Cast your mind back kiddies...to the pre BTC/BSV/BCH forks.
I have an older wallet.dat for old skool bitcoincore that works fine with latest bitcoin core. Being that old, it doesnt have a set of recovery passwords.
To claim post fork BSV / BCH wallets, what "wallet.dat" compatible wallets do ppl recommend these days?

I have 16~17K VIN tokens, from ICO a few years ago, and they are for direct P2P sale. Having been out of the game for 3~5 years, I couldn't be bothered jumping through the hoops to sell off these tokens via tigercoin exchange https://www.cointiger.com/en-us/#/trade_center?coin=vin_ethThey are trading at 15~20sats...I would be happy to sell at ~12 sats. VIN chain business is still going strong but I just don't have time to follow and would prefer to consolidate my accounts right now. https://vinchain.io/If you are interested in 16~17K VIN for ~0.002BTC / ~0.075ETH then pls drop me a PM. Old skooler here with piles of trust....check my profile

Please consider supporting crytpocurrency security with active distributed hashing, not consolidated into a handful of big miners / pools. If you have any old ASIC miners of any type that are currently door stoppers / dust collectors, please consider donating the items to an Aussie for strengthening the networks.
I am an electrical engineer that is putting some of my crypto into a modest stand alone solar / wind system using salvaged parts; 1. ~480W of solar panel 2. MPPT regulator 3. 2 car batteries 4. 3 UPS 5. 10 year old motherboard with AMD dual core processor 6. 30GHs R-Box (SHA-256) consumes 30W 7. 5GHs Butterfly labs consumes 30W
With this set up, I can establish some stand-alone ASIC miners to help strengthen the networks.
I am on the look out for: 1. Old ASIC miners of any type
I have some spoondoolies to cover shipping costs....

Has anyone had any success installing alt-coin wallets onto a NAS drive?
I have a DNS-320 which I would like to host some PoS wallets 24/7. Can anyone advise on either some plug-ins, how to or line script methods for install?

I recently gave Bter a chance with some trades; coins go in but nothing comes out.
Does anyone know the Bter admins and can either; 1. put me in touch with them as they are not responding to tickets, support requests, email, facebook or twitter 2. get Bter to sync their AsiaCoin (AC) wallet
My coins have been stuck in their system awaiting withdrawal for over a month now...

Does anyone know any BTER admin? If so, can you put me in touch with them...
I made the mistake of using BTER for the first time a few days ago and now have ~0.25BTC of altcoins stuck in there. I have been trying to withdraw my funds for 5 days now and they are not returning any enquirers.

I am developing two business websites for selling both physical and electronic products and was looking for some direction on bitcoin widgets for wordpress based sites.
I have found a couple of widgets by 3rd parties however they all want to convert BTC to fiat for a fee. What I want to do is sell my product in BTC and sent the amount straight to my business BTC wallet without any middleman (basically the embodiment of the decentralised BTC movement).
Ideally, a widget that allows the user to select their crypto-coin of choice from an approved list (set by me) is desired. Basically the product is sold for $10 and you can pay in a crypto equivalent such as LTC, DOGE, Terracoin, etc...which is sent straight to my associated wallet.
Can anyone recommend a wordpress based widget that would facilitate either the BTC only or the any-crypto-coin options?

I have started a new venture into model rail-road accessory production, specifically targeting armoured trains throughout history with the first product line in Beta for WWII (Europe). Currently the intent is to add 1~2 carriage variants a week until the WWII line is complete, about 8 carriage variants + 6 more turrets are currently planned. If there is interest, I intend to branch out to include other historical periods such as US civil war, WWI and the Cold War. My shapeways shop does not currently support BTC directly however I will soon have a painting and assembly website up, as opposed to the shapeways kit options. Through the assembled kit site and via pm, I can arrange to accept BTC. So for now, please check out the intiail product line and feel free to spread the great news. http://www.shapeways.com/shops/ToW Trains of WarArmoured trains have rumbled across a number of major battlefields since the inception of the locomotive. 'Trains of War' aims to give N scale model railroaders the opportunity to bring these epic titans of the rail to life with a unique set of rail carriages based upon the most prominent war trains of their times. Given the unique customisations for nearly every wartrain in history, arising from regular capture and recapture by opposing armies, we have chosen to target representation over rivet counting. To achieve flexibility in design, each carriage is ordered in 3 parts; base, main body and accessories. Each component has a standardised interface to ensure ease of fitment - any base will fit any main body and any accessories will fit any main body. This allows the customer to select and customise your entire rolling stock to capture the best 'feel' for your rolling stock. Want an armoured assault train? Then load up on a command car with plenty of artillery and tank turrets. Want a rapid response troop transporters? Grab a couple of platoon cars with light anti-aircraft guns to keep away the 'flies'. If you don't have a WWII era scene to run a European war train, then consider a few rolling stock as 'museum pieces' being moved as a special run. Overall, we hope to bring you fun through kits that provide entertainment, spark an interest in history and are cost effective for enthusiasts like you.

South American based crypto-coin, Hashdollar(next), for sale. This is their 2nd crack at it and they are making nXHD exchangeable for diamonds as they have access to a cheap / wholesale source. I have mined some nXHD, about 15, but don't think I will ever get to the 300 required to obtain 1/4 carat of diamonds.
If your interested, pm me with an offer in BTC or LTC.

This is alt-coin based question but is a technical question that harks back to the very core of Bitcoin architecture so you indulgence is appreciated.
I have been monitoring an alt-coin since inception, to protect the innocent we shall call it coinX (original *smurks to self*), and I have not had a problem maintaining a wallet for solo mining purposes. The coinX is a very low profile coin which is trying to encourage CPU mining only, so being a bit of a renegade, I uncovered the algo and began solo mining it. After a few days, my wallet is now always about 300 blocks behind. This appears to be a wide spread issue amongst the nodes, ~300 blocks behind, aside from 3 core nodes which I believe may be the developers upon which they are solo mining - effectively sucking up the coins.
So my tech question is - can a blockchain have a 'master node or nodes' which distribute a delayed version of the blockchain in order to discourage solo mining?
P.S. This is a re-launched coin and a similar series of events happened the first time round.
P.S.S. I have moved the blockchain in order to restart the bootstrapping from the master nodes. Yes it does refresh the blockchain but stops short by about 300 blocks.
