1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My burning desire for today...to succeed! on: January 12, 2016, 07:21:39 PM
All right, I have been approached locally to buy a relatively good amount of BTC. The guy wants to start slow and build it up to where he can trust me. the kicker part is that I don't have the $500.00 in BTC in my wallet. I don't even have even anything remotely close to anything to show that I am a serious buyer. I know this will be a great opportunity to be able to open my listing as there are many in my vicinity that are willing to trade with me.

I have been racking my brain as far as how can I approach my bank in seeing whether they will allow me to secure a loan with them in order to fund it. Has any of you guys gone to the bank in order to make a loan to fund obtaining btc?

I saw a thread, about how people were going to get up there. I am very gung ho on doing this. I am just curious to know what ways to go about it.

4  Economy / Currency exchange / I have PayPal, needing btc. on: December 27, 2015, 06:35:04 PM
I would like to buy some btc equivalent to 40.00. If you are quick and honest. I'd be happy to start a trade with you. I need this rather quickly. We will keep all communication public as that will cause no discrepancies.

Thank you
5  Economy / Reputation / Building reputation and completing successful transactions. on: November 22, 2015, 04:05:03 AM
I wanted to complete a really short term loan just to keep my listing from going into vacation mode on my trading account.
Well I figured since I didn't have feedback despite having done a successful trade. I'd asked the person who has a trading thread that I did ny first trade with. Now I'm kinda bummed because he was like no I don't want to trade which I'm okay with. We all have our methods and all.

I mean I can post and all but isn't it about trust, building up so people don't get the misperception that newbies don't have any dealings.

It's frustrating as there are genuinely awesome newbies who just have discovered a similar and even better place tp do business. It's like we are penalized and unless someone empathizes with our predicament as we have all been there.
I make it my priority to document my trades, sales and interaction with anyone when it comes to money. Especially if someone waited on me instead of moving to someone.
Feedback would be awesome. I wasn't asking for much or so I thought. I mean I traded more than what I was asking.

Again this is just wondering and borderline frustration as I want to establish trust and not have to scamper and convince someone I'm trustworthy. I'm sure there are others who'll relate to my dilemma.
6  Economy / Currency exchange / WTS:0.1540 for western union asap on: November 02, 2015, 12:01:58 AM
---please don't try to scam me, I will cross reference if I'm not comfortable or familiar---

With that stated. I want to start small and build up. I'd like 50 dollars via western union.

Keep all communication in thread and if you have a solid within the hour trade. I'm completely game. I'll pay the western union fee. Which is 5.00 for under 50.00.

I look forward to having a good transaction.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Paper wallet information? on: November 01, 2015, 07:40:03 PM
I have an account with a wallet. However someone answered my post saying they will send first if I create a paper wallet. I wanted to cash out for western union.

Am I missing something here? Whatever happened to transferring from one wallet to another?

10  Economy / Lending / Short Term Investment 4 days 3 BTC return on: October 23, 2015, 08:58:14 PM
I am seeking a short term loan 2.146 BTC to be returned no later than Tuesday October 27th. I will give back 3.1BTC

I have my computers, I have websites, I have my LBC account.

All I'll need is your repayment wallet ID. I have a great selling record on LBC. I am very fast and efficient. If I am able to get it done tonight, then you'll have the coin tonight with the fare of many more deals in the future.

Have a contact who will give me cash for coin even trade and then I will go and take the coin to buy more coins from what I was discussing on my thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1217614.new#new

We are able to also open an escrow on LocalBitCoins.

Questions are welcome and I appreciate the opportunity.

11  Economy / Trading Discussion / What would you do? on: October 22, 2015, 07:28:06 PM
I know a lot of business owners who accept btc as payment. These are brick and mortar companies. I have been approached by many and when I say many, like 5-6. They are looking to sell their currency for cash and don't trust the internet. They want to meet in person. Like for example, one guy was like. He had 3 btc and he was willing to sell for $500.00.

My cash flow isn't the greatest so I feel stuck as I know I can get a great deal but. I have no leverage.

If you were in my shoes, is there anything you would recommend me doing. I have a contact who does this in another state. He makes great bank.

How did you get started, what did you do? I am trusted on localbitcoins but that's not what they want. Should I be like, what to do? I get these people every week as we are in a close business community.
