Scum bag senator who fist pumped the insurrectionists appears on panel at hearing concerning the riots.
Just unfucking believable.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Will Trump be indicted ? on: February 14, 2021, 06:44:16 AM
Ok, so I thought I'd start a new thread now that the inevitable has happened.
Trump not convicted ...what a surprise.
But now he's out of office and no longer immune from criminal prosecution, will he be indicted?
And held accountable for his actions during his presidency (among other things) in a criminal court, rather than an impeachment trial in the senate where we all knew
it was a fore gone conclusion that the spineless retrumplican toadies would vote for acquittal, no matter what evidence the house managers presented.
4  Other / Meta / Why was this post deleted? on: January 23, 2021, 10:22:48 PM
So this is weird. I posted a link that discusses Trumps pardons in the thread I started, entitled "Trump Pardons" and it got deleted.
I have no idea why.  Maybe I broke a rule I'm not aware of? Naked link with no context maybe?
Its certainly not off topic.
Anyway, I'm just curious to know, so I don't repeat same mistake. Thanx.

7  Other / Off-topic / When did you first get connected and surf the internet? on: February 29, 2020, 01:17:59 AM
My 1ST foray into the internet was 1995 shortly after windows 95 was released.
My first Win95 pc had  a  2GB hard drive, 200mmx  something or other processor and a whopping 15 inch crt monitor, and a 28.8 k modem.
My ISP was Prodigy,  because AOL wasn't cool man, lol.
I was a star member of the Prodigy Night Chat Room as I worked night shift.
Got home at 2:30 am and logged in everynite . Me and my fellow clown chatters had a blast trolling all the Prodigy chat rooms.
I even got temp banned for being naughty in the "polite chatroom"... lol.
(My buddy dared me to go into the  "polite chatroom"  and post "HEY IS THIS WHERE YOU POLITE MOTHERF***ERS SHOOT THE SHIT? " in all caps and
because I'd been drinking all night, of course I did. The first reply was brilliant...No, it's where we shoot assholes like you!...  )
my nn was exjaysbac if anyone out there recognizes that would love to hear from you.
Or any ancient aol, netscape ,prodigy, internet surfing story.......OK BOOMER!!!

9  Other / MultiBit / multi bit unconfirmed transaction over 48 hours on: February 24, 2017, 12:43:00 AM
i have a stuck transaction that wont confirm over 48 hours. My fee was too low, didn't think to change the default setting as this has never happened to me.
live and learn. now i know to set that slider to highest setting!
I'm using multibit HD version 0.4.1. Already tried the viacom accelerator thing. still waiting.  Any suggestions to get it canceled or
raise fee.  i've heard you can pay a bounty to a miner directly to get transaction confirmed in mined block. anyone know how you go about doing that?
repair wallet doesn't do anything.
otherwise i guess i wait. does anyone know what the ballpark max wait time is before getting coins back in wallet?
really appreciate any help and will send tip for any info that leads to resolution once transaction goes thru or is cancelled. thanx
