3  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] 2x Jupiters and 1x Bitfury Full Rig [WTS] possibly CA Neptune on: January 25, 2014, 02:37:31 PM
Hello fellow miners.

I have for sale my beloved farm as I need to move on.  I am looking for USD for this sale so bank wire or cash deals please.  Due to this I will have to limit the sales to the US only unless it is a ridiculously good deal. I am located in Delaware for any local arrangements.  I am well aware of what these units are worth so please do not do us both a disservice by low-balling, you will be ignored.

First up is a pair of October Jupiter's which are guaranteed at 550Gh/s but I have been recently running them at higher clocks with NO voltage changes!
The first one runs a solid 640GH/s and the second runs at 626Gh/s. I am sure they could be pushed higher with voltage tweaks and better cooling but I am not a big gambler.  The units will be delivered as they arrived without PSUs.

Performance pics:

Next up is a full bitfury rig including Coolermaster 1000W PSU and Spotswood open air case. It is guaranteed to run at 400Gh/s but through pencil modding I have it up at 550-560Gh/s. There may be more performance to be had for die hard tweaker but as I said I don't gamble.  The bitfury can be shipped with existing pencil modifications or I can remove them so it can be properly tweaked for its new environment. I would also suggest you have an 4GB SD card with a MBP V1 image ready to go as I cannot guarantee my SD card will be plug and play. It tends to be flaky (easily corrupts).

Web status pic:

Here is the hardware performance over the last few days showing their stability:

Finally, I do have a Customer Appreciation batch Neptune pre-order that I would be willing to ship on to a buyer if a deal could be reached. The order is #1290X for reference.

I would appreciate you leave all questions here in the thread so that others can see. It would also be nice if offers could be left here as well to minimize the PM deluge I expect. Smiley

I want to have all deals sorted by Monday so I can begin shipping or scheduling meetups.  Thanks very much for looking.

4  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] BFL (Sold) and AMD Mining Gear (Sold) on: December 17, 2013, 04:16:04 AM
Hey All,

First up I am looking to part with 2 BFL singles.

Here they are:
And here is what they can do:

These will be sold without a PSU as I need it so make plans accordingly.
Looking for BTC.  I have a rough number in my head but if your offer is compelling I will consider it. Shipping to be paid by the buyer though just so you know.

I also have 3 Sapphire 7950s and 1 Visiontek 7970 all reference cooler types for sale as well.  I will get pictures up tomorrow for those.
The 7950s have been run for 2 months and do around 640Kh/s.  The 7970 I have had for 3 months and has done 700Kh/s.  Looking for $250 each for the 7950s and $300 for the 7970 in BTC of course. Smiley

And running: 7950s ->
and the 7970->

I also have made a nice vertical mount aluminum mining frame for GPUs I would like to sell as well.  Picture will be incoming.
It can hold 7 cards comfortably and vents the heat straight upwards.  Looking for $50 in BTC +ship.  Mobo and PSU not for sale , sorry.

Package deals can be arranged.  If you have any questions just ask.

7  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 1.5Th/s (3x 500Gh) BFL Minirig Order #170XX [Sold 3] Out on: September 13, 2013, 12:23:00 AM
Let's see how this goes. Please be civil.  Smiley

Let me clean this listing up so the important information can be seen quickly, original is quoted below.  I have sold 2 of the three delivered minirigs in my possession.  There is one remaining that arrived the 21st and has been tested and works well.

The price for this unit is currently $6000 +shipping due by bank transfer.  If you have any questions or other offers please let me know.  Thanks for stopping by San Diego.

Quote
I'm looking to sell a 1500Gh Mini-Rig order, now that BFL allows transfers. actually delivered!!! I have 2 units on hand and another on the way. I will not be able to power these units as I had originally hoped so they are up to a good home.
The Order is #170XX, placed and paid on Feb 22 2013. Asking $26000 $18000 wire transfer or BTC but I am open to offers. Overnight shipping a given.  BTC on the rise makes the payback period much more palatable.
Escrow can be discussed, but is to be released once the order has been shipped.  I have tested the 2 boxes I have currently and they work as advertised with no issues so far.
Please reply here or PM me regarding offers, questions, or proof regarding the order.  Thank you.
Here is the screenshot of the order:
8  Other / Meta / Request to add a "Group Buy" child forum in Custom Hardware on: June 05, 2013, 04:18:46 PM
As the title states I would like to see a sub-forum for all the group buys which have now taken over the custom hardware section.

