2  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] PDUs Power Distribution Units L6-30P 30A [CAN/USA] on: October 13, 2017, 05:46:53 PM
Hi,

Do you guys know where I could buy at a good price 60 PDUs L6-30P 30A.

Back in the good ol' time, I was able to get used AP7841 at a really good price. But it is not available.

Anyone is selling their PDUs? Do you have suppliers in mind? I look out eBay, but didn't find anyone with good quantities.

Thank you   Smiley

Hey,

I would like to sell my Genesis account.
* Hashrate: 0.6 TH /s
* Daily fee: 0.02 USD / 10 GHS

It would cost 312 to buy this amount of power directly on Genesis. I'd like to sell this at a 30% discount : 220 USD

Escrow is recommended. I pay if we go with Tomatocage.

5  Bitcoin / Mining support / Unique identifier on Antminer S3 on: April 22, 2015, 01:58:18 PM
Hi,

I have a bunch of Antminer S3 and I would like to know if there is a place in SSH where we can see an unique identifier? I can get the serial number on an SP20 by running the command eeprom-read-hostname.sh but I don't know if it is possible for a S3 or if there is any equivalent..?

Any luck?
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Speaking to Spondoolies Hardware with the serial port on: March 14, 2015, 07:37:56 PM
Hi everyone,

I wondered if anyone successfully used the serial port on a Spondoolies device? I am trying to get it done with my SP20 and I am not able to make it work! I don't understand what I did wrong and I want to make sure that it is working for someone as I'll try to replicate is setup!

Firstly, we can get the UART settings on SP website http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/technical-blog/17587524-our-serial-settings-for-uart :
Quote
HW flow control - NO

SOFTWARE flow control - NO

115200

8N1

Secondly, I contacted the SP support to know what was the pinout of the serial port:
Quote
Here is the pinout for our serial cable:

Pin 5 GND
Pin 3 CPU RX (input to miner box CPU)
Pin 2 CPU TX (output from miner box CPU)

Signals logic level is 3.3V

Thirdly, I bought this device and made a RJ45 to RJ12 adapter with the pinout in consideration to be able to plug it in the SP20.

However, all I can get is gibberish on the console.. The bauds rate looked fine to me, but it didn't work... I'm thinking it could be an error in the pinout, but I'm supposed that if I didn't make it right, I would receive nothing on the console...

What are you guys thinking? Did someone have any success with this port?

Thank you!

9  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Canadian miner here. I buy your used mining stock. [PAYPAL buyer] on: January 23, 2015, 12:38:09 PM
Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy mining hardware in bulk sale. I am talking to some manufacturers and I can get some pretty good price per TH/s with shipping to Canada. However, I'm also willing to buy used stock for those who wants to liquidate their operations.

Here are my buying rates (February 19 2015) with shipping paid by seller to Joliette, Quebec, J6E8E3:
Code:
- (Without PSU):                            190 USD / TH.s^-1
- (With PSU (S4, SP31, SP35) or external):     250 USD / TH.s^-1

Shipping:
- Shipping to Canada may be expensive, but there are ways to make it less painful.
- Shop your prices from many suppliers. I think USPS would be best in your case. I know that if I ship with Paypal, the fees tends to be lower.
- Try to put at least 30 kg of stock in the same boxes. Buy new boxes if needed. Cost per kg could be 40% cheaper this way!
- For large orders and reasonable fee, I may be able to drive to Plattsburgh and pick them there. You could ship them to this UPS Store http://plattsburgh-ny-6270.theupsstorelocal.com/products--services/package-receiving-services and it could be a lot cheaper. The fee for this service would be 100 USD + 5 USD / package. Sellers: You can coordinate yourself to send your package at the same time and split the 100 USD fixed fee.

Reputation:
- I want to pay with Paypal since it offers buyer protection. I won't do escrow since it doesn't solve the problem and expose ourself to another unknown party. Those are my terms, you are not forced to deal with me if you disagree with the use of Paypal, so please, don't get irritated by the existence of this post.
- All I can do is trying to be transparent and you can judge by my Internet presence if it's worth the risk. Hopefully, I'll gain some reputation on this forum so it will become less an issue.
