4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [LTC] FPGA miner development - prototype december 2013 on: September 18, 2013, 07:28:10 PM
Everybody is talking about FPGA miner for litecoin,  but I still didn't see any working proof. So I decided to ask my friend from Italy for help.
It's time to say: FPGA miner could be done. When? December 2013 -> prototype cost about 1000 (eur) So everyone could test online (see the miner room with some webcams)
First will be out 16 FPGA model. Later more powerfull.
I can probably more than 10 times faster than GPU mining. You could sleep with the miner and your parents will not ask you if you are growing weed in your room  Grin

Stay tunned

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Stratix-5 A7 or D5 project 01.05.2013 update on: April 15, 2013, 06:48:42 AM
Virtex-7 I read that has potential of 1600mhash/s, but I don't know the hashrate of Stratix-5.

I could get both chips for low price.

Thanks in advance for your help.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Dedicated FPGA mining idea on: April 08, 2013, 08:45:35 AM
Hello to all!

I'm in pre test phase for LTC FPGA mining system (waiting for remote connection)

My idea:
1) Solar power system (so ellectricity is cost 0)
2) Server rack systems in server room with all infrastructure
3) High level administration and support -> if anything goes wrong
(example board gone, any computer gone, is changed in few minutes)
4) Probably not low hashrate due chips used > you probably know that are fast!

So a simple configuration of one multirig
- Server rack 42U (cooled)
- Delock 61952 3U external GPU rack PciE X1 x8 (14pcs)
- Computer with 4x PciE x16 (4pcs)
- Installation, cables, ups,..

What I'm looking for:
- Programmers (with good fpga skills)
- Investors
- Share holders

In next month I will get a remote connection to a machine for probably 2 days, for test the hashrate.
