21  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 58xx Card Power Consumption on: July 24, 2012, 04:04:38 AM
I'm looking for some power consumption numbers so I can correctly choose the power supply to run my rigs with.

I'd like some accurate information on the following:

5870 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

5850 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

5830 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out. Smiley
22  Economy / Goods / Another Selling TF2 Items Thread!!! on: July 13, 2012, 06:02:17 PM
Just like the title says, I'm selling any trade-able items in my TF2 inventory. My inventory can be found here: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197972334373/inventory/

I'm not really sure on prices, so just PM with offers. I only have a few big ticket items, so I'm basically just trying to sell the S. Machina, S. Sniper Rifle w/ Headshot kills and the S. Knife. Everything is for sale, though, so if you're interested in the other items just let me know. PM first with offers, then we can talk on Steam. Only accepting BTC, not looking to trade for other items.

Thanks for looking!
23  Economy / Goods / WTB: Weller WLC100 or Other Well-branded Soldering Station on: July 02, 2012, 02:45:59 AM
I'm looking to pick up this soldering iron (or very similar) in the near future. If anyone on here already has one that is in GREAT (not good, GREAT) shape, then I will entertain those offers. Otherwise, I'll be looking for someone to either buy the item (items if I get extra tips and some solder) from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Weller-WLC100-40-Watt-Soldering-Station/dp/B000AS28UC, or to buy me a giftcard in the value of the items I will be buying (in either case, we can use a free escrow service).

I have done a few transactions on here (bought a few steam items from Dando, pcie extenders from scifimike and some cards from chungenhung) as well as more transactions on computer forums (see heatware: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=66694).

I would like to pay all in BTC (approx 9-10BTC), so I will need roughly the same number of days to mine the coins I need. I'm just posting this thread now to see who would be willing to help me out. Smiley

PS. If my credibility is still in doubt, I am willing to provide state authorized ID, as well as post the links to the threads which contain my transactions in BTC.

Thanks in advance!

24  Other / Off-topic / BFL Trade in questions on: June 25, 2012, 10:18:15 PM
Really sorry if this has been posted somewhere else already, but there are pages of new threads and post about the ASIC miners...  Roll Eyes

My quick question is this: If you don't buy your single directly from BFL, can you still trade in for the 8-pack of of Jalapeņo poppers?

LOL Thanks in advance everyone!
25  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: HD 5870 on: June 22, 2012, 05:17:40 PM
Looking to buy just one. I had purchased one and it arrived dead so I need a replacement. I don't currently have the BTC to cover the whole cost, but I have about half if you want to deal in BTC. I can do PP though via gift. PM or post offers. Thanks in advance! Shipping would be to 60190.
26  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB: 1x--->1x PCI-e extension cables on: June 15, 2012, 10:23:47 PM
I need three of these, preferably already cut to fit a 16x card. Shipping to 60190. I'm looking to pay in BTC rather than USD. Thanks in advance.
27  Economy / Computer hardware / WTS: Sapphire 5830 Extreme on: June 14, 2012, 10:58:01 PM
I just got a steal of a price on a 5870, so I'll be taking that card and adding it to my miner. Since I only have so many slots, I'm replacing one of my 5830's.

The card is currently mining, and the 5870 is on the way, so it'll be a few days before I can ship the card out, but I'll check interest while I wait.

The card runs just fine, and I don't like to have my cards hot so it's been in the air conditioned, dry basement. I run the fans at 100%, and this fan is starting to show some wear. The fan does spin up, but it's on its way out. I've just had the fan unplugged, and I've placed one of my own 120mm fans in front to keep it cool, and temperatures are actually better than with the stock fan. Running 875/300, the card has been pulling 290mhash/sec on cgminer for the duration of its life in my possession. I'll blow the card out with compressed air, and reconnect the fan before shipping, or whatever the buyer would like.

Don't mind the makeshift case and stand.  Roll Eyes The poor quality is from my phone.  Embarrassed

It's obviously the farthest right card with the fan on the front.

I'm tentatively pricing this at 17BTC shipped US ONLY!!!!! or the USD equivalent via Paypal.

I cannot stress this enough, but US BUYERS ONLY!!!!!!
28  Economy / Goods / 32GB Sandisk Micro SD Card with Adapter on: June 10, 2012, 03:41:56 AM
I grabbed two of these and it turns out I only need one, so I'll pass it on to someone who can use it.

It comes with the brand new micro SD card, and the micro SD to SD adapter in a nice little jewel case. The card is Class 4, and performs as such. This is a nice little add-on for cell phones, or digital cameras. No need to switch out your memory card anymore.

These retail for $30+, but I'd just like to get back what I paid. I'm looking for $25 USD shipped. I accept Paypal or bitcoins if you roll that way.

