Put a few of my Casascius coins up for sale. They have been vaulted and tokenized by 4k.com. They can be purchased via OpenSea and then shipped to you anywhere in the world fully insured. I can also unvault them and ship to a trusted forum escrow and accept payment in BTC, whatever a potential buyer would prefer. Happy to answer any questions or entertain offers. https://app.4k.com/?categories=Casascius

Hey everyone! So I've been working on getting something like this launched for quite some time and am excited to announce that 4K.com now supports Casascius coins! As BTC price has increased, buying and selling Cas coins has become increasingly difficult, and this friction has led to, what I believe, a significant gap between sale price and what these should actually be valued at. I've known the 4K founder Richard for quite some time, he got into crypto in 2011 and even though he only owns one Casascius coin, he has been a fantastic supporter of this endeavor and really understands the important historical value of these coins. I have put my money where my mouth is and provided a significant portion of my collection to seed the marketplace. One other member of the forum has also sent in several coins, and a few others have helped significantly with getting this launched. I'll let them chime in if they would like to reveal themselves but I am continually impressed by the amazing support from this community! If you would like to get involved in any way, have suggestions, questions, or want to learn more about the listing process feel free to DM me. Between Pawn Stars, this, and the marketing cycle we have planned hopefully we can bring Cas coins and other crypto collectibles the attention they deserve! Just finished shooting an episode of Pawn Stars for my Casascius coin (S2 0.5 silver "error") after being invited on the show. Rick offered me face value and I obviously declined. Hopefully helps get a bit more notoriety around these fantastic collectibles! Should air sometime spring 2022.

I saw that someone has a Casascius display case at the BTC Miami Conference! Was curious if it is anyone on the forum or if anyone has some better photos. Info on the case securing it would be interesting to know, at ~$250k in just spot value I'm sure it's pretty solid. Would love to cross post on Twitter if I can get a non Insta photo!

Hey everyone, I have been talking with a well known custodian and a few potential lenders regarding loans for Casascius coins. I am personally interested since a loan does not trigger a taxable event and it is also a way to access liquidity without having to peel or sell coins (especially with premiums as low as they are). The lenders are interested but one of their main questions is how large the potential market is for this before they invest time and money into it. If you are potentially interested in getting a Casascius coin loan, DM me or comment here and if comfortable give a ballpark estimate of the BTC value you would be interested in getting a loan on. Obviously this is not binding in any way and I will leave it to them to legitimize the process and ensure the safety of all our coins, but this market research would be quite helpful. Thanks edit: They could potentially do BTCC, Lealana or any pre-loaded BTC coins as well, I just need to discuss authentication of these with them.

Hi everyone! So I recently received an offer for my Casascius set. I hadn't really considered selling but with the current offer I am potentially open to it. Wanted to start a thread here to see if there is any additional interest before making a decision either way. Not really interested in splitting up the set unless all coins have interested buyers. All of these are yellow ANACS slabs and many of them are featured in the Encyclopedia of Physical Crypto. Would fly buyer out or fly to meet buyer for any potential sale. Lots of small swag I can include but the main set info: Brass: 2011 S1 Error: MS67 2011 S2: MS67 2012: MS69 2013 "Void Coin": MS66 (With signed CoA from Nick Mross, director of Rise and Rise of Bitcoin. Hi everyone! Planning for SFblockchainweek.io is ramping up once again and we have decided to create another custom coin for the event. 210 coins were made total but only the first 50 are pure silver and numbered. The price for these is $400 shipped and owning one will give you access to all of the events during SF Blockchain Week this year as well as next! I also have coins from last year available and will include one for free with any purchase (let me know if you would like a matching number). Both coins are 1oz silver, will come with a custom wooden box, and a tamper evident holo sticker. These will be sold here for one week and then auctioned off through SFBW social media. 1) Reserved 11) 21) 31) 41) 2) 12) 22) 32) 42) 3) 13) 23) 33) 43) 4) 14) 24) 34) 44) 5) 15) 25) 35) 45) 6) 16) 26) 36) 46) 7) 17) 27) 37) 47) 8 ) 18) 28) 38) 48) 9) 19) 29) 39) 49) 10) Reserved 20) 30) 40) 50)

