sells said products.

Most specifically, LiFePO4 cells, but, some other things now and again. Mostly relating to guns, off-grid, and electric cars.

My first project is an electric car/truck. I'm willing to bet that I can save more money on not buying gas than I would make on holding the BTC. And even if I'm wrong, freedom from the gas gangsters is priceless. Tesla, you say? Way too Big Brother for me. Building my own.

Not in a major rush... Looking for the right people first.

In the last week or so I've bought in a lot of BitCoin using BitInstant. I've also been getting my parents into it, they're kinda old and not very technologically inclined, so it's an uphill battle.

3 transactions have been lost and I've been slowly sorting out why.

Initially, the issue was brought to my attention by my parents telling me that two of their deposits never showed up. I inspected the addresses at blockchain.info, and they're right, no BitCoin was ever sent.

I inspected the emailed receipt data from BitInstant and saw that the payments were sent to MtGox and the BTC Addresses was used as the Account Number.

I presumed, at this point, that my techno-clueless parents forgot to select "BitCoin Address" instead of "MtGox" on the "pay too" drop-down.

A few days later, it happened to me. I did not make a mistake. BitInstant's automated system is randomly and rarely sending information to the wrong place.

BitInstant has refused all attempts to contact them thus far. It's been a week. I didn't want to go public with it, I wanted them to fix it. But, they refuse to return emails or call me back when I leave a message. I characterize it as a refusal because it's been a week! "Emergency" number I've called twice a day? Dozens of emails? They can't call me back or reply to an email even one time?

So far, they've sent $1500 into a black hole.

I have a wallet.dat file with 5 addresses in it.

These addresses show transactions with no deductions on blockchain.info; they have value assigned.

These addresses are displayed by the BitCoin Client (0.7.2, 0.8.0, and 0.8.1).

But, the client always shows Balance is Zero.

How can the client show the addresses as properly imported/available, the addresses all have value in the blockchain, but the client says I have no BTC when the chain is fully synched...?
