Just wondering how much bitcoin you feel comfortable with an exchange holding while you trade. I'm not asking anyone and wouldn't recommend anyone detailing in the thread their finances.

Ok so as I understand it, and I'm just checking I've got this right as I've gotten conflicting information. If I want to change my password I use for bitcoin-qt, and not have old wallets with the old password jeopardize my coins, I can change password, generate a new bitcoin address and send all my coins to myself using the newly created address? Also this would refresh the keypool?
I know I can make a new wallet.dat file, but that terrifies me! Read a few too many horror stories.

I've not sent anything from my blockchain wallet in a long time, but upon deciding to cash out I niotice a $2+ recommended fee. wtf? why is this?

Hello, Im looking for a script to be made similar to visitbit.com advertising section. So I need to add something to an SQL database upon payment. I have been using this script https://github.com/blockchain/receive_payment_php_demo/blob/master/index.php

Which is very similar and it just needs a bit of tweaking. At the moment I have a page which posts information to a second page where the user is then prompted to pay. Once payment is received then and sql table is updated with info from the previous page. Most of this script is done I believe. reply or PM if interested. Possibly more work if interested in future. I know there is nothing sinister about this script, its not going to steal all my bitcoin, as I have basic programming knowledge and have gone through it (all checks out in my book anyway). But in the notes it says "Do not use in production as is." I was just wondering why not? I'm looking to use it and it would work for me but I dont want a work around to be present.

I'm sure you've seen them. There are quite a few faucets I come across where you enter the address, click some buttons to supposedly show the captcha only for no captcha to appear. Here is a example http://www.giftsatoshis.com/ I cant for the life of me find how to unlock the captcha, I just dont get how anyone could be bothered wasting such time to unlock the captcha, but people must as there are a few high on the faucetbox list. How are these faucets getting high on the list? Do you think they should be removed?

So I recently had to force quit bitcoin-qt on my mac, and since doing that I can no longer get it to load to the main screen. Just gets stuck at Rescanning 100% where I then have to force quit again. How do I go about fixing this? Shall I just delete the last block?

So I sent 0.2 btc from bitcoin-qt (v0.10.2 latest). It's not showing on the blockchain and its been 2 hours now. Just says "Status: 0/unconfirmed, broadcast through 2 nodes". So I sent another transaction (0.0001btc) and it went through ok. I paid the  fee. I've looked up about how to fix this problem but all the replies were quite old and using different versions. Is there a way to rebroadcast the transaction or delete it? Or should I just wait? Currently I am 'catching up' at the moment and am 21 weeks behind, not that, that's relevant...I think. I did close the client rather quickly after clicking 'send' if that means anything.
