I have a problem at my latest build which is an ASUS B250 Mining expert with 11 GPU-s from AMD, all Sapphire Pulse Rx 570 4GB bios modded and hashing at 29.4 Mhash each. The problem is until 7 GPU-s it mines fine without problems, the moment I add the 8th-11 GPU-s it shows error, it restarts miner because of 3 GPU with errors, I switch GPU-s errors again.
Bios updated, configuration of the Bios done correctly ( I have many other rigs with Biostar Pro 250 BTC running stable from months with same cards). This is becoming frustrating so I thought to ask here in the forum.
Windows 10, with Hive OS works great with 12 cards at 350 Mhash. Still not a Hive OS fun, I want to make it to work in Windows.
Any ideas ?

I have a few mining boards with RX 570 4GB, so far I have been happy with following setup:
BIOS mod and MSI settings Core clock 1150 Memory clock 2175 for Hynix Memory.
Lately I had one card which crashed all the time if I did the bios mod with the above settings although is the same card. So what I did is to change the bios and the settings to
Core clock 1284 (actual core clock which any RX 570 GPU has default) Memory clock 2100
Working well with 200-300 hash more in total for 6 cards in cryptonight.
I don't think I have overclocked too much but anyway wanted a bit of advice from other miners.

After trying up several times watching videos, reading guides on google, downloading all rom files for my card at anorach tech website, its been two days that I am not successful. Therefore below find the original bios of my ROM, if someone modifies it correctly and send me the modified correct working ROM plus a guide step by step I will reward that person 0.002 btc from the bitcoin address you can find in my profile. Link to my original BIOS. Thanks to anyone who will make it work. I prefer knowledgeable people start to modify it and not newbies who may want only the reward. https://file.io/BsY2kPCard is Sapphire Pulse RX 570 4GB OC Hynix memory and with 2 fans. Meanwhile picture of hashrate of my cards, it is stable at 24.5 each one but it fluctuates to 24.7 and 23.8 All cards are the same so only 1 bios is needed to be modified.

I read a lot of google guides and saw a lot of youtube videos then started to apply to my cards.
Here is what I did 1) Saved original BIOS from GPU-Z 2) Opened up Polaris 1.6.1 and opened this bios, then clicked One Click Timing Patch 3) Opened up Atiflash and Loaded the modded bios and click Program 4) After it said your Bios was programmed successfully restarted
The card is with yellow esclamation mark on Device manager and Winminer says miner error.
Maybe I have to use Atipixel patcher ? Blockchain drivers installed.
Anything I maybe have missed ?
I also downloaded ROMS from anorach tech website, none seems to work, same problem always. HYNIX memory.

I build the rig with a self made aluminum open air frame case and then fired up the board and installed the Win10 PRO my favorite OS for mining.
I updated bios to latest one which supports with Mining mode Enabled, 6xVGA or Above 6G(not needed for me as I only have 6 rx 570 4gb ), all PCIE to GEN1 including the PCIEX16
G4400 HYPERX 4GB RAM SSD KINGSTON CORSAIR HX 1000 W PLATINUM EFFICIENCY
After changing a few risers finally managed to recognize all my 6 rx 570 cards. Problem is nor MSI Afterburner nor Sapphire Trixx can show settings for them, MSI shows 0 everywhere.
Should I DDU but I am afraid if I reinstall drivers 6 cards will not be recognized again ?

I tested a few Sapphire Pulse RX 570 4GB before buying them and they were with Hynix Memory would not be able to overclock through Afterburner as this kind of memory doesn't support it. I was very happy with stock results in dual mining ETH/LBRY with 24/70 Mhs respectively. The problem was power draw, was 150 watt when dual mining, when mining only monero was 95 watt.
I am looking for a good Bios mod and a step by step instruction as is the first time I will do a bios mod to my cards. I can buy one but first I am asking here if any help will be provided hopefully.

A few weeks ago I was having problem with "VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (nvlddmkm.sys)" and I thought it was from a Biostar board. Now yesterday in my Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 3 board I have at home running 1 x 1050 ti and 1 x RX 480 without problems from many months, once I added a new GTX 1060 3GB it started displaying the error again. My power supply is good enough, drivers are the latest one and even did DDU and reinstalled again 388.31 latest one. It's no problem of overheating as my 1060 card is about 48 degree celsius.
Funny thing this was happening in Biostar where I had 2 x 1050 ti and 1 x 1060. I believe this is a problem of Nvidia cards which Nvidia needs to fix when running two different of Nvidia cards for mining .
Tried all internet guides on how to fix this without success. What's wrong with Nvidia lately ?

I am having this problem only specifically when mining Zcash, the temperature in the excavator miner shows -3 watt. Also this problem is only related to GTX 1050 ti cards as for GTX 1060 it works normal. Sometimes it even shows the TDR Video Failure on Biostar Pro Btc. In fact in Pro BTC motherboard I have only made it to work to mine using ccminer from tprivot and I am mining Lyra2rev only. It crashes in Zcash and Ethereum totally just a few minutes after this. All PCIE slots put to Gen1, latest Windows 1709 and latest Nvidia driver.
Also in EBWF Zcash miner shows the sol/s but shows 0 watt and 0 as temperature with this driver regarding the 1050 ti. 1050 ti are 1 Gigabyte single fan and 2 MSI dual fan
Is anyone having this kind of problem or it is just me ?
I am using Nicehash as you should have understood from me mentioning excavator miner, a proprietary miner of Nicehash I believe.

