22  Economy / Economics / Open Banking on: November 22, 2018, 08:23:13 AM
New Fintech movement is going to start in Europe

The financial services industry in Europe is at a crossroad. Regulators have decided to open the floodgates to competition by introducing the concept of open banking. Although Europe is progressive when it comes to regulations, implementation can be complex. Now the world is watching to see how new regulations affect the financial industry in Europe.

Name of it is Open Banking
I don't see any that kind of banking here in my country however Revolut is more and more popular here.I think Revolut can be example of that kind of banking

Article is interesting showing on what stage Fintech is in different places on our globe

23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Historical Street Gambling Game on: November 01, 2018, 07:50:24 PM
I want to share with you story about street gambling game from before WW2 war
It was a way to make money for smart guys from uptown area
Smart guys without incomes stream
Game was played on bazaar or straight on the street
It was very simple game.Three cards two of them were black and one was red red was wining one black were losing
Guy was presenting cards to gambler than he was mixing cards gambler was choosing one card trying to find red one

At first look it was very easy to find red one
And it was like that because casino  guy was allowing gambler to find red one
But he  knew gambling psychology and  he knew that gambler after first easy win will like to win more
So gambler was wining first attempt second or even third and was betting  bigger and bigger money
At some stage casino guy was mixing cards that way that it was very hard to find red card and gambler was losing
Finally smart guy was winner and gambler lost all money what he had in his pocket together with watch

But sometimes some smart guys was coming to play.He knew very well how it works
So he was showing himself like a newbie and when game entered  in final stage he was
the winner over casino guy

Do you know any historical popular game from your country your maybe forgotten already
maybe somebody from old generation told you about some old gambling game

Russian roulette was popular but there are not living gambler who can share story about that game

Or maybe you know some real unknown stories how gambler was able to win against cheating casino etc
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Juventus is Launching His Crypto Token on: September 24, 2018, 06:58:34 PM
Juventus is going to launch his own crypto token
For the effort, Italy's Juventus Football Club, which boasts Cristiano Ronaldo as a current team member, is teaming up with Socios.com to launch the "Juventus Official Fan Token." The token will be initially distributed via a "Fan Token Offering (FTO)," according to a press release Monday

https://www.coindesk.com/juventus-soccer-club-is-launching-a-crypto-token-to-give-fans-a-voice/

Cool idea in my opinion  it can strengthen relations between c lub and fans

The token, which will be tradeable on the Socios platform against its native $CHZ token, will allow the fans to vote over an upcoming mobile app. With the platform, fans can respond to Juventus ballots, allowing supporters' "voice to be heard, and creating an emotional connection between the Club and its fans," the club says.

Like i see PSG has similar idea
Just two weeks ago, top French league team Paris Saint-Germain, revealed plans to issue its own cryptocurrency as a way to incentivize participation from its fans around the world. That project is also being conducted in partnership with Socios via a similar Fan Token Offering.

Looks more clubs will join crypto

In fact, Socios indicated in today's release that it hopes to engage with more soccer clubs, possibly as many as 50, going forward.

Maybe will be possible to trade FC Juventus token against PSG token lol

My worry is that kind of trading may fully control btc prices and create massive speculation

34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Some Truth About Bookmakers on: January 20, 2017, 07:45:57 PM

Bookmakers suffered a double whammy over the weekend.

On Saturday the UK government unveiled plans to introduce a 10% levy on profit for bookmakers that take bets on British horse racing from punters in the UK.

From April, bookies will have to pay the levy, regardless of whether they are based in the UK or elsewhere.

The money will be used to provide much needed funds to UK horse racing which can only be a good thing.

Of course the bookies have reacted angrily and are threatening legal action.

And secondly, on Sunday, it was revealed that bookmakers that fail to tackle problem gambling and money laundering face heftier fines and a higher risk of losing their operating licence.

Last year Paddy Power had to pay £280,000 after it was found to have encouraged a problem gambler until he lost five jobs, his home and access to his children.

And both Betfred and Coral were fined over £800,000 in money laundering cases.

There seem to be a whole host of issues with the industry and I won't be shedding any tears for them.

And I doubt any punters will be due to their numerous bad practices where their customers (i.e us) are concerned...

Restricting/closing accounts...
Downloading spyware onto computers...
Failing to pay out on winning bets...
etc.
etc.

36  Economy / Economics / Monte Paschi Di Siena-Banks Crash on: December 22, 2016, 04:54:42 PM
Oldest bank in the world, founded in 1427 is going to crash third time from 2009
Yesterday bank stated that he has enough of liquidity for four months of operation
Just few weeks ago bank was telling that he has liquidity for ten months
Investors dont want to help,no money from them,so bailout, but it needs special permision from EU
Yesterday Italy has asked for permission to rise public debt about 20bln euro, still not enough,to keep his banks alive Italy needs about 50 bln euro. Thay count on investors money
So hot time begin started from Italy and btc price jumped over 800$

Itlians have learned, thay are withdrawing money from banks,in last two months thay have withdrawn 6 bln euro only from Monte Paschi,
What foreigne banks are holding Italian Banks bonds, propably Deutche Bank,Citigroup, and a lot of ordinary italian people

In the background are most and most popular anti EU movements ,Beppe Grillo,
It is just beginig, european have learned on Cyprus and Greece example ,thay dont trust banks and his EU politicians

It is begining, btc is going on 1000$ and after we will see

37  Economy / Economics / Italian Banks-Crash is Coming on: December 09, 2016, 03:45:24 PM

similar like in 2008
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-eurozone-banks-italy-montepaschi-excl-idUSKBN13Y1H0?il=0

Maybe that is a reason of btc price rise

40  Economy / Economics / EU Banks Ball-In on: July 13, 2016, 02:14:03 PM
Italian banks are in big trouble.Thay are holding 385bln euro of unpaid toxic debts.Last EU regulation doesnt permit for ball-out,so new mechanism ball-in will be used to rescue banks. In that case first banks will have to sell his actives, than stake holders and bond holders will pay,if that will be not enough money will be taken from depositors with acounts over 100000 euro

How serious it is.Yesterday Italian giants Uni Credito sold 10% of his 50%+1 stock of his  daughter bank ,Polish  Pekao SA .Pekao SA is his most profitable bank from all Unicredito group
But from that transaction Unicredito get 365 mln euro only, thay need minimum 9bln euro

Similar transaction have been done in Italy,Spain and Greece, banks are selling his stocks in privet transaction to collect funds

There is big danger that banks will have to take money from depositors accounts like it was in Cyprus
Imagine run on banks in Italy

Next is that even German LandsBank needs about 600000 mln euro

Be carful with banks, becouse there is no money there
