1  Bitcoin / Mining / Butterflylabs has the worst customer service in the world. on: July 24, 2013, 07:45:48 PM
Butterflylabs has the worst customer service in the world.
I got a 25% discount voucher because I ordered in July. And I decided to use it, to buy a Jalapeno. So I ordered one and at the moment I was ready to pay, MS Internet Explorer went all ape sh1t. To keep the story short. I cannot order a Jalapeno with 25% discount now because BFL tells me I already used the voucher. I did not yet buy anything of them with the voucher so how can it be used already? I contacted BFL customer support and explained my problem and what went wrong. There answer: go F*ck yourself! . And I'm still waiting on my SC Little Single, that's not going to arrive before June 2015 or something like that.

BFL: Unfortunately not. It is a one time voucher.
ME : Can you revalidate it?
BFL: Well, that is why you cannot use it anymore. The voucher is not valid now.
ME : yes
BFL: Did you try to use this in another order?
ME : Thanks for quick reply. I have a voucher code BFL-IOS01xxx how can I use it? It tells me it's already used.
BFL: Payment was not funded. BitPay must have logged you out after 15 min of inactivity. Please place another order. That order is not valid anymore.
ME : My Internet went all crazy and I ordered the wrong item, I only want order# 10007xxxx and please change the payment to paypal. : Can you cancel order# 10007xxxx, thanks.
2  Bitcoin / Mining / It looks like BFL is screwing everyone over! on: January 15, 2013, 08:24:28 AM
What about the ASIC hardware?
It's taking forever now. When is BFL going to deliver, in 2013?
I orderd in november and they would be ready in December and then Januari, so what's next Feb, March? So with shipping (to the Netherlands) and BFL taking forever is probably going to be June or Juli before I will have my Jal and SC little.
My next orders are definitely not going to be with BFL.
I'm already having regrets for believing in BFL and that they would have the products ready in December.
I feel screwed over by BFL. And I hope they will compensate people for lost income and paying too much.
The way BFL does business is not done, You can't keep making promises and think you can get away with it.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Want to start a small mining company, need advice. on: February 21, 2012, 01:14:34 PM
I want to start a small mining company in which can be invested over time.
I need some advice about the GLBSE and all the other advice you all can give me.

I was thinking about a Mhash growth of 200% with in the next 3 months.
Need around 2000 euro to accomplish that goal. Effectively growing from 1.4 Ghash/s to 4.2 Ghash/s. The initial investment is on my account some I keep control over it, but I'm looking for investors to secure further grow.

Need some advice on which software package I should use for the website.
I'm thinking about using Magento with the  Bitpay payment processor for investments and eventually payouts in Silver bullion if people are interested in payouts other than in Bitcoin.

4  Other / Beginners & Help / Liberty Reserve accepting Bitcoin traders? on: February 13, 2012, 04:02:01 PM

Are they accepting Bitcoin traders?
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Moneybookers closed my account!!!!!!!! Anti-Bitcoin policy !!!! 2-12-2012 on: February 08, 2012, 04:42:20 PM
Moneybookers locked my account for outgoing transactions.
They asked for a scan of my passport and utility bill to send by email.
Why did they lock my account, are there others with the same problem?

Is complete bullsh1t that they locked my account!
6  Other / Beginners & Help / 2 x 6870 temperature difference +/- 14 °C. on: February 08, 2012, 04:34:47 PM
I have 2 HD6870 in my workstation and use them for Bitcoin mining, but there is huge temperature difference between both cards.

The primaire card runs @ 850 Mhz core, 1050 Mem, Fan 60% 1.137 vcore and the temp is around 80 °C
The secundaire card runs @ 950 Mhz core, 1050 Mem, Fan 60% 1.137 vcore and the temp is around 68 °C

My monitor is connected to the primaire.

Can anybody tell me what the issue is with that, I switched the cards and it doesn't matter, the card in PCIe x16 slot 1 gets hotter than the card in PCIe x16 slot 2.
How is that possible? I have CrossfireX birdge installed but CrossfireX is not enabled in Windows 7.
I have a Gigabyte X58A-OC mb with XFX HD6870 dualfan cards.
Is there something i'm doing wrong or is this normal?

I also have 2 HD5870 running in another system and there temp diff is only +/- 3 °C
That system has the monitor connected to the secundaire card and that one runs hotter than the primaire card.

Correct me if I'm wrong but whatever card I connect the monitor to gets hotter than the one without a monitor, or is this just BS?
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Price drop last couple of days, why?!?! on: January 29, 2012, 06:44:27 PM
Why is the Bitcoin value USD/EUR going down. Who is dumping there Bitcoins? Are it the miners, who keep mining without any demand for Bitcoins? Or is it a big invester selling out after the buying a crap load of them in early Jan?
