Do you purchase goods ? Do you keep the Bitcoin in a wallet, in hopes it will appreciate in value someday ? Do you immidiately trade it for fiat to cover costs, and use up the remainder ? Do you keep the BTC and use it to daytrade in the Exchanges ? P.S - side question : Do you refer to Bitcoin as a plural form or do you prefer "Bitcoins" as the plural form ? just wondering if there's a strong inclination one way or the other ** EDIT: typo BT changed to BTC

why fill the blockchain with unnecessary garbage that bloats the size of the blockchain when you can put your "stuff" in your own database and be done with. Blockhain should be about Bitcoin moving from one wallet to the other, instead of throwing all the troubles of the world as if this was a global recycle bin. In my view - Traders want and need service. it is immaterial whether this service is based on a database or on the blockchain

After all, how much would it cost to manipulate the BTC/FIAT exchange rate ? after all - there is a very limited number of exchanges, and trading volume is not as high as is the case in the traditional Foreign exchange

Traders 1. are you actually using the APIs provided by the BTC Based exchanges? -Or- Are you using mostly the regular web interface ? 2. Those who are using the API - are you using for : making trading decisions / submitting orders / both ? 3. are these specific generic tools that connect to the APIs or each trader has to build his/her own tools ? I'm asking in order to understand the level of importance attributed to the APIs (Important vs. "nice to have" )