I had a problem yesterday with TDR Video Failure error and the nvidia.sys was the crash. I read on the internet on how to fix it, all internet was telling me that it is because of overheating problems or because of driver error. Well to me it appeared it was because the PCIE slots were not getting enough power and I switch them back to Gen 3 from Auto. Motherboard Biostar TB250 PRO BTC.
Just wanted to add this fix, in case you encounter this problem.

I just opened Electrum wallet to accelerate a transaction (yes Coinbet24 is not to be that trusted anymore, the 5th time they send with a low fee notable with a yellow exclamation mark on Electrum) and I noticed that Electrum asked me to choose AutoConnect and I did choose it. Then when I clicked on view on block explorer it pointed me not to blockchain.info where it usually does but to blocktrail.com . Also the appearance was in mBTC and I changed it back to BTC.
Is this some kind of automatic update or should I worry ?

I am looking to add 2-3 cards of the RX 470 Mining Edition to one new rig I am building. I was browsing at ebay and come out at the picture below, the seller had only 9 buys and 0 sells although 100% positive in feedback. Can 45 watt bring you 30.5 Mhash as if this is for real I am buying right away one card today ?

Whenever I try to launch the client I see the error in the picture below, it is a shame as I have quite a few funds in Zcash there and I don't know how to retrieve them. Any suggestions what to do ?

I know I have taken all from this PSU, have connected 2 x1060 3GB here plus the motherboard and all its components. Is it normal to run hot as it is been running since January up to know without stopping, 24 hours a day, seven day a week ?
It is not extremely hot but its hot.

In their official page in Instagram Rog/Rogna Asus have announced that the wait is over, introducing RX Vega 64 Strix, designed to outshine the competition.
Has anyone bought it on preorder or we have to wait a few days to see its hashrate ? Although official release date is set 14 August, Asus says the wait is over.

Do you guys know that even a person which has low end motherboard of 4th Intel generation and onward can do mining up to a professional level. Usually these motherboards costs about 40-50 Euro and contains 1 PCIEX16 and 2 PCIEX1. Many people say you can only use 2 cards here as the card who will fit in the PCIEX16 slot will make one PCIEX1 slot disappear.
Now this is what I learned yesterday as I do help and setup for different people who build mining rigs , I see at one person that he had put a riser PCIEX1 to PCIEX16 even directly to the PCIEX16 slot and was using full slots of the motherboards, making this low price motherboards to contain up to 3 GPU.
Maybe many of you miners here don't know that even with your home PC, you just remove the side of your case and can fit up to 3 cards for such motherboards, so I decided to share this info here. Three risers make you three working GPU-s in a low end motherboard.
This is to help the home miner, to venture into mining if they like.

A friend of mine at work only have Electrum as their wallet in their PC. He asked me what to do and I told him I will install Bitcoin core so he can export the private keys to whichever chain will be available after a possible split.
He has only one 500 GB Samsung SSD unused so I intend to put it in his PC tomorrow and install bitcoin core there. It will be installed in this SSD which will have a different letter than C. Should I only change the installation directory when installing core and all data and blockchain will be stored there or do I need to do something more ?

I managed to build a home mining rig with 6 Nvidia GTX 1050 ti but the problem is my UPS is running a bit warm. Is this normal or is this because of the 6 GPU-s attached to the system. Should I remove it and connect the power supply to the power source and not the UPS ? Or is it normal for the UPS to run a bit warm under heavy workload conditions ? There is normal airflow to the UPS.

I am doing some experiments. In Italy the cost of a GTX 1050 ti is 175 Euro and I consider it a very good price. I bought a Gigabyte low profile Gtx 1050 ti and I am getting out of it almost 15 mhash (14.65 to be precise). I am reaching it heavily overclocking the memory to +1000. This is a Gigabyte already overclocked version. 175 euro / 14.65 mhash = 12 Euro cost for a mhash. Anyone getting a better bang for the buck and getting a bit more out of this card, I know it can go up to 15.56 mhash but not the low profile versions. This card consumes only 50 watt mining ethereum so I am thinking of building a home build with 6 like these. Which is the best to get.

I am having a lot of fun and making a decent amount of bitcoin monthly with my mining rigs, thanks in majority to the things I learned during my stay in this forum. All my mining rigs consist of corsair 1000watt gold plus power supply and 5 graphic cards.
Question 1 I want to build a few mining rigs with Biostar TB250 Pro BTC with 6 cards so my question will a Corsair 1000watt rm1000i for example do the job also with 6 cards ? I have Be quiet Darkpower zone pro 1200 watt platinum but I see it has less connectors then Corsair rm1000i and I am afraid to buy it for 395 Euro, the cost of it in my country.
Question 2 I see that when I make a board with only rx 480 for example the MSI afterburner recognize all cards but once I try to make a board with 2 GTX 1070 and 3 Rx 480 MSI afterburner only recognizes the card/s which are installed first for example since I have gtx 1070 in my pcie 3.0 it only recognizes these 2 cards and I can move the fan speed etc, it also show the rx cards but everything is 0 and I can't move anything. What can be a work around so I can move the fans of all cards ?