At first it was ok when there was a couple but now the bulk of the first page is all group buys and it is very distracting from discussing the underlying tech...or trolling Roll Eyes. Thoughts?
9  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] ASUS GTX 460SE with Custom Modified Cooler on: December 18, 2012, 09:07:15 PM
I have had this in storage for a while now but I don't really have a use for it. It is just a standard GTX 460SE from ASUS that I have created a new cooler shroud and backing out of steel mesh and painted. It was part of a mod I was doing but then I dove headfirst into Bitcoin and we all know how that turns out. Wink

More pics here: http://imgur.com/a/vqSAJ#0

It comes with the original box and accessories as well as the original shroud if you want it. Looking for $75 in BTC offers now shipped in the US.

If you have any questions please ask. Smiley

10  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Custom 'Helping Hands' Benchtop Version on: December 18, 2012, 08:47:42 PM
I have made a pair of these 'helping hands' for my brother and me for Christmas based on a design at Instructables.  I have enough materials to make another 2 if there is any interest.

EDIT: I can do 5BTC each shipped to the US. The arms can be tailored to your specs. Smiley

http://imgur.com/a/YUsYQ/

They are made from plate aluminum with a textured neoprene mat for the underside. This makes it very stable and doesn't slide on my bench top.  The alligator clips can be replaced with anything that attaches to banana clips, so it is fairly customizable.

The hands are coolant tubing and can be positioned in any direction. They also can hold several pounds without buckling, like this PSU.

If you have any questions please let me know. Smiley
11  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz C9 Memory (4x4GB) on: December 18, 2012, 08:24:06 PM
This is a straight forward listing. Was going to do a memory intensive project with my brother that never materialized so I have 16GB of RAM in 4 module set for sale.

They were installed and run for about 2 weeks before I pulled them out again. They work flawlessly at their rated speeds. Looking for $55 in BTC offers now shipped to the US.

Any questions, just ask. Smiley

Having mined with pretty much every type of card, these were my best, fast and cool. Smiley

Comes with all packaging and accessories.  Looking for $300 in BTC each plus ship. USA only please.  Will throw in one unused 3 game card and a 'power jack' video card stabilizer for free.

13  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Watercooled Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 (Price reduction) on: August 21, 2012, 06:20:36 PM
I am selling my Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 with EK nickel block and backplate. It was my main gaming card and it picked up some mining duties as well starting the end of last summer. Its voltage is locked and cannot be changed without a BIOS mod but it does overclock pretty well under water.

EDIT: Here is the best pic I could get of the card together and mining.

Here are some pics of the individual parts:

I am asking for $175 $160 $150 in BTC for it. PM with questions or if interested.

I can also arrange to sell the parts needed to make a small water loop if you don't already have a defined system.
14  Economy / Goods / Cablez Random Parts/Games Post!!! Updated Products on: July 28, 2012, 06:59:27 PM
Under the influence of my significant other I must now start to clear out the stuff that has accumulated in my 'area' due to Bitcoin.

This will be an updating thread so keep an eye out for changes!

First we have a Linksys/Cisco E2000 wireless N router with 2.5 and 5GHz bands. I had used it for about 4 months and it worked great. Can be turned into a host system for running your BFLs with ddwrt.
Looking for $30 in BTC plus shipping.

Here we have the 'Power Jack' by Powercolor. Can be used to hold up your heavy graphics cards or whatever you can think of. I have 3 new in box. 0.3BTC each and shipping.

Next is (2) 25ft cat5e network cables in black. They are like new and were only used for a couple of weeks before I went wireless. 1BTC plus shipping and they are yours.

Finally there are several video game codes for sale. I have three tri-game cards which has Deus EX, DIRT showdown, and Nexuiz. Asking 3 BTC per card.
Also have Battlefiled 3 for 2.5BTC and Sonic generations for 2BTC. For the games we can discuss how best to get you the codes either through the post or electronically.

UPDATE:
I have reattached the waterblock to the vapor-x 5870 and reinserted it into my system. Everything seems to be working just fine now with games and the card mines at 415MH/s @35ºC with no issues being recognized now. With this development I am closing the separate listings for the card and waterblock and now selling them together. I cannot vouch for the stock cooler to work correctly but I will of course ship all the parts together.
Make me an offer for the pair.

First up we have a EK 5870 V2 waterblock and backplate pair in nickel finish. They are in great condition except for some cosmetic nickel loss on the acrylic side as this was made before EK used the electroless nickel procedure.
I am asking $45 in BTC plus shipping.

This is my sapphire vapor-x 5870. I just recently pulled it from my system as I replaced it with a 7970. It was my gaming card mostly with some mining as well. Its voltage cannot be changed without a BIOS mod and it overclocks pretty well. Unfortunately when I took everything apart and put the stock cooler back on it has gotten flakey and I am not sure why. It was a rock for the last year. Anyway make me an offer for this card if you can figure it out, card comes with all original packaging and accessories.

Thanks for looking. Smiley
15  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] BFL singles rev3 units on: June 02, 2012, 07:49:01 PM
I am moving on to other areas of Bitcoin and out of mining so I now have some rev3 BFL singles for sale.