SHIPPING IS US ONLY
29  Economy / Goods / $25 Samsung Media Hub Gift Card on: June 07, 2012, 04:13:38 PM
I got this gift card with my Galaxy S II, and I don't plan on buying any movies or TV shows so I figured I would pass it on to someone who will use it.

The card is worth $25, so take 10% off and I'll take $22.50 in BTC, or Paypal. I'm willing to do half before, then the second half after confirmation of the card. I can simply pm the code, or mail within the U.S. via USPS, it doesn't much matter to me. I'll get pictures up if anyone wants them.

I have made a couple of small transactions on this forum with Dando Realita (sorry if I spelled that wrong) as well a couple large transactions with various members (for some mining cards). Aside from that, my heat can be find here:

If you have any questions, feel free to post or pm.

30  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Asics Japan Lite-ning Originals on: May 11, 2012, 05:00:42 AM
Just as the title says, these are what I'm looking for:

Blue, Asics Japan Lite-ning track spikes (the first version) in a men's size 10.

I know it's pretty far fetched that these could be found here, but ebay is turning up nothing, and I'm just throwing it out there.

Not quite sure on the price yet. There are 3 newer versions of this shoe that are comparably better. I'm just interested in these based upon comfort (compared to the others).

Pm or post in here (PM will be faster) if you've got a pair, or know where to find a pair at a decent price.

31  Economy / Goods / College Books for Sale!!! on: March 31, 2012, 10:56:34 PM
Up for sale are a few books that I no longer need. All books have been used but are still in fantastic shape. Save yourself the money and buy used!

First book for sale is: Biochemistry by Campbell and Farrell: Sixth Edition - $15+shipping

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn119/ChanceCoats123/033112174458.jpg

Second book is: Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology by Martini, Nath and Batholomew: Ninth Edition $100+shipping

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn119/ChanceCoats123/033112174639.jpg

Third book is: Modern Database Management by Hoffer, Ramesh and Topi: Tenth Edition $80+shipping

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn119/ChanceCoats123/033112174607.jpg

Final book is: Resources of the Earth; Origin, use and Environmental Impact by Craig, Vaughan and Skinner: Third Edition $1+shipping

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn119/ChanceCoats123/033112174544.jpg

If you do any research, you'll find these should be pretty good prices for the books. All prices are below the used prices for the same books on Amazon.com, so this at the very least is competitive there. I accept USD via paypal or the equivalent in BTC (price will be good for a half hour of quote from me). Shipping will basically be $10 as the books will be shipped in a medium flatrate box via USPS with enough padding to keep them safe. I SHIP US ONLY. I've got heatware under this username and have made a few transactions on here as well.
32  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Need a little riser help... on: February 25, 2012, 12:52:28 AM
I got a pair of risers today and three 5830 extremes. My rig has a Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P (2 x16 slots and 3 1x slots). Windows recognizes the two cards in the 16x slots, but not the 1x slots? When running off of risers, is it just plug and play?

This is my first time doing this, so thanks in advance!
33  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB two PCIe 1x to PCIe 16x adapter/extender on: February 15, 2012, 04:38:40 AM
I need a couple of these for mining cards. I'm not willing to pay the outrageous prices over at "cablesrus" so I'm turning to the rest of the population here. I can get them for cheap on Ebay, but I'd like to help out people that are a little "closer" to me. I'd like to get two for ~$8 shipped to me, but I'm willing to negotiate a bit. Thanks in advance!
34  Economy / Computer hardware / WTB 1 or 2 5830's - $80 each Max on: February 14, 2012, 05:00:42 AM
Looking for US sellers of HD 5830's. I would prefer a brand that offers a warranty based upon serial number in case I need to RMA the cards (Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, a few others I can't remember so offer up). Not looking to spend more than $80 shipped. I'd like one and will think about buying two (if the price is right (think $155 shipped for two)). Payment will be via Paypal. I know it's slightly frowned upon, but I haven't amassed enough BTC to buy the parts I want yet.

Thanks in advance!

Heatware here: http://heatware.com/eval.php?id=66694 I'm well established on other forums (links in my heatware profile). Overclockers.com/forums is my most active forum (3 year member with 7k+ posts), but XtremeSystems is also active for me.
35  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5850 + 5870 Mining on: February 11, 2012, 09:51:16 PM
I'm always searching for cards to add to my mining fleet, but with the inflated prices of 5870's it's difficult to find the cards in the price range I want. I can occasionally find 5850's though. I have space in two rigs for one card each. One rig is empty (not currently running ) and the other is running with a 5870 right now. I would add to the running rig first, obviously, but my question becomes this:

If I'm running a 5870 and and 5850 in the same rig, will the 5870 only produce the mhash of the 5850? I'm wondering because when you crossfire a 5850 and a 5870, the 5870 drops to the clocks/performance of the 5850. But is crossfire required for mining, or can I simply plug the card in and the device manager will see it, and I start mining?

Is anyone currently doing this? If so I would sincerely appreciate any and all advice you can give me. Thanks in advance!!!
