1  Economy / Service Discussion / Lowest Cost Bitcoin Miner Hosting on: July 06, 2015, 02:15:53 PM
Rates start at $63 per kW, including tax/VAT. We're significantly cheaper than any of our competition. Month to month rates for clients with 15 kW or more of miners. Prepayment required below 15 kW, but depending on the set up can be as low as 3 months up front.

References, insurance and answers to your questions available upon request.

We are located in northern Canada.

2  Economy / Service Announcements / Seeking Partners for Large Mining Project on: April 14, 2015, 03:31:25 PM
Hey everyone,

We've now received government approval to build a 10MW project in Labrador and have a building and financing in place to proceed with an estimated date of completion of October 1st, 2015.

However, before we commit to such a large expenditure we want to gauge interest in the project. At this point we can offer prices so low (incl. all fees and taxes) they are unheard of in the industry, if we proceed with this project.

We are looking for large scale miners who expect to have a demand of 1MW or greater come fall of 2015.

We are not looking for deposits. We are looking to connect with interested parties. This includes companies in the Bitcoin space, individuals, and consortium that can put together enough demand.

Please drop us a line if you are interested. You can PM this account, e-mail us at info@greatnorthdata.com or contact us via telephone at +1 (888) 770-2243 for more information.
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Multi-Megawatt Hosting Facility Launching Q1 2015:Offers Ultra-Competitive Rates on: December 08, 2014, 07:21:29 PM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Multi-Megawatt Hosting Facility Launching Q1 2015

Offers Ultra-Competitive Rates, Seeks Large Miners

December 8th, 2014

The Bitcoin mining industry has reached a point of transition. Hardware manufacturers continue to produce increasingly higher density miners which the average home user will find difficult or impossible to power in single units let alone in numbers.

Bitcoin difficulty continues to trend upwards while prices remain low, exacerbating the need for miners to streamline their costs in order for their hardware to remain profitable.

With the majority of home miners and many industrial miners across the globe paying exorbitant electrical rates the industry has seen a surge in the demand for affordable hardware hosting.

Great North Data is proud to announce the construction of the world's largest Bitcoin Data Centre, located in Canada, with a final capacity planned in excess of 20 Megawatts. An initial 6 Megawatts are expected to come online by the end of Q1 / early Q2 2015 with additional capacity continuously added thereafter to meet growing demand.

The facility is being professionally designed specifically for the provision of Bitcoin miner hosting. Great North Data will deliver high-density rack power with a custom-designed HVAC system to ensure proper cooling. All electrical work and fire suppression systems will meet or exceed applicable codes to minimize the risk of catastrophic failures that have befallen other Bitcoin hosts.

Meeting our clients’ goals without breaking the bank or providing unnecessary bells and whistles will allow us to provide our exceptional service at a minimal cost. This revolutionary hosting service will be provided at a secure location designed to prevent outside interference with operation.

While many existing facilities claim prices of $90/kW/month as being "the lowest in the world", Great North Data offers all-in, no surprise prices that are substantially lower, allowing miners to run their hardware profitably in this facility far longer than anywhere else.

Great North Data's target customers are large-scale miners, hardware manufacturers, and resellers who currently operate, and/or plan to purchase, data-centre grade hardware in the 300+kW range.
