I don't know how to measure how close that fits.  The 5's may be high because of block reward, which I've left in.  Transaction fees were counted as part of the block reward.  It would probably be best to ignore the block reward, and break out transaction fees individually.  I will do that later.  Also, not sure why 1's would be high -- maybe people sending around a Satoshi for kicks?

I'd been thinking about trying it out of curiosity for awhile, and last night that curiosity finally overcame laziness.  I hacked together a script to SHA256-hash every password in a large (14 million) password leak, compute the corresponding address, and scan the blockchain for transactions touching those addresses (using blockparser.)  Here are the results:

Luckily the unspent balances are small enough that I'm not tempted to snatch them (I told myself I wouldn't when I started, but even those 7 bitcoins back in January are tempting.) It's also good for everyone's security that most of the transactions are small.

I threw a few not-so difficult pass phrases into the block chain a while back, only '1LdgTMX2MEqdfT3VcDpX4GyD1mqCP8LkYe' has lost coins.

I imagine I've found some of the other addresses TTBit made.

I recently played around with this myself and found that SHA-256("test") has been used: http://blockchain.info/address/1HKqKTMpBTZZ8H5zcqYEWYBaaWELrDEXeE

Mounting a more sophisticated attack could get interesting, but I'm afraid of what I'll find.   Just remember to use strong passwords if you go the "brainwallet" way!
