How the Affiliate Program works for Bitbond STO

The Affiliate Program

You can earn 5% of the investment volume that is made by anyone who follows your affiliate link.

You don’t have to invest in the Bitbond STO in order to earn from the people you refer, but if you already signed up for the Investment Waitlist or gone through the Pre-Qualification KYC procedure then you should have already received your affiliate link.

How’s it going to work?

You’ll get 5% of anything that is invested through your link, and shortly after the subscription period opens on March 11th you’ll be able to track who has invested because of you on your investment dashboard.

You’ll be able to see how many users registered via your link, how much they invested and what is your total commission.

Where can I share the affiliate link?

You’re welcome to share your affiliate link on social media, on your blog and on youtube.

There are no restrictions on where you can share the link, however American and Canadian investors are not allowed to participate in the Bitbond STO, so we recommend you focus your efforts toward people who are eligible to invest.

Are there any other bounty programs?

The short answer is no.

Please do not signup on any website other than bitbondsto.com to join the affiliate program. We have seen some people falsely promoting offers on other websites, and we can confirm there are no other programs.

The Bitbond STO is regulated under BaFin with an 80-page German prospectus that has been translated into English. The reward program is part of that document and also had to be defined for the regulators. Here is the relevant section from the English translation:

"The program provides that affiliate partners acting as tipsters will refer to the Issuer's offer over the Issuer's website, whereas subscription itself is only possible over the Issuer's website. The Issuer has not granted the Affiliate Partners permission to use the Prospectus. Each Affiliate receives rewards of 5 percent of the respective subscription amount for a successful "tip". As the targeted total issue volume is EUR 100 million, the costs for the Issuer from the affiliate program thus amount to a maximum of EUR 5 million."

This is why there are no other bounty programs or airdrops associated with the BitbondSTO.

How will I get paid?

Your affiliate commission will be paid out within 30 days of the token sale ending. The token sale ends on May 10th 2019, and we will try pay it out faster than that.

Your commission is going to be paid out by EUR via a wire transfer. We’ll request your details as soon as the sale has finished and we’ve calculated your earnings.

If you earn more and €5000 from your affiliate link (i.e. you bring in investments that total more than €100,000) we can arrange a manual payment in crypto - XLM, ETH or BTC - instead of a EUR transfer.

[Bitbond Token (BB1)]

At Bitbond we are running the first German Security Token Offering with an EU compliant securities prospectus. The offering is a tokenized bond, the prospectus has been approved by the German financial regulator BaFin.

The Bitbond Token (BB1) has a nominal value of EUR 1 and can be purchased by interested investors (except US and Canadian citizens). The tokens enable investors to participate in the success of the blockchain company and in the loans brokered by Bitbond.

Token holders receive two types of coupons:

• Fixed coupon of 4% per year, paid out quarterly (i.e. 4x 1%)
• Variable coupon which represents 60% of the profits of our investments, paid out once per year after audited financial statements were published

Investors who subscribe early will get a discount on their investment.

The applied discounts change either after the time period for a discount tier is over or when the maximum investment amount of a discount tier has been committed by token investors.

[Paris FinTech forum 2019]

This week we attended two fantastic events, the Paris FinTech forum 2019 and a European Investment Bank’s (EIB) workshop in Luxembourg.

At these events, we had the opportunity to present Bitbond and talk to other great companies. A big shout out to Fintech Finance and Video Bourse for conducting such interesting interviews with our CEO, Radko.

Finally, a big thank you to those of you who attended and stopped by our booth! Paris Fintech Forum has turned into one of the most relevant FinTech events in Europe and we already look forward to next year’s edition!

Next week will be a busy for Bitbond, as we will be attending two prestigious events!
