Am späten Abend des 14. April 2016 kam es im rheinland-pfälzischen Rülzheim, in Stuttgart sowie in Weissach zum polizeilichen Zugriff, bei dem insgesamt fünf Tatverdächtige im Alter zwischen 21 und 60 Jahren festgenommen wurden.

Die Staatsanwaltschaft Verden, Zentralstelle für Internetkriminalität wirft den Tatverdächtigen vor, als Gruppierung „Chemical-Love" über ein vorwiegend deutschsprachiges Dark-Market Forum sowie über einen eigenen Webshop (https://chemical-love.to), der sowohl im offenen Internet (Clearnet) sowie über das Tornetzwerk (Darknet) online erreichbar war, Kokain und diverse synthetische Drogen vertrieben zu haben. Sichergestellt wurden ca. 54 kg Amphetamin, ca. 4 kg Heroin, rund 1,3 kg Kokain und etwa 25.000 Ecstasy Tabletten.

Die Bestellung der Betäubungsmittel auf dem Dark-Market Forum erfolgte mittels foreninternem Messengerdienst, die Bestellung über den Webshop anhand eines gängigen Warenkorbsystems. Die angebotenen Betäubungsmittel wurden in einer Gesamtübersicht bebildert dargestellt. Jedes angebotene Betäubungsmittel war außerdem einzeln anwählbar.
