I can't be the only one who knows this right? How do you "LOOSE" bitcoins? Like shake some kind of change purse and watch em jiggle?

My usual buyers haven't responded yet and localbitcoins won't let me contact anyone if I have an empty wallet on there so here I go again. If you can meet in person in the NW burbs to buy some BTC PM me with your phone number and when you are available

So I went to localbitcoins today to see if there is anyone new in my area, and now I have to fill my wallet in order to contact potential buyers. I'm talking cash in person deals too, not any online selling BS. I have to get this out: WHAT THE FUCK, THIS IS RETARDED. I'm trying to contact someone who buys minimum $1k worth, so I'm supposed to send 1k to some fucking website just so I can message someone? idts Don't know when they started this, but that's the last time I waste my time on there. I'd probably even have to fill my online "wallet" just to put a sell ad now. My coins stay in MY wallet until I spend or sell them. Anything else is reckless.

I'm in BTC for the long haul, but when you get in at $3 sometimes you just gotta say "Fuck it, lets party; strippers, coke and jerry springer can suck my...." This offer is only good for as long as I"m coherent on NYE
PM your number so I can call.

I have bitcoind -daemon running on a webserver, everything is working fine and I can control it from the server but I can't wrap my head around json-rpc, I read some about it and it seems like some command line arguments, I guess I can learn it but in pursuit of laziness I'd just like to connect via a client. Basically, I just want to check the balance, not even send anything.
Maybe 2 years ago I used spesmilo to do what I wanted, but it doesn't work after .8x something. It was so nice and easy. Tried bitcoin-js-remote, followed to the letter but my w8 PC doesn't like it, I think it's a java thing since nothing is clickable, doesn't work in my browser at all.
So is there any clients around that allow this or do I have to just learn about json-rpc?

My friend in Shenzhen sent me this pic alluding that it may be a rig in said city. That's it, no other info. He asked if we could rent a cheap office and make one too. I don't know much about mining or equipment, except that I missed the boat. Still interesting though. Hopefully more info will come later. Anyone have any idea what these could be, and how many GH/s this "rig" could do?

Something is messed up with the search on localbitcoins, everything shows 0 miles away and it's the same 5 people no matter the search, so I thought I'd try here.
Still stuck here and still living off of my BTC until I go home ( To Nash ) and looking to dump ~8 BTC. I'll even do bitstamp x .97.
I'm actually in the NW burbs, but I know a good place with wifi and great microbrews we can meet at in Mt Prospect.
PM me if you want to trade, we'll exchange phone numbers then.

Ever since bitcoin has gained mainstream attention, the US federal government and news ( which I believe have a relationship ) have made a smear campaign about BTC and it's illegitimacy. Their favorite weapon of choice to shoot BTC down was mentioning that it can be used to buy illicit goods online and that it was easy to launder. I know they couldn't ignore SR, of course, but I do find it amusing that by arresting the owner and shutting down the website, they have actually further legitimized BTC, which I believe is kind of the opposite of what they really want in the end.
Now what are they going to say to smack BTC down?

I sent .05 BTC over 3 hours ago now, and it is still not showing up on blockchain.info or blockexplorer.com. Shows pending in the client, and 0 confirmations on the website I sent it to. Transaction ID ec992a35d33df73c2e2382e8fe156f8d42fb537b14f83c12daefd0a085ee6b28 Should have went to 15Vzuez85UEvRMzD1M1ypWBFDDd2VgsJCW
I of course sent the regular fee. I do have an incoming transaction, unconfirmed of .5 BTC that was sent to me without fee so that is normal to take a while, but electrum is only supposed to send confirmed funds so that can't be it.
Transactions getting sent from electrum have been slow for me since it got stuck on that block.
I know sometimes poop happens and confirmations take a while, but I've always seen it on blockchain or blockexplorer without confirmations.
Also, I'm kind of confused how the website could see it, but not blockchain/blockexplorer.

Hello,
I've had my bitcoin client running for 2 days now and it is still not caught up. Was on 5.x, upgraded to 6.2 today. I have plenty of connections, that is not the problem.
The files blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat in my btc folder are staying the same size and bitcoin-qt is showing that I have downloaded 182553 blocks. It's also saying last downloaded block was 6 days ago. Yesterday it said 5 days ago. As of right now, the latest block is 183572. It only took 2 hours to load the blocks when I first started bitcoin-qt 8 months ago, so 48 hours makes me think something is wrong.
Using W7 64 bit, not a firewall or port issue.
I'd really like to figure this out as I should have been receiving bitcoins since 6 days ago. Got nothing in my wallet since it won't catch up.
The debug log keeps showing these 2 errors in succession, I edited out the hashes a little bit since I'm not sure if publicly displaying that can compromise my anonymity or security.
ERROR: FetchInputs() : dxxxxxxxe4 mempool Tx prev not found f3xxxxxx44 ERROR: CTxMemPool::accept() : FetchInputs failed dxxxxxxx4
I'd appreciate the help, can't post in the help section since I don't have enough posts
