2  Bitcoin / Mycelium / [SOLVED]Mycelium seed not restoring correct key on: December 31, 2014, 08:16:21 PM
I'll make this as short as possible

Generate 12 word backup and verify
Flash new rom
Input 12 word seed
Get some new random address

I have tried it 4 times and once on an old Moto Droid and none return my correct address. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: forgot to mention I have a backup of my older rom with the correct wallet info so I can go back and retrieve it. I just want to make sure that my backups work incase something bad happens to my phone.
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Cheap small bitcoin wallet inspired by Almost Human on: March 05, 2014, 04:22:32 AM
After watching this clip someone posted on Reddit I decided to design something similar.

The idea was to make it cheap to assemble and small.
The main case is 46mm x 21mm x 12mm, the thickness is mostly due to the large led thickness, so it could be much thinner.
4  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] Bricked Asus Transformer TF700t on: January 11, 2014, 08:50:41 PM
SOLD SOLD SOLD

Sadly I have to sell my favorite gadget.

This is a bricked tf700. I don't know very much about the specifics of the brick, however the consensus online is that it's toast. This unit would be great if you need a new screen, or buy a broken lcd Transformer from ebay and combined the two for a very nice tablet for half the price. I'm just sick of working on it and want it gone.

I will also throw in the Poetic case, which the tablet was stored it its whole life.

Looking for $100 of BTC shipped to the US.

Edit: Forgot that this will come with the charger and usb cable.
5  Economy / Goods / Rane SL1 DVS (DJ equipment) on: November 06, 2013, 07:10:21 PM
This is all the stuff from my older DJ setup. If anyone is interested I can grab better photos.

This includes 4 timecontrol vinyls, the SL1, and a usb cord to run it, the software is available on Serato's site for free as long as you own this hardware, no weird serial codes or anything like that to transfer. I bought the unit used and has worked perfectly for over a year of playing. Only left the house once and I made sure to keep an eye on my equipment so nothing happened to it.

I have the original box that I would like to include I just need to remember where I stored it.

Looking for $250 worth of BTC shipped to the lower 48. I am also open to almost all crypto coin so feel free to PM me.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What do you think is the best form to gift BTC? on: October 29, 2013, 06:41:48 PM
As the holiday season is approaching I was wondering what the best bitcoin gift would be. They all have pros and cons like the security of generating your own keys. I'm sure that we, as bitcoiners, would rather have the paper wallet, but is my little sister really going to be impressed with a slip of paper versus a shiny silver coin?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Confused about blockchain transactions on: October 02, 2013, 10:55:00 PM
So I am updating my wallet and redownloading the blockchain. Then I noticed my last 2 transactions have MASSIVE payments on them. So I looked around and found a few like that.

Here is an example

Another thing I noticed is that they are all an amount that makes the total round to the 0.1.
Where the heck are these going? They are never deducted from my wallet but are part of the blockchain?
8  Economy / Services / WTB: CNC milling work on: August 19, 2013, 08:11:40 PM
Looking for someone that can do CNC work, mostly aluminum, small parts and relatively small runs (20-30 units usually). Opportunity for lots of work in the future.

Here is a screengrab of the first piece I need. PM me and I can get you a DXF or IGS to quote.

70x113x113mm is the size of this piece.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Buying stocks with BTC on: May 09, 2013, 07:54:06 PM
Pretty simple. I am looking to buy some shares on the NASDAQ (is that the right term?)

I am wondering if anyone has any insight into this.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What do you tell people who ask "how much bitcoin do you have?" on: April 06, 2013, 07:59:05 PM
With all the news coverage over the last month I have had countless people ask me. Most normal people can't really say "just over a million dollars worth if i cashed out" without some repercussions.

I wonder what some of you early adopters say to these people.

13  Other / Beginners & Help / Dual 5970s killing PSU on: February 28, 2012, 05:30:18 AM
Hello all I will start with my system.

XION XON-1000P14F
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
AMD Phenom II 925 (stock clock)
2x4gb G.Skill DDR3 1066 Ram
2x AMD 5970
1 2.5" Sata HDD
Open air case
Win7
Phoenix miner

GPU:
Voltage: 1.135
Shader: 920
Memory: 500

I am still using Afterburner, I tried CG miner but it was very unstable and about 10% slower than phoenix.

When I first built the system I was running a single 5970 with great results. I purchased another just a few days later and install it, after an hour it goes down, PSU wont power. I send the PSU back to Newegg. In the meantime I put the two cards into a video editing machine that gets little use, the PSU is a Rosewill 750w and put a Kill-A-Watt in line this time. At the wall this system drew ~950w, but was stable so I let it run while I waited for my Newegg return.

Today I got my replacement 1000w, got everything set up again, and turned it on (about 1005w at the wall). Everything was running great, I watched it for about 15 minutes and temps were stable so I left it to work its magic. Come back and it's powered down, tap the power switch to reboot it and see a large white arc in the PSU.

So I'm wondering whats the best thing to do from here. The eXtreme Power Supply Calculator says the system should only be using around 550w, where is all the extra power coming from? I cant imagine a PSU is only about 55% efficient, does OCing the GPUs add much extra wattage?. Maybe I need a name brand PSU?

Any help would be appreciated, I've only been doing this stuff for a few weeks.

Thanks for the help.
