1  Economy / Scam Accusations / User "LSD25" is a scammer on: May 18, 2016, 09:35:52 PM
I purchased a game from him for 0.06 BTC a week or so ago and got a message today from Steam saying the item was revoked from my account due to fraudulent payment on his behalf.

His profile is here:;u=833027

After a little looking around, he is also a member on reddit by the name of "dogeitrade". His profile can be found here:

He's active on the "r/fraudnet" subreddit and openly talks about scamming other users with Paypal accounts, etc.

His Steam account name is "Jmorgan2016" and should definitely be avoided.

I would also avoid his website:

I messaged him earlier today, and actually talked to him through Steam (where I'm assuming he is continuing to scam people). He told me that he was "only reselling the code he bought from someone else" and when I asked him to either purchase a new copy of the game, or refund my 0.06 BTC, his reply was "can't help you with that".
2  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] R9 290X - MSI, Gigabyte, Asus on: May 18, 2016, 08:21:55 AM
As the title states, I'm looking to grab another 290X. I'm pretty much only looking for MSI, Gigabyte or Asus cards, but will entertain offers for other brands. I just bought a new free sync 1440p monitor and would like to add a second 290X to get a bit of extra performance until the next GPUs from AMD and Nvidia are available.

Escrow will likely be used (unless you send first), and I will cover the fees.

Comment or PM with offers. I'll be really interested if the price is right.
3  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] - Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro 2-in-1 Ultrabook on: September 24, 2015, 12:16:21 AM
As the title says I'm looking for a particular laptop. There are a few different options, but I'm looking for the following:

i7-4510u - 8GB Ram - 256GB SSD - Good to Excellent condition

These sell on ebay around $550 shipped so I think it's more than fair to offer $500 in BTC (shipped to 61820) for this laptop. After eBay and Paypal fees, you're looking at around $475 if it sells at $550. Escrow through OgNasty since I've used him multiple times in the past.

Post in this thread or shoot me a PM (PM's will be faster) if you've got what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!
4  Economy / Computer hardware / [FS] - Asus Xonar DSX 7.1 Channel Audio Card on: August 18, 2015, 08:05:09 PM
I'm selling this card because I just never used it enough to warrant the money I spent on it. I used this card for almost exactly a year now. It works perfectly and isn't even that dusty (lol) !

Comes in full retail packaging.

For more info on the card check Newegg or Amazon.

With those prices in mind, I'm looking to get $42 shipped. Shipping is to the US ONLY. I accept Bitcoin or verified Paypal.

Post or PM to contact me (PM is usually faster).
5  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] - G.Skill DDR3 Ripjaws X and Pis on: August 02, 2015, 10:17:47 PM
I'm looking for only a few sets in particular.

The way that G.Skill marks their serial numbers is very particular. As a result, I'm looking for kits which have "1040" for serial digits 5-8 as shown in the picture below. I'm only looking for Ripjaws X or Pis and will pay top dollar in BTC. We can use escrow with OG.

Desired S/N:

Ripjaws X:

As always, thanks in advance for looking!
6  Economy / Currency exchange / [Chicago Western Suburbs] Buying BTC with USD in Person! on: June 14, 2015, 03:46:11 PM
As the title so eloquently states, I'm looking to buy BTC with cash in the western suburbs of Chicago. I'd like to meet somewhere with public Wifi, but I suppose any public place would work as I could access my machines from my phone.

First purchase would be either $750 or $1500. I'm waiting on a different local seller, so $750 might be spoken for. I'm aiming to pay 2.5% of the exchange rate, but I'm willing to negotiate on final pricing. I'm not looking for guys asking anything near 10%, so save yourself some time if that's what you're asking. I could buy from LocalBitcoins if I was that crazy.

Keep in mind that I am willing to drive to meet up, so we could find a convenient location so you don't have to travel far at all. This could be an easy 2.5-5% just for heading to Starbucks/McDonald's for 15 minutes.

I work during the day, but feel free to get in touch and we can work something out. The sooner the better on this deal, I've been sitting on cash and just watching the price go up for a few weeks now and would like to buy coins back. Posting here is fine, but negotiating and setting up meetings will be done via PM. I typically respond to PMs within a few hours.

Thanks for looking!
7  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] - Intel Core i5/i7 Processor - Socket 1155 - !!!FOUND!!! on: April 19, 2015, 11:52:58 PM
As the title says, I'm looking for an i5/i7 processor that fits socket LGA1155. These chips are Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge variants. I'm only looking for quad core chips, and hyper-threading is a nice bonus.

