1  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Another fake website of trezor.io with Punycode[Beware][Updated with fake sites] on: June 10, 2019, 09:29:32 PM
I recently searching on google with keyword "trezor" and I found a fake website.

Here's what it looks like

Then I tried to check the website and I found that it looks the same as the original trezor wallet page I tried to click any pages but none of the buttons works except for wiki but the result is page not found and two wallet button.

The weird thing that I found after copying the URL and pasting it to report page on google the website URL shows different so my guess it is a Punycode website. Look at URL below.
Code:
https://xn--wllet-trezor-y9a.com/#

So obvious that this website is fake and they are targeting trezor user.

The website just created a few days ago according to whois.

2  Bitcoin / Electrum / 2 phishing websites shows on search engine when searching about Electum DDOS on: April 16, 2019, 01:55:49 PM
I would like other users to be aware of other new phishing Electrum websites that I found when I searching on bing and google.

Here's the 2 phishing sites.

Code:
http://electrum.bz
http://electrumsecuredownload.com

Keep your wallet safe and always use the original Electrum website which is electrum.org when downloading the latest version of Electrum.

Edit: It seems someone already victim again with electrum[.]bz in reddit from here
Please be careful guys don't give your Bitcoin to scammers.

5  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Do you recommend a mobile wallet alternative for Coinomi wallet? on: February 27, 2019, 11:57:24 PM
Due to bad news about Coinomi wallet from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114778.0
I was forced to switch to a new wallet but the problem is I don't know which wallet is the best alternative for Coinomi wallet as it's one of the best wallets before in mobile.

Could you recommend me any alternative mobile wallet with the same feature as Coinomi wallet? Where all coins from Coinomi are supported?
6  Bitcoin / Electrum / The electrum 3.3.4 portable version does not work? on: February 20, 2019, 11:19:09 PM
Let me ask if how the latest electrum 3.3.4 portable version to make it work.

I tried to open the portable version but nothing happens no popup or it's not running. The old version is running fine but the problem right now the update notification keeps showing up. That is why I decided to download the new version and use the portable version as temporary.

My laptop OS is Windows 7 32bit.

Do I still need to install the Python sources first to make the portable works?

Just checked the taskbar it's running on the background but it's not showing. Anyone experience this?
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Wordpress theme for bitcoin? on: December 26, 2018, 11:48:23 PM
Do you know some marketplace or website where you can buy WordPress themes that accept bitcoin as payment?

I used a theme which is nulled version with limited features and I'm afraid to use it because it might have a backdoor script and I would like to use a premium shop theme that compatible with Elementor.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitmain promoting BitDeer is it scam or not? on: December 19, 2018, 12:37:03 AM
When checking and scanning the bitmain website for malware I saw the front page of bitmain with bitdeer on the slider.
I'm curious about the image because it shows Free Mining Day from December 13 to December 16 now I tried to click the image and redirect me to a bitdeer website I tried to sign in and redirect me again to bitmain to log in. Now when checking the Dashboard I thought that they are giving free hash rate but it doesn't.

I checked their pricing and I'm surprised about the price because it's too cheap with less maintenance fee.
Here is my own computation, you can earn $163.19 per month with $21 plan and you can only pay 3.9 maintenance fee for 30 days? (correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm planning to buy but I need to know first to other experienced users if this is safe to invest or scam?
9  Other / Meta / Is it allowed to this type of promoting style on altcoin announcement board? on: August 27, 2018, 10:26:00 PM
When patrolling I found 3 post which is copy pasted I checked one by one and found that these are posted on the same thread that we can consider it as plagiarism. What I noticed from the thread seems like all post are made by bots.

Look at this sample of 3 posts quoted below.

promising idea of the project is always one of the main indicators of successful startups. The project is interesting from the point of view of innovation i wish the project the rapid growth. it will be better, it is worth everyone's expectations and efforts. best of luck PENCHANT TOKEN team

A promising idea of the project is always one of the main indicators of successful startups. The project is interesting from the point of view of innovation i wish the project the rapid growth. it will be better, it is worth everyone's expectations and efforts.

Best of luck PENCHANT TOKEN team.

The project is interesting from the point of view of innovation i wish the project the rapid growth, it is worth everyone's expectations and efforts. Its project is great and look so promising. This is the kind of project needs to stay alive.
Good job team

And please check this thread and you will notice that all posts are automatic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4962091.180

Is it allowed to use the automated tool to keep the announcement thread alive?

Edit:
The report button doesn't work it shows "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you. " that is why I made this thread.

10  Other / Meta / List of spam bots on: August 21, 2018, 07:35:10 PM
I found a list of spam bots where all accounts are posting the same content with little changes.

When I was searching on google about debit cards I found 2 threads with the same content so I decided to investigate these accounts and then I caught that there are more accounts posting the same content.

It looks like they are using spinner and GSA ranker to post here in the forum just to promote a scam website.

This is the scam website that I'm talking about.
Code:

List of accounts

I believe that there are many accounts connected with this scam website. So, I'll update this thread as soon as I found a new accounts.

I hope admin will take action about this and I feel that there are many internet marketers online abuse this forum.

I heard that they are using our forum as a parasite website (as backlinks) and my guess they are using GSA to blasting a massive amount of spam links that I think could hurt our forum rankings.

Update: Another new spam bot account

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What could be the reason of the bitcoin fees drop these days? on: February 27, 2018, 11:25:18 PM
I don't believe that this time i saw that the fee drop to 20 sat per byte. I thought that its bug but i tried to test sending few bitcoin few hours ago and my fee is too low, I paid almost 18sat/byte check my transaction here
https://blockchain.info/tx/224f6d675f2062319daf896537bad6519eedaf26ab2e4b0b0f62453408b7a103
And my transaction was confirm in few minutes i think 15 minutes or around 30 minutes.

What do you think could be the reason is it because of lightning network or it is because of low transaction traffic?
Or there are lots of people are mining bitcoin?

Hi guys i was planning to buy a miner but i do not know how to buy and how shipping works after order in their site..
Let me ask if this is their real site http://bitmain.com

And found bitmain antminer s9 that the price is really not change from before and until now

I was also checking and search how loud s9 miner sounds but i  found the video in youtube and looks like the noise is the same sound that i heard from some factory here in my country or same as blower sounds..

Maybe it can help this ip to trace those hackers..

For those who still have access and you are holding some funds in poloniex better to move them to the safety place.
And for other who already experience the same as mine what do you think poloniex will be taken down?
