2  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / $6000 di Akhir tahun on: September 30, 2017, 12:16:38 PM
Wink

Following the fabout, we have a projected bumpout date of December 21st

Cheesy  In other words, there will be no December deliveries and January is iffy, just like I told you all.

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / ATX Power Supply Jumper, now with a switch! on: September 26, 2013, 04:36:54 AM
I've seen various questions about how to avoid having to use a paperclip, some love the paperclip, some fear the power it holds. This should make lives easier for the latter.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261273247128

Now you don't have to worry about the paper clip trick, or "tricking" the power supply, it's a good 'ol analog switch that will allow you to turn on and off the power supply, like magic, only it's not magic... it's a switch.

Enjoy!

P.S. It's not my auction, but after countless hours of intensive internet searching I found it :-)

9  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS} BFL Preorder 60GH/s Single ORder #6158 8/24/12 on: July 28, 2013, 11:28:07 PM
Considering selling 1 or more of my preorder units. I have 3 ordered and paid for 8/24/12, also paid for overnight shipping.

Any interest or offers?

Also have 2 in hand if the price were right. Don't have BFL power supplies, but I'd include a desktop PSU.

13  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / I just lost my lease, retiring 70+ GPUs on: January 21, 2013, 04:05:12 AM
So the company I worked for is moving, the lease expired, so my mining rigs have to be out by the 25th. So sad!

I'm thinking it's just time to retire the systems rather than run new power and cooling at the new location.

Does the community have any tips for retiring 70+ GPUs? Should I re purpose (to what end), sell individually, in bulk, target practice...?

I'd love to hear your suggestions

15  Economy / Long-term offers / BCS&T is Officially closing in a Preemptive Measure to Prevent Community Loss on: September 09, 2012, 03:58:00 AM
Those of you who know me as "Barcode" I hope will understand the reason behind the proactive closing of BCS&T.

In an effort to keep losses to a minimum, I have decided that the only way to stop the bleeding is to not make the cut.

Effective immediately, BCS&T is shutting it's doors before they open. As all investments that would have been made would not have been able to be paid back, your BTC will remain safely yours.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope this servers as a lesson in BTC investing.

19  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / ASICs vs BOTNETS on: June 19, 2012, 09:17:01 PM
So I've heard there are botnets running lots of hash. Are there any confirmed major hash sources that are botnets?

Based on the hash of the botnets, they are making a killing, and there's nothing we can do about it, however if/when the ASIC rolls out in force, the botnets will no longer be a significant portion of the hash.

This stands to gain (ASIC) players an even higher % of the pie.

What Say Ye? Vote Above
