When you look at the "neos" and compare it to the old version, the major irony is that "neos" would probably hate their "base version".
Neo-Nazis vs Nazis
Neo-Nazis are racist towards anything but white race. Nazis were racist too, but more keen to its time, they don't kill black people for being black people, were friendly to Arabs, Indians and Asiatics, but made differences on "white race", they weren't quite friendly to Slavs and don't consider Latinos proper whites. Their major targets, the only "races" they hate to termination ends, were gypsies (as they see them as totally useless) and jews (seen as the big world conspirator). Neo-Nazis are also way less of a communist and way more of a capitalist than Nazis.
Neo-Communists (neo-lefties, antifa, so on) vs Communists
Communists were, and still are, homophobic and xenophobic to the extreme, making here a tiny difference to Nazi racism, they don't have a "master race" but the local race is the "master race" of that said local. They are also very harsh on lazy unproductive people, which happens to be the majority of the neo-lefties' fabric.
These groups if leave in the same space where only them exist would kill each other, making a difference that at the first ones the Neos would probably kill the Nazis, as they are more violent, and the second one to be the real Communists to wipe the Neo ones.

Let's elevate the dialog and speak about our ideologies and what philosophic branches we fancy or otherwise? Here's my main philosophy views and why:
Core:
Epicureanism; because nothing really matters, no matter how important or how serious you think you are, life is just a short journey, eventually we all be forgotten, bury deep in the sands of time. So enjoy your ride, make as much of the World a Paradise it can be; there's no second tickets and most likely no afterlife (at least none of the known afterlife theories makes any sense at all).
Rationalism: because all subjects must be discussed upon reason and information.
Simple things of life
Christianity (New Testament strict - Marcionism); whereas OT is abhorrent and violent, NT removed of its "mystical stuff" can be a good philosophic source.
Opposing
Fascism (including all flavors; Nazism, Communism, Islam, and so on); because there're limits for what and how far you can go on stuck your nose into other people's affairs! Making it worse, most of fascists and similar ideologies believe to have an "one-size fits all" response for all humanity issues, making them far more of a problem than a solution.
Sophism: As the major enemy of Rationalism, Sophism intents that "pretend to be right" by using twisted or broken logic (fallacies) is more important than anything else.
Hypocrisy: Pretty much the same as above but on the realm of "appearing to do good" is more important than actually do any good at all.
Supremacist branches (Nazism, Islam, KKK, BLM and so on); because I believe it to be more fair if everyone has the same rights regardless of skin color, religion, ethnicity or whatever insane reason or excuse used to it.

Today I found myself remembering stuff I used to eat as kid, even begging my mother to do, that nowadays I can't see myself eating, and even makes me wonder if I still have a liver and why I don't have diabetes for eating that! Here's my list or weird stuff I fancied as a kid:
- Chicken hearts and livers. - Egg cores shaken with sugar. - Water mixed up with flour. - Knorr cubes.
Had you experienced this feeling also? What was that thing you loved to eat but that now just sounds like a lousy idea?

All this fuzz around the so called Muslim ban makes me wonder what will be Trump's undercover move. This fuzz is creating so much noise, so it gives buffer for anything else to pass barely noticed or even unnoticed. You may see Trump as "an idiot", but don't underestimate him! He's a damn smart one!
Any ideas of what he might be seeking? As for me I can't see through, have no clue, just that awkward sensation he's looking for something else.

