I’m a final year student at the University of Portsmouth studying BSc Business Information Systems, My final year project entitled: “Is Bitcoin is a sustainable future currency: Investigation into the future of digital currencies?” My supervisor is Dr Penny Hart .

Purpose of study:  This study is set out to develop an in-depth understanding of emerging crypto-currencies, specifically Bitcoin, and to investigate whether it is a currency of the future.
Participants: members of the general public are being invited to partake in this study, as the awareness and opinion of bitcoin in the public eye is an important factor in gauging how popular bitcoin is and the use of Bitcoin

Results: The results of this survey will be kept strictly confidential and will only be made available to myself and my supervisor.