Chips I would be interested include (but are not limited to):

Sandy Bridge
i5 2500, i7 2600, i5 2500k, i7 2600k

Ivy Bridge
i5 3570, i7 3770, i5 3570k, i7 3770k

I'm not looking to pay retail prices so don't ask for them. I'm also not looking to buy a BNIB chip unless it's a good deal. I've bought plenty of used chips and never had a problem with one (they are damn near impossible to kill unless they've had way too much voltage pumped through them for way too long).

If you've got the original HSF assembly, it's also a bonus.

Payment will be via BTC and I will be using escrow (I've dealt with OgNasty in the past and would not hesitate to use him again). Shipping is to US zip code 60190, and I don't need it quickly so don't try telling me shipping is $20 or some crazy number like that. I use USPS flat rate boxes all the time and have fantastic results for less than $10 (which includes tracking and $50 of insurance).

Post in this thread, or send me a PM. I respond to most PM's the same day.
8  Economy / Goods / WTB - '04-'06 Yamaha FZ6 on: May 20, 2014, 11:36:33 PM
Not sure how well this will go, but I figure I might as well try and find a seller.

I'm looking to buy a Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle. Preferably 2004, 2005, or 2006. Mileage isn't a big issue as long as the bike has been taken care of. I would prefer the dark blue color, but I don't really care all that much.

Price range is below $4,000.

I am in the western suburbs of Chicago, so if anyone is in this area and is selling, please contact me! Thanks in advance!
9  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking to Sell BTC on: May 16, 2014, 10:46:25 PM
I'm going to be buying a motorcycle this month (if everything goes to plan), so I'll be needing to sell a few BTC to help cover the initial costs.

This isn't so much a RIGHT NOW ad, but more of a survey of potential buyers. I bank at Chase, so I'm not sure if cash deposits are an option. I will accept a cashier's check (which will be deposited prior to releasing escrow), Paypal (if and ONLY if you are a well trusted buyer), or even a personal meet up (I am in the Chicago Suburbs). I've met up with a colleague before and as long as I have wifi access I can send the coins remotely. I also have my Dwolla account, but you'll still need to be a verified buyer.

I'm not familiar with many other payment options, but I am open to quick, low cost methods.

I don't have any ridiculous fees or shit like that. I just want to sell a few coins (around $3000 USD at the time) and get my money for them.

I will be using escrow and I don't mind paying the fees because of it.

If you think you're trusted, then you can post in this thread, or PM me. I try to respond quickly, but keep in mind that I am human.

Thanks for looking!

10  Economy / Goods / [WTB] - Sennheiser HD 598 on: March 24, 2014, 05:49:06 AM
I'm looking for a set of cans. I don't want top o' the line just yet, but I want a reputable brand and I know Sennheiser makes great headphones.

The set I'm looking for is this one:

I'm really not needing brand new cans, so I'm not looking to pay much more than say $130 shipped (because I could buy them from a friend for $130 in USD, and because these are over 3 years old). I will pay in BTC, and I will gladly pay first for reputable members. I would prefer escrow for those not well known and I'll gladly cover the fees myself.

Shipping would be to 60190, or 61820, depending upon when the deal is made. Post or PM deals. I usually respond pretty quickly and I try to be easy to deal with.  Grin

11  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Solid State Drive (SSD) 120-256GB in size on: August 13, 2013, 11:54:21 PM
Well I hate to admit that I'm still using a dinosaur in my current computer (which is otherwise pretty high end), but I am. To anyone familiar with the OCZ Vertex Series of drives, I have an ORIGINAL Vertex. Not a Vertex 2, 3 or 4. The first series. I bought it back when $150 for 60GB was a steal.  Shocked Anyway, it's showing it's age now and the size is a bit of a pain since I have to clear the drive often even with 3.5TB of extra space.

As the title states I'm looking for a SSD that's anywhere from 120GB to 256GB in size. Sata 3 is a must... it's almost 2014 for crying out loud. Must be TRIM supporting (what drives aren't though?). I'm looking for MLC and not TLC. SLC used to be available in large sizes, but must be cost prohibitive now. I don't need any particular size drive because it's just going in a desktop, so don't try selling me a "slim laptop drive" and trying to get more.

I can buy a brand new, in box, with warranty Mushkin drive for $.68/GB so I really won't look at offers higher than that unless it's a fantastic drive. I'm not against buying used, but things like limited write drives are one of those items you have to be careful with. Used drives will probably take a large hit from retail, UNLESS you can prove the drive was not used for many hours. Post or PM anything you've got!
12  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Asus Nexus 7 Charging Dock on: August 13, 2013, 05:12:29 PM
I'm looking for one of these since my charging cable has gone bad:

I can pay in BTC or LTC and shipping is to zip code 60190.
13  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Nintendo DS (Lite) on: June 02, 2013, 03:05:36 PM
I'm looking to buy a Nintendo ds, or Nintendo ds lite. Must be working 100%, come with a charger and stylus. Shipping is to 60190. If you have any Nintendo ds Pokemon games, I will entertain those offers as well.

