1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Biostar TB350-BTC 6x Nvidia GPU on: July 18, 2017, 03:21:46 AM
Has anyone gotten this board working with 6x Nvidia GPUs? I've tried pretty much all the options. It's funny I switched from a Asus board to this one to specifically avoid this issue, but it seems as though they didn't test this board at all. Particularly the 4th slot (third from the bottom) always fails. It'll detect the GPU and then quickly reset the driver when I start mining in Windows.

I tried 4G decoding, puts the board into a reboot loop. Mining mode doesn't even seem to do anything. Latest bios. Tried moving the cards around, changing risers, hard reseting the board... There aren't any options in the bios to adjust the lane allocation or gen version (funny enough for a mining board).

5x GPUs work fine, but that also worked fine in my x370 Asus board I had before.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Maximizing Autotraded Alt Currencies on: April 12, 2017, 05:00:25 AM
So I know some exchanges allow auto-sells when you send your mined currency to the exchange. Poloniex currently allows this and defunct Cryptsy used to allow this. That's fine and dandy, but taking that a step further I'm looking for a bot that would hold the currency until it starts to dump or reaches some predefined threshold and then dump it. Often times auto-traded currencies don't sell at opportune times and I can't monitor things 24/7.

Does anyone know of a service that does this? I would even pay for a service that automatically attempts to maximize the profits from your mined currency (but also doesn't buy currencies). Something like a daytrader.

I've seen a few bots that will do this with BTC, but that doesn't help when I'm mining all sorts of alt currencies.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Can you still purchase ASIC Scrypt miners? on: January 25, 2016, 07:32:33 PM
Are they still selling them? I've been doing some digging and largely turning up nothing compared to SHA ASICs. I know they were all the rage in '14 and early '15, but now it seems like supply has largely dried up except for startups trying to get funding for miners they haven't made yet.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / All or Nothing BTC Funding Website? on: January 07, 2016, 11:12:10 AM
Does anyone know of a all or nothing kickstarter type BTC website? I did some googling and found some traditional websites and also some that will just offer a widget (not return the funds if they aren't funded), but nothing like a easy to use Kickstarter for projects that is all or nothing.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Founding a new coin on: December 19, 2015, 12:03:14 PM
Where would you look to find coin developers willing to work with new coins? I'm looking into making my own, but would need someone with knowledge of making coins (not just copy paste). The coin wouldn't have to be anything special and could probably just clone another popular coin, however the usage of it would be completely different as would the distribution (but once again nothing super special). Some backend code would have to be written to do a few special things I have in mind, but very easy stuff. I could probably do myself, but it has to tie into the coin which complicates things and I have a lot on my plate besides this.

I'm trying to be vague, but wouldn't mind referrals or talking in PMs with someone. I don't have a lot in the way of monetary value, so it would probably be payment in the form of the currency we're making (which is monopoly money till things get going) and possibly some BTC. Time frame would definitely be generous, but within reason. There may be a v2/3 of the coin as well depending on how the first generation goes. This has been something I've been planning for well over a year and isn't going to be a ordinary pump/dump coin.

Development will need to continue after making the coin in the form of bug fixes and such, specifically to the extra things that need to be tied in, but that's quite flexible as well.

I don't expect this to be the next Ethereum or anything like that, but it will be interesting to see where it goes!
6  Other / Meta / Account Stolen Bensam123 on: March 15, 2015, 10:03:28 AM
As requested. Currently trying to get in contact with Theymos or Badbear, neither have responded to emails. Have proof of ownership, which I'm trying to send to them. Trade to and talk with extreme caution.

It happened about 4 weeks ago, so it's been compromised for awhile, but hasn't really been used till recently. If anyone has a way to get them to respond to my PMs it would be appreciated. I have very easy to verify proof, it'd take maybe 5 minutes.
