Cryptodevil recently negged me for a reason I deem unnecessary. For showing an interest in buying an account. I do not want to scam and I never will. If I wanted to scam I could not than easily buy a hero account and scam. But I don't.
I openly disclose all my accounts above member, as this is the minimum level that people will have any level of trust with, and the rank you can get into a signature campaign.
If you want, I can list them here.
He is ignoring the pm I sent him more than 4 days ago. Doesn't everyone have the right to at least get a response on why you ruined their reputation, no matter how small?
I believe this rep is unnecessary. I'm asking for the community's help to at least persuade him to change it to a neutral feedback.
I'm leaving this thing non-self-moderated. Any information will be handed over willingly.
Regards, Monnt

I've noticed accounts being sold being advertised as having "green trust". I used to think this meant that the account is on DT, but evidently it's just if the user's trust score is above 10 or 20 respectively.
Does having light/dark green trust make any difference to your ability to leave reps?

Dunno if this belongs in a different board. Any regular listener here of NPR's planet money podcast would have heard one of their most recent episodes, about bitcoin. They usually have great stories to tell, bit this one I take as an insult to bitcoin. They are discussing the blocksize debate. In their episode, they execute a bitcoin transaction. But for some reason, this transaction does not go through. The network forgets it. This gives the impression that the bitcoin network is broken. I've never once had my transaction forgotten. I blame this anomaly on the user's. They most probably use little to no fees. But no, they have to go on and idolise XT and Classic, saying "It's bitcoin with a larger block capacity". Not true. Any opinions?

Hey guys. I'm looking to see if there's any interest in any crypto flat caps. In my opinion, opting for a "bitcoin" flat cap would be too flashy in public, as the symbol itself is almost instantly recognisable. So from there I moved to the idea of an ethereum flat cap. The symbol looks very nice, and you don't even need to have the subtitle "Ethereum" above it. Just the symbol on a black cap with a red bill. I can create a minimum of 15 for about $20 each w/out shipping, and if I order 100, I can do it for almost $10. I'm not really interested in hosting this, as Australia has pretty hefty international shipping costs. Maybe an experienced group buyer? The cap itself would cost somewhere between $10-$25, including shipping. Anyone have any interest?

Hey guys, im interested in purchasing one of Cryptolab's new Case physical wallets. What appeals to me is that it is a standalone device, without needing a computer or a phone to operate (like the Trezor or Ledger hardware wallets)
But this also has some downsides. You have no direct connection to the internet.
I have a question. To send a transaction, you'll have to use the built in scanner to scan a QR code. What if you have just a bitcoin Address? The easiest way to send that is to convert the address into a qr code, which is a complicated process. And how do you get people to send to your case wallet? A qr code. What if you need someone on the other side of the country to send you bitcoin? Problem there.
So is there a simpler way to send/recieve bitcoin on a Case, or Case 2 coming out, or is there even a better alternative?

I need to liquidate my bitcoin, I have some debt I need to pay off ASAP. Is there any way I can sell my bitcoin at or above market price w/out ID for paypal or bank deposit?

Would this gambling system work?
Since that mining bitcoin is pretty much random, but the rule of thumb is that the more hashpower you have, the higher chance you have of mining the next block.
What if there was a service that you could bet on who mined the next block, with say a 2% house edge? Would you gamble there?
E.g. Pool x has 50% of the total hashpower. If you bet on pool x and they mine the next block, you get 98% profit.
Or this
You bet on who is going to mine the next block, based on the top 10 entities with the most hashpower. If you win, you get your share of the pot that everyone contributed to.
E.g.
- x is your bet in BTC - y is the combined bet of everyone who bet on your same entity - z is 95% of the total amount wagered for that block
So the formula is: z(x÷y)
The house earns 5% of the total pot every block.

Here is a thread I dug up, and it voices my question of "Can I use a vanity address on my Ledger wallet?" I have some pretty cool vanity addresses, but my Ledger wallet doesn't allow importing private keys. What it does allow is importing wallet seeds in the BIP39/BIP34 24-word format. So this thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=158655.0, asks if I can create a wallet seed that will generate my vanity address first time. I know it's theoretically possible, but how can I do it? P.S. I've also looked into bitcoin payment forwarding, but people who provide these services don't allow you to import your own private key.

I own a Ledger wallet, which sadly does not support the importing of addresses. I'd like to use my vanity addresses though. Is there a service/app that hosts your private key, and any payments that go through there are forwarded to you?
I can see that there are similar services, but not the same. They all don't allow you to input your own address.
It would also be even better if the funds could be sent through a mixer. Is there also a bitcoin mixer that has permanent mixer addresses, not like bitmixer's 24 hour address?

So basically the user BitCloak paid me bitcoin to fund his Reddit ad slot. I agreed, sent the payment, but now Reddit has saved my details.
He/she has agreed to allow me full control of the account until this fiasco is resolved. Im still funding his ad.
The account, when prompted to pay for a purchase under "credit cards", it shows mine right there, at the top. I'm worried this is a safety issue. Does anyone know a fix, that hopefully isn't contacting support?

Hey guys, I've ordered many avatars for my Steam account around the forum, but I'm still not happy with those that I've gotten. I'm thinking of making a competition for my avatar, so what should my prizes be? I have a budget of a maximum (I really don't want to go all the way up here) 0.05 BTC. What would be the most cost-efficient setup for me, but also a good incentive for the entrants? Things I need discussed: - Prize amount
- Prizes (1 winner, 3 winners. etc)
- Anything else that will contribute towards a better competition and outcome for me
Thanks in advance for all your help guys. - Moving this to service discussion

Hey guys, i'd like to buy X-COM 2 for a friend/relative of mine. I'm looking for a price of somewhere between $25-35 (Although highly negotiable), because it's easily $40-50 during a sale and bitcoin is almost always called higher than virtual cash that cannot be 100% liquefied. I'm open to offers.
I will only trade you if you fulfill at least one of these criteria: - You are trusted on this forum - Your game copy is tradable - Your in-game inventory is worth alot (More than mine, $500) - If you are trusted on SteamRep - If you have a Steam level which costed more than what the game I want costs (I think it's around level 50 if I'm correct)
PM for my steam profile.
