2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What's your Aim? on: August 23, 2012, 10:45:07 AM
Does everyone here have an end goal with Bitcoin?

My primary goal is that i'm slowly building up enough BTC and buying\selling so I can eventually pay off my mortgage early.

Obviously I sometimes get sidetracked with buying honey from people on the forum but other than that things are going to plan so far.

What is everyone else aiming for in the long run?

6  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Fan Speed Bug? (ATI - 5850) on: March 19, 2012, 01:00:28 PM
Hi Guys,

Ive recently had to rebuild my mining PC:

Windows 7
1x XFX 5850
SDK 2.6
AMD 12.2 driver
cgminer 2.3.1

Im mining fine with cgminer but after around 15mins the fan speed will drop back to 56% for a couple of seconds before jumping back to the % I have it set at (90%), this then jumps back and forth every 5 minutes or so.
Ive uninstalled CCC leaving just the driver, ive flashed the cards bios to try and force the fan speed that way and ive also set the speed with MSI Afterburner, all with the same outcome.

Is this a known bug with the 12.2 driver?

Thanks for your time,
Mark

8  Economy / Lending / [OPEN] Upto 15BTC Loans - 5% on: February 27, 2012, 10:55:05 AM
Hi Guys,

I'm going to start doing small loans, and slowly work up to larger loans once my reputation has been established.

To start with i'm offering loans up to 15BTC @ 5% interest for anything up to 7 days. In time I will increase the value available and loan duration.

Example:

5BTC Loaned, 5.25 Returned
10BTC Loaned, 10.5BTC Returned
15BTC Loaned, 15.75BTC Returned

You must be able to prove in some way that you have successfully paid back a loan in the past, or have been involved in some other transaction on the forum where it is obvious that you have sent the funds successfully.

9  Economy / Services / UK Food Shop - Gauging Interest on: February 23, 2012, 09:32:34 AM
After reading a few new posts on here offering country specific services ive racked my brains and thought I could start selling UK foods that aren't easily available in other countries.

Im happy to post items upto about the size of a shoebox anywhere in the world for payment in BTC. (no glass jars or quickly perishable items though)

Drop me a PM or reply to the thread with requests and i'll provide quotes.