Pm or post with offers!
14  Economy / Goods / Checking Sellers - Sport Bikes Near Chicago, IL on: March 31, 2013, 07:54:50 AM
So I'm definitely not ready to buy, but I've always wanted a sport bike, and with the trips I'll be making for school next year, a bike really makes the most sense when it comes to parking, gas, and cost of ownership. So I'm throwing this out there just to see if there even is anyone in my area with a "starter" type bike. I would pay with BTC, or sell my coins for cash. I'm looking for anything 650cc and under (I have experience with dirt bikes, quads and the such so I can drive them all easily, but I've not driven anything with nearly as  much power as a street bike). Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, any other good, name-brand bikes with low miles, clean titles, and preferably haven't been dropped. I'm not planning on dropping it (who ever does plan on it?!  Huh ), but it'd be nice to have a decent resale value when I'm done with it.
15  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Bioshock Infinite - Steam PRE-ORDER ONLY on: March 26, 2013, 03:40:19 PM
As the title says, I'm looking to buy a steam pre-order code, because it comes with the extra goodies (X-com, genuine TF2 items). If you have this, we can work out a deal. Smiley Hopefully getting it today, if there are sellers out there.
16  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB - Logitech Gaming Mouse on: March 22, 2013, 04:22:04 PM
PM or post offers that you have. Payment in BTC. I like the G500, but others are welcome.
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Low Reported Hashrate with LTC mining on: March 07, 2013, 04:16:44 AM
I'm not 100% sure if this is the place to put a thread like this (pools section, or alt. currencies section), but either way I hope you fellas can help me out.

I just recently switched over to LTC mining on my remaining GPU's because the BTC difficulty has been going no where but up. I've got a 5850 and a 5830 running. Together they report 550-600khash/sec, which I've seen to be in the ball park of where they should be at roughly stock clocks. I'm mining with cgminer 2.10.5, and the pool I'm using is So the mining end of the operation appears to be working flawlessly. However, when I check my account details and such at the pool's website, I have never seen a reported hashrate over 125khash/s. This issue was happening when I mined at as well. According to the calculator on their sites, I should be in the neighborhood of 15LTC/day. But I've been 3-4LTC/day instead, so the hashrate online isn't being reported wrong.

I was wondering if anyone else had seen this, or if they had any ideas on how to fix this. Thanks in advance!
18  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] High-end Gaming-type Video Cards on: March 05, 2013, 09:46:49 PM
Along with bitcoins, one of my other hobbies is sub-zero overclocking of computer components. There is a site which tracks points and submissions with various pieces of hardware ( Because of the wide array of hardware out there, I'd like to gather some points for myself. With that said, I thought I would come to you guys for some of the cards I am looking for:

-Reference 7970's (please don't offer abused mining cards) that I could hopefully RMA if need be.
-"Suped up" 7970's, which include, but are not limited to the MSI 7970 Lightning and Asus 7970 Matrix Edition.
-"Suped up" GTX680's, again, include but not limited to EVGA 680 Classified and MSI 680 Lightning.
-"Suped up" GTX580's. For this one, I am only looking for Asus 580 Matrix, or MSI 580 Lightning cards.
-Any cards that you think I might want because they are slightly older gaming graphics cards.

I can pay via Bitcoin or Dwolla, I have a bit of rep on this site (but I haven't made a thread to track it all yet), and I also have a Heatware account here:
I am a well established member at quite a few computer forums (the main one being where I have almost 8,500 posts).
Feel free to ask questions, offer cards you think I'd be interested in, or just drop in with some information.

Thanks in advance!

In light of the litecoin bubble, the price is now $295 shipped to 60190 for nice reference 7970's.
19  Economy / Goods / [WTB] - Liquid Nitrogen Dewar (Taylor Wharton, Union Carbide, Linde) on: December 31, 2012, 09:21:52 PM
I'm looking into buying a Taylor Wharton brand liquid Nitrogren dewar. I'm looking for an LD series dewar between 25-50 L in capacity. I can pay with BTC, and shipping will be to 60190 (yes, this will cost a bit to ship, but the cheapest shipping possible will be used to cut costs). I have a few transactions on this forum, and I have heatware here:

Pm or post with offers.
20  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: Reference 5870 Replacement Fan on: August 20, 2012, 02:38:30 PM
I need to buy a replacement fan since my reference 5870's fan is dying as we speak. I saw the post from crypto anarchy, but I figured there has to be someone else with a more competitive price that wants BTC. Smiley

PM with details, I need one, but may buy two if the price is right.
