1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / UTXO reduction by trx-to-self? on: May 12, 2015, 03:26:56 PM
Would it be possible to reduce the number of UTXO by making a transaction to self?

For example, if there are 30 payments to the same address A, this means there are 30 UTXO (assuming nothing was spent so far). If a transaction from A to A would be made (spending all BTC and sending all back to A), would this reduce the number of UTXO?

If this is the case wouldn't it be make sense to allow (as an exception) these kind of transactions to be done by anyone (i.e. *without* signing) in order to reduce the number of UTXO, provided that:

(1) the amount is send from A to A
(2) no fees applied
(3) no other trx uses the respective UTXO
(4) number of UTXO is reduced

Sorry, if I completely miss how UTXO work, I am still learning.
2  Local / PortuguÍs (Portuguese) / Buying goods in Brazil on: March 05, 2012, 01:42:36 AM
Sorry for writing in English. My Portuguese is not yet good enough.

I am looking for someone who could buy for me a few things in Brazil and send them to Germany. The goods are not expensive (maybe 25 Brazilian Real) and should be easily available in a supermarket or so. I will pay for goods, shipping and efforts with bitcoins. Please let me know if you can help!

Obrigado!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Webpage for buying goods in other countries? on: March 04, 2012, 01:20:36 AM
I live in Germany and want to buy a couple of goods from Brazil. A few months ago, I found a bitcoin related website that established contact to (trusted) members in countries that ship the goods to you in exchange for a small fee. Unfortunately I cannot find the page anymore (neither via google nor in the bitcoin wiki). Anyone remembers the website or lives in Brazil? Thanks.
