Damn, I can't believe this is happening so close, it's unbeliable but it was unavoidable. 58 million of unplayable fee. I really hope these guys don't get all of their money stolen. Only if we were in 2025 they could have had a chance with Bitcoin we are still on the very early days.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin: It's the next natural step on: August 03, 2015, 10:50:44 PM

Really cool and simple pic that sums it all perfect. I love stuff like this, anyone could understand this and get the point without being very bright. Post some more stuff like this if you got some.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Balance with 215,000 BTC, what is this one about? on: July 20, 2015, 12:28:08 AM

I was having some fun exploring the blockchain for weird looking addresses and apparently this is the biggest address ever, and has tons of small micro transactions incoming. What are those transactionsa about? Is this some sort of mining related address??
44  Economy / Economics / eBay official splits from Paypal on: July 17, 2015, 06:53:44 PM
Quote
EBay Inc. last year fought to keep hold of PayPal in a contentious battle before reversing course. As it plans to spin off the fast-growing payments unit on Friday, the e-commerce company may wish it had held its ground.

The company’s second-quarter results, its last as a united entity, tell a story of two online giants headed in seemingly opposite directions. While PayPal can point to double-digit revenue growth and a slate of recent acquisitions, eBay is beset by shrinking sales and is jettisoning assets.

Time for eBay to man up and start accepting Bitcoin directly through their in-built interface. Be the pioneer and make Paypal look like idiots in the future. Now it's their chance to shine.

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation funds Bitsoko, promotes BTC literacy in Kenya on: July 15, 2015, 12:44:34 PM

Seems like Bill Gates finally went from "Bitcoin is good, but not good enough" to fully embracing it. Im glad people slowly come to their senses and deal with the fact Bitcoin is indeed good enough.
46  Economy / Speculation / Don't be the Ronald Wayne of Bitcoin on: June 22, 2015, 10:27:25 PM
You are having a bad day holding you coins? Remember this: in 1976 Ronald Wayne sold his 10% stock in Apple for 800$.
Now its worth $60 Billion.

The train hasn't even left the station yet. Once we get close to the ATH and pass it again, consolidation of Bitcoin's amazing recovery will put it clear: The sky is the limit, and that 1.2K peak will look like it's nothing in the all time graph.

Long term holders: Don't be that guy.