Out of the normal relaxed atheism, as it used to be, we seams to have a growing branch of a special "atheists" that act as much as the next religious fanatic!
This "special atheists", pretty much common at US, so we can call them "American Atheists" (or AA) act like if they can't live without strict good and evil, they uphold their beliefs as it were the supreme truth, like to call it facts and often scientific facts to things science doesn't even come close to, such as human philosophic affairs. Let's then start to examine this "new religion":
- It's mostly based on "studies" from "experts".
As result there are now thousands of concurrent "studies", most without any scientific value at all (sample too small, bias interpretation of data, non-repeatability, and so on) and paradoxical to its peers, and here, as religious do, they cherry pick the "studies" they found convenient to their belief.
- Anyone denying "MY" facts is an idiot.
The "supreme morality" of the group makes them so wise... It looks like they don't believe there's no God, but instead there's a job vacancy for being God and they want to apply for it.
- If you're not with us, then you're against us!
This is common ground to religious fanatics, they deal quite harshly to any criticism on their views. Moderation is out of the scope.
- The Dogma
The so called harmful part of religions isn't their crosses, crescents, yin-yangs or whatever symbols they use, isn't also praying - praying is somewhat the psychologist of the poor -, but the dogma: The incontestable truths they are meant to react violently if challenged! And in here, the AA's have a LOT of them! Some are taking just as "to look opposite of what they recognize as their opponents", for AA's this means Christians, such as being "pro-choice", others are plain bull as feminism, lgbt rights, free-for-all economics and so on...
It won't surprise me that in a short these groups start to resource terrorism.

It looks to me that Trump managed to lure the press into what I called the Trump Effect or Press Overflow. It works as such;
Your popularity is low with press and most reporters don't like you, so they will pick in any negative thing they can to put you down. Instead of trying to improve your popularity, you start saying the most absurdities, giving them material to keep putting you down. Keep doing this for a while and make sure you provide material to put your popularity down quite often, daily if possible.
After you reach rock bottom, increase the interval when you provide material, this will make those who were chasing you for all this long to "create their own material" - but make sure the interval isn't long enough for them to lose interest and cut the chase.
Shortly after you have reach the shifting point. Now the people is so fed up with news about you and so confuse due to the material "created by the press", that the reporters will look like pure psychos with conspiracy theories problems. At this point your popularity will start growing as press' credibility gets flushed down the drain. As a side effect many people will not openly support you, but in the secret of a voting booth things turn different.
Trump managed to did it for 2 whole years this far... and counting!

If you talked about Bitcoin with your friends you most likely already listened to this "argument". It's not false, Bitcoin has in fact no physical existence, but nor does the printed money we call fiat. The question is then on how to deal with this argument, in a short and easily understandable way, without scare them of by knowing the bills on their wallet are no more than regular papers representing x units of the virtual currency y, which is backed by thin air and its supply is limited only by the paper and ink in stock or the printing capacities of the machine that does them?

Something got me wonder: Why are there terrorists?! If we go through history, we see they never achieved anything at all. Terrorist attacks are pointless, suicidal and, ultimately, stupid.
Starting by that Catholic prick, which was used in a movie and became anonymous' mask. Well, UK didn't turn one inch Catholic due to his attack attempt. Later on late XIX you get the anarchist attacks... no country got anything near anarchist due to it. Same for Spartacus League on Germany. ETA and IRA did zero on make the territories independent from Spain or UK. Palestinian terrorism just made it worse for themselves, the more the terrorism the more Israel grows on power. Eventually the US-supported Talibans got to power on Afghanistan, but not because their terrorism "was so good that scared the Russians", it just happened the wall came down, the soviets collapsed and it was left alone. So they got there by chance.
Now we come to today's terrorists. «Uh! I'm so bad! I killed 100 parisian peasants!»... Dude! I don't mean to disappoint you, but there are about 20 million people in Paris, even if by any miracle you could do it everyday, about 300 years later you would be half-way from depleting Paris of its population! To not mention you step on the toes of someone who just doesn't make a parking lot out of the rat hole you came from if it doesn't want to or may set a drone so deep in your arse that your friends would need to scrape your pieces out of the asphalt.
Who actually wins with terrorism are those who are "opposing the terrorists". Strategically then the only place for terrorism is to perform false flag attacks, shake the crowd and empower the viper that made it, such as nationalists, fascists, communists and all sort of scum that feeds on fear and false hope. Anything other than this is plain stupid and pointless.
This said, what to think about things like ISIS, al-Nusra, Hezbollah and all that crap? Are they a false flag? Or a gathering of retards?