I would like to get these sold as soon as I can to free up some capital.  Why wait for BFL?  These come from the East Coast US and can be shipped the next day.

If you buy the whole lot I will throw in my 10-port powered usb hub and a free set of my custom power cables designed to your specs!  Grin  Grow your mining operation today!!

Details: I have 11 units up for grabs. They run at 832MH/s or higher in my setup.  Price is 175BTC now 170BTC each. The price includes shipping to the USA only. All serious offers please PM.
Escrow is OK! Any questions feel free to post here.

I understand that there is a price premium but I have my reasons.  The best part for you would be the new trade up offered by BFL to get ASICs when they release them!

Edit 6/9/2012 - Sale is Final

16  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] 2x Gigabyte 5870 on: May 03, 2012, 01:15:03 AM
Hey Everyone.  Cheesy

I am mid progress in my switch out of GPU mining and I have a couple of cards to part with.

These are Gigabyte 5870 Ultra Durable Radeons. Specs of the cards can be found here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125316

I bought these in August of last year and they have been happily mining in my open air rig since that time.
Right now they are running at 900/280 with 1.020v yielding a nice 412Mh/s with temps that peak at 73C. Cool

I am asking 30BTC each including shipping within the US. I have all the accessories and packaging that will ship as well.

If you have any questions or want to know more either PM me or post here.

Thanks

Now that I have your attention.

Hello all,  I am looking to divest myself out of GPU mining and get into this FPGA craze.  Grin

I am not interested in someone's place in line waiting I am looking to change formats ASAP so hardware only deals, thanks.

If you have the goods I have the BTC, let's talk.  Smiley
18  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] ATX PSU to 2.5 or 2.1/5.5mm 12V coaxial plug power cables [New Product!!] on: March 28, 2012, 12:14:35 AM
EDIT: 3-28-2013   It has been one year since I started selling my cables here to help the FPGA mining community and I just wanted to say thank you for keeping this endeavor going. I always new it was a niche project but it was fun and allowed me to positively occupy my time.  Smiley  Thank you guys again.

Because of current BTC pricing I will no longer list my prices as they become irrelevant too quickly. Just PM me for a quote.

I have made some ATX to barrel plug adapters for my BFL singles. Smiley
Some people may not want to be bothered making up there own custom cables or losing precious efficiency with the BFL supplied power bricks.  Huh
These cables will also fit the Icarus or ztex FPGA or any 12V 2.5/5.5mm DC plug peripheral.  I can also do 2.1/5.5 DC plugs which are found on the x6500.
I can make cable adapters or direct to modular PSU connectors.

Here are the base type cables that I currently make:

These cables are 32" long with 2.5/5.5mm center +ve barrel plugs at a pitch of 8" for BFL single spacing.

For my needs I have used an EPS12V and a direct to PSU PCIE connector (for simpler cable management).

I can easily change the: pitch -> distance between barrel plugs
connector type -> EPS12V, PCIE, 4 pin CPU, even direct to PSU connections (with a properly supplied pinout)
length -> depending on your application
wire thickness -> 18AWG is standard but also have 16AWG for longer runs or BFLs
sleeving -> I find it aids in cable management (buyers choice)

I also now provide switches for your ATX power supplies if it is not the host system: Can be for modular and non-modular types. Pricing is Please PM each

Here is a cable for powering a Raspberry Pi from an ATX PSU.

Larger quantities are not a problem as well.  Fast turnaround time and shipping!

The base type cable specs are (up to 6' long, custom pitch, 18AWG, up to 3 barrel plugs, male PCIE connector, sleeve/heatshrink) I am asking Please PM which includes shipping within USA.
Further customized cables may be more depending on the work or materials needed.

Disclaimer:  I take no responsibility for the improper use of these cables. They will be wired accordingly and tested to work on your PSU and FPGAs to power them.  Incorrect use of these cables that causes damage to your PSU or FPGAs is not my responsibility.  Receipt of payment confirms these statements.

Caution: It is possible to connect a 12vEPS from a PSU into the 6pin or 8pin PCIE power cable I provide.  The polarities of these two cables are opposite and could damage your hardware!!!
Be very certain when ordering and using my cables that you know which are which!!!

Please PM me if you are interested.   Any questions, post away.  Grin

EDIT: 3/29/2012 - Clarified some points and added disclaimer.
4/26/2012 - Added cautionary statement about polarity.
5/27/2012 - Added switches to products available and editing
7/6/2012 - Changed pricing due to exchange rates
        8/2/2012 - Rally Pricing!!!
        8/15/2012 - Rally Pricing Again!!!
        3/28/2013 - Anniversary acknowledgement
        9/18/2013 - New Product added