Hey everyone, my team and I are getting ready to host sfblockchainweek.io. We will be creating coins that will be given out to speakers including Vitalik, Charlie Lee, Naval, Balaji, Joseph Poon and numerous other titans in the space. There will only be 300 of these coins made, all of them but 38 will be given to speakers and sponsors at the event. These coins will be numbered and we will be selling numbers 2-40 (not numbers 1 and 10) for $250 each. I will be offering them here for one week and then offer them to the broader community. These will be 1oz silver coins. Please post or PM if interested! A note: I am accepting reservations for coins on first come first serve basis. I will NOT be collecting any funds before the coins/holos are in hand so please do not send money to anyone before I post final photos here. 1. Hello everyone, As many of you may have noticed I have not been as active around the forum and that is because I have been extremely busy with school and starting the Blockchain at Berkeley club. If you are interested to learn more about the club you can see our website here: https://blockchain.berkeley.edu/ We are a student-run group at UC Berkeley dedicated to all things related to the blockchain. We host general meetings, during which we discuss recent industry, technological, economic, and bitcoin trading developments. We put on Bay Bithack every year, which was the first and largest collegiate bitcoin hackathon in the world. We develop open-source projects together as a club and contribute to the cryptocurrency ecosystem as well as collaborate with businesses to develop blockchain solutions to industry problems. We run workshops for people who are new to the industry, put on other events (like tech talks), and teach the only undergraduate cryptocurrency course in the United States. I am creating 100 coins as gifts to give to guest speakers as well as teams and individuals who do exceptional things for the organization. The board has agreed to sell 30 of these coins to help fund the creation of the rest. Each coin will be numbered but only 20 coins are for sale as a deluxe version and an additional 10 are available without additional provenance. Only 100 of these will ever be made and only 20 of the deluxe version that comes with a hand signed and wax sealed COA and a signed picture of the founders will ever be for sale! The initial design for the coins is: The back will have a pit for a private key but will be sold unfunded (build your own style). Depending on interest we could possibly make custom holo stickers but might have to stick with generic ones since custom holos are expensive for such a limited production. They will be numbered on the back 1-100 and will be marked with a BTC amount, most likely 0.01 BTC. The cost of these coins will be approximately 0.1BTC and they will be sold unfunded. If there is sufficient demand we can get them done in .999 silver for the additional cost of silver spot price. Please post or PM below in this format:1) What number you want 2) If you would prefer .999 silver or silver plated 3) If you would prefer a generic holo at no additional cost or a custom holo (price of which will be researched if there is demand) 4) Any design suggestions

I am mediating the sale of this funded 10 BTC Casascius Silver with Gold B on behalf of the user XYNACK. I was contacted by this individual via Reddit and recommended that they would have the best luck selling it on this forum. I have performed my own due diligence and I am confident that this user is in possession of this coin. Feel free to ask any questions or request any additional photos. This coin is absolutely immaculate and as Mike's profile picture can attest, truly one of the most beautiful and sought after Casascius coins. It has clearly been well cared for and only removed from the capsule to take photos for this thread. Escrow is naturally expected, I am willing to escrow this deal and hold the funds via Trezor as a non interested third party. Escrow via one of the usual forum escrows is also fine in which case escrow fees will be the responsibility of the buyer. Escrow funds will be released to XYNACK once the deal is completed. The asking price is: 18BTCThe coin is located in California. Feel free to make offers

Hello everyone, So I have been kicking around the idea of making a coin for a while but haven't done so because I'm terrible at drawing but Bigtimespaghetti has graciously volunteered to help me with this project! This thread's purpose is to see if there is enough interest to actually go ahead with this project as well as take any helpful suggestions to create the best coin possible for the community. Basic Premise: I really want to design and sell a coin and donate the proceeds to Wounded EOD warriors. They were amazingly helpful to both me and my family when I got blown up in Afghanistan a few years ago. http://www.eodwarriorfoundation.org/psaThe first rough sketch by Bigtimespaghetti:Design:I either wanted a Tech in a bomb suit or the EOD badge (called the Crab, it is my profile picture) on the front and the EOD motto which is " Initial success or total failure." When working with things that blow up there are not many second chances. On the back I intend to have "Pull here in case of crypto revolution" or perhaps "Bitcoin Revolution," I'm not sure which is more fitting. This will surround the hologram which can be peeled using a grenade pin system. I will be soldering a metal thread to a grenade pin that is cut short. This way the pin will not stick out too far on either side. The metal thread will then be spiraled with the hologram sealed over the top of it. When the pin is pulled the metal thread will break the adhesive. There will be a small spiral indentation on the back of the coin where the hologram will be placed so that the hologram will sit flush with the wire beneath it. Does this grenade style redemption method interest anyone or would it be simpler and cleaner to just use "Peel in case of crypto revolution?" For me there is a huge connection between a future with Bitcoin as the dominant currency and the political landscape and international relations with the current fiat system but I don't want to get overly political here. That combined with the EODWF donation was what has inspired this project. If you would be interested in a coin like this please PM me or post in this thread so I can estimate if it is worth continuing forward with this project. Also, if you have any design preferences or material (silver?) I think that here would be a great place to discuss it.

Hello everyone, I am looking to sell one of my Casascius Void Coins. I have two that have graded MS66, these are the only two Void Coins in existence that have graded that high. Several others have graded MS65 but I have the only two MS66. I will be keeping one for my personal collection and selling this one to a lucky buyer. In total, there are only six Void coins known to exist. They are extremely rare, especially in good condition because they were handed out to members of the press and likely lost or abused. Needless to say, this is an extremely rare coin that is for sale. All of the provenance shown in the picture below will be included. This includes the Void Coin, a signed statement from Ben Bledsoe (producer of The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin) stating that this coin was featured in the documentary, a picture of him with Mike Caldwell, and the foam hand that he was wearing in the picture. This is a must have for any collector. I doubt you will see any more pop up for sale in the near future especially at this grade and with provenance like this. Don't miss out! Feel free to post or PM any questions or offers. I am looking for ~7 BTC. The coin will be shipped from the US and shipping cost will be negotiated. edit: not sure why Bitcointalk is refusing to embed the second picture...? Figured it out, the image was over the size limit so I embeded a lower quality picture. The higher quality can be viewed here: https://i.imgur.com/ZEbjm7V.jpg
