Apparently not rich people, according to the article.
4  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining at 18 000 ft on: October 30, 2011, 08:32:57 PM
Just for giggles I decided to run my miner during a city hop. So I've been mining BTC, TBX and LTC at 18.000 feet from the wifi on the plane.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Small transactions? on: October 24, 2011, 09:53:06 AM
So it's not possible to send small transactions in the network? Sending 0.1 or 0.01 BTC has a fee that is unskippable. I can't choose to not pay the fee and wait until some node will process the transaction "for free"?
6  Other / Politics & Society / Afghanistan on: September 24, 2011, 10:39:27 PM

Man up and grow a pair. Move to Afghanistan and set up your business there. I promise that you won't be bothered by the big bad government.
None of that horrid infrastructure, education, protection or other nasty stuff to worry about.

Or quit bitching because you have to contribute, just like everybody else.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I just increased the value of your coins. on: September 11, 2011, 05:16:22 PM
Congratulations. I just destroyed my bitcoin stash of about 30 coins due to a brainfart. I transfered my coins to a wallet on another computer and before the backup had a chance to run on that machine I reformatted the drive, destroying my coins.
I hope the value of your coins go up, and I'm officially out of the bitcoin world. It was fun while it lasted.

Interesting, but it does go against the economic theory popular here.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin Randomizer - Under attack? on: June 16, 2011, 11:11:57 AM
What's up with with the randomizer? Anyone have any news?
Have I missed an announcement somewhere?

Came across this graph.

The hypothesis of the creator is that the stimulus works. What say you?

If you haven't seen this, it might be interesting for people in this forum. If it's been posted before I apologize.

12  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining with GMA HD? on: March 05, 2011, 11:13:37 AM
I have a laptop with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD installed. Is it possible to use this for mining? A cpu-miner on this machine does about 4 Mhash/s. I assume GMA would do better than that.
I've searched the forum but not seen anything about it.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can I be taxed? on: February 11, 2011, 09:57:51 AM
New user here, been lurking a while but not registered/posted until now.

I have a question about taxing and how easy it is to find me.
I have a few ideas about how to accept bitcoins for a service that I'm thinking about. Nothing big, just a hobby project. Seeing how bitcoins could be exchanged for money I'm sure the government would love to tax me for the bitcoins I make. How easy would it be to find out how many bitcoins was sent to my account? I would generate a new address for each transaction.

Hmm, they'd probably just wait for me to change the bitcoins to $ and tax that when I put it into my bank.
Still, the question stands, is it possible to see which account gets the bitcoins? If I send 100BC to 100addresses, can anyone see that one person got them all?