For how long we can run a system where we ask people who can barely, or even can't, manage their own households, who is suitable for manage the whole country?!
Furthermore, we seams to come to the ultimate Democratic bull, when people think they can vote for anything! I own you x? Let me vote here with my folks to decide if I own you or not. Why don't people just vote against gravity and jump of a cliff?!
There's no limit for the number of idiots, the only known limit is the number of voters...

This is still way sketchy on my head, but an idea to slim down the blockchain, once all coins were created, could be to create a secondary chain, making it go on dual chain for a while, dropping the heaviest after some time. This secondary chain would start with 1000 reserved blocks that would consist on a pre-mine of the 21 million BTC and distribution of those coins by the existing addresses with positive balance. During a while any change at one chain would reflect at the other, until it seams to be no longer need for keep the old one.

Keeping the current trend, it seams we're heading towards a deep economic crisis, probably in a way that may match 1928. Trust in the markets never been so low. Basically due to turn to old bad practices which lead to 2009's crisis.
So, how do you think Bitcoin will sail through this storm? Will it excel as a refuge or sink along? This may also be the first time Bitcoin has to face a real world crisis.

As a coder, my brain developed in a way that when I read a piece of code I can compile it on-the-fly at my own memory and run it. This allows me to know what the computer will do with it when I put the machine to it. I believe many or most of other coders share this very same ability. This ability makes us logical, and here we often come to a clash with some general population, due to their laisser-faire of cherry picking. Sorry folks: WE CAN'T DO IT! In the very same way your computer will not jump blocks of code based on illogical momentary convenience, we can't ignore some instructions that are there. The logical operators are AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR, NOT and XNOR, there's no such thing a CPICKING! So your common religious, philosophical or political views that "are good if you ignore a bunch of inconvenient entries", otherwise are just suitable for psychopaths and with extremely dangerous and violent outcomes, are, for us, just suitable for psychopaths and with extremely dangerous and violent outcomes. If you want us to ignore rules, make sure they aren't there in the first place! We're also used to keep in memory loads of variables, objects, arrays... we can easily compute their interactions to peek the final result. Hope you understand and, if you come across an ideology you're unsure about; ask a coder to analyze it.

Every time a new thing comes around to the web, its abuse seams unavoidable! Happened with Java, with loads of ugly marquee animations at late 90's, happened with Macromedia's DreamWeaver, with all site suddenly looking the very same, happened with Flash, with loads of useless painful applications, sometimes even with (bad) music, and it's happening now with Javascript, more precisely with jQuery. jQuery framework sure makes it easier to create scripts, but PLEASE, don't overdo it! It's amazing that everyone now adds jQuery sometimes just for a simple $("#id") call - JS already supports getElementById('id') folks, no need to load a framework for that! And then animations and useless or shortly timed ajax/DOM calls, making a simple site to fire up to over 200Mb of RAM per page, if not crashing the browser, as a late crappy "snowflakes" animation does. Bottom line, it's OK to use JS, but not OK to abuse it! When you concept a website keep in mind your visitors' hardware and if your site really should require an i7 CPU and 1 Tb of RAM to visit.

Seriously, they got me confused there! Left-wingers aren't known to be friendly to religion or care about Gods. If we strip religions down to rational level they're just ideologies and doctrines. Under this view, the most similar to Islam is Nazism, both blame Jews for everything, both are supremacist, both are totalitarian... So... what are those guys defending?! What supporting arguments do they have?! Ad populum, because they are too many?!

Don't you find it funny to see the reactions of those useful idiots to when Christians, unlikely to go on physical violence against them, say something awkward and when Muslims, much likely to engage violence when facing criticism, do the same? They jump on the "easy target", Christianity, like wolves, and act like puppies to Islam. Promptly jumping on 1000+ excuses for Muslims behavior and speech in order to hide their own cowardice.
