The police has released pictures of a suspect in relation to the murder of the 24 year old bitcoin trader Heikki Bjørklund Paltto. He is described as approximately 170 cm (5.57 feet) tall, has brown eyes and does not speak Norwegian very well. He may have fled the country. The tattoo on the hand may be related to the Angolan flag: Any information about this person or the tattoo should be sent to the Oslo Police dept. at post.oslo@politiet.no or phone +47 22 66 90 50. You can contact them in English. Article in Norwegian: https://www.nrk.no/ostlandssendingen/mann-etterlyst-etter-majorstua-drapet-1.14255736

I would appreciate if it was possible to increase the default fee, for instance by adding a configurable multiplier (ie 1.5 to make all levels 50% higher) or by allowing to set the highest level as the default. I forget modifying it when I send, and last time I used it the transaction was only accepted after 110 minutes and in the 8th block that was found after I sent the transaction.

Can anyone suggest such a service? Gyft and Egifter refuses to sell them to me, probably because I have a non-US IP, and Cryfter is out of stock. With the rest of the services I have found the chance that I get codes bought using stolen credit cards is too high. I suppose I could try Gyft and Egifter with a VPN, but it seems a bit much hassle.

May 2. I tried selling bitcoins to the ATM in Heron City in Barcelona. However I was paid a little fewer euros than what I had requested. Another person came over and told me that he had problems withdrawing as well, and had had so for two days. He called support while I was there and was told that someone would come within 15 minutes. After 45 minutes he called again and was told that the support person would be there "now". After about two hours with no one turning up I gave up and left.
The next day it seemed like it was fixed because the limits were much higher so I was stupid enough to try again. This time I was only paid 1/8 of the amount I sold. In the evening I sent a support request through the form at groupbtc.com which I still have gotten no response to. Wednesday 3rd I tried calling and was called back because the first person hardly spoke any English. I agreed to send an image of the receipts by email, and he said it would probably be resolved the next day. I have gotten no response to the email. I have also tried a PM to makalu (Miquel J. Pavón Besalú, the CEO) here on Bitcoin Talk on May 4th but he has not been logged in since May 2.
Tuesday 10th I sent an SMS to the number that called me back, and got a reply that they are trying to solve my problem. I sent another SMS the next day but I have not heard from them since. My problem is quite simply that they are not refunding the bitcoins I haven't been paid for, and there is no reason for it to take this long.
From what I understand it is part of "Bitcoin Investors Trust SL", which also runs ATMs in Portugal, Argentina and Mexico, in addition to "Hedge fund BTC". Their main web site is groupbtc.com. Buyer beware.
TLDR; they are no longer paying what they should and contacting support does not help.

No. reisedokumentar. Bitcoin - digitale penger - har i dag mer enn to millioner brukere verden over.

It seems all the SatoshiPoint ATMs are turned off, and some some say the others that are listed various places are gone as well. I think there are only the ones at Google Campus and The Vape Lab left. Can anyone verify if those or others are still online?

I'm going to Spain in a few months, and I intend to sell a few bitcoins to have some Euroes while I'm there. It seems to me that it would be very easy and convenient to do it through Hal-Cash (I'm getting a local sim). However, hardly any buyers here or on Localbitcoins seem to offer to pay using this method. Have I missed anything that makes using Hal-Cash a bad idea for trading bitcoins?
Also, does anyone know how long it takes before a Hal-Cash transfer expires?

I think topics with more than one or two pages of discussions should be moved to the Service Discussion forum. Right now it's useless for finding new services, because almost all the top topics are old announcements being bumped again and again. Some threads have more than 100 pages.

Localbitcoins is pretty much useless, because it only shows a maximum of 5 traders in the search result list, and even fewer on the map. Usually those will not offer a decent price. Are there any other ways to find other people willing to trade for cash these days?

I have an Irish 3 broadband SIM, because it provides cheap broadband in several countries. Unfortunately it won't accept any of my Visa cards, probably because they're issued in Norway. Because of this I will pay €12 in BTC for a €10 top up. I assume it can be topped up with a voucher which can be bought in Ireland, or an Irish payment card. Please PM if you can help.

Set up an service where users can pay to have a transaction confirmed in the next block you solve.

Nokså generisk innhold, bortsett fra at de har snakket med Kripos som sier at "dette er noe som må tas på alvor".

I currently have 2, and I will sell them at 2 BTC each, price valid as long as the BTC stays above $15. If you want to speed up the process you can send 2.000<bitcoin forum user id> coins to 1KJrZ1smjTfjxqCkJsLGneL3PqGtv1Jawd and PM me where you want to recieve the code (email or PM). Feel free to zero pad if your ID has less than 5 digits. This is my OTC rating: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=Grinder-btc

Need BTC worth about $500, maybe more if the price is right. I will pay at most 4% above MtGox, but cheaper will of course be preferred. My Neteller account is in USD so there will be a fee if you are using a different one. Unless you're a better established trader than me you send first.
